• stephen (8/5): The best basic Hotel I have stayed in, very happy. - The owner went out of the to make sure I was able to access the hotel as I arrived outside reception hours (please check) So first impressions were great. I also found the hotel very clean, had a fridge and a balcony. It is very basis but as basic goes this was excellent. It is about 5 min walk to Cafe Mambo area or about 5 mins to the west end strip. There is plenty of supermarkets etc very close by. All in all I was very happy with my stay. Also excellent free wifi !!!

There is a safe inside your room for your belongings. Nice patio, no one bothers you. Clean washrooms, sheets, towels, ect. They try hard to make people happy. I would stay again.

• Arimi (4/5): Esta en una zona con todos los servicios - En 5 noches nos han limpiado una vez la habitación y muy por encima (vaciaron una papelera y estiraron las sabanas) no se si por cercanía a otras terrazas o por otros motivos también nos ha desaparecido calzado y ropa de marca, el ventilador del techo no es suficiente para el calor que hay en la habitación. La atención ha sido muy buena por parte de la persona que estaba de turno de mañana en el turno de noche no les apetece mucho ni hablar con los clientes.

Camere essenziali e pulite, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Personale davvero cortese e disponibile, danno supporto per ogni richiesta. Certamente ci tornerei e lo consiglio vivamente!!!!!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Hostal regular pero aceptable. - El hostal está bien si solo lo usas para dormir, habitación pequeña, se oyen todos los ruidos y se concentra bastante calor, la cama no es muy comoda. El secador de mano no funcionaba y me dieron uno que parecía de juguete y tras tener que solicitarlo dos veces. El personal un poco regular ya que en la mayor parte del tiempo no estaban en el puesto de recepcion.

• hailey (2/5): We were put in the attic - Stayed in the attic with no A/C even though it said there was a/c. The next morning we were told our second reservation was no good because they overbooked. Thankfully the second hotel we moved to was better. You have to haul your stuff up to the first floor and then there’s an elevator to the 4th, but if you’re in the attic you have to climb two more sets of stairs. Woke up to people sounding like they were fighting each other, so we stayed in our room until it stopped.

Late check in ad esempio! Situato a 10 minuti dalla stazione dei bus e 10 minuti dal porto, Per visitare Ibiza è una perfetta soluzione! Alla mia prossima visita sull'isola tornerò qui senza dubbio!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet but near to amenities - Pleasantly surprised to say this was a hostel, but it was fab, and really cheap for Ibiza, Far enough away from all the noise, but only a 5 min walk away from "The Strip" , Staff were so friendly, especially Fabricio, he is a star! The only reason i gave 4 star for facilities, was because there's no pool. But a 3 minute walk to the Hotel Tropical where you can use their pool. 5 euro charge for the day, but you get a free drink, so really it doesnt cost anything.
• Salvo (10/5): Perfect holiday ever - Hostal Balearic made our holiday as a great experience. We arrived on 18th June. We immediately noticed the hospitality and the warm welcome of Fabrizio (director/receptionist). He kindly marked all the best locations to visit in a map. The room was very clean and still had a fresh smell of cleaning. The Hostal is very close to the town centre and to the sea. Better to rent a scooter/motorbike as you may struggle with parking space. Gioris bar, next to the hotel, is fabulous. The owners are amazing and very friendly. Also you get a discount as a customer of the Hostal Balearic. Fabrizio put me and my friend on a list for the Pacha club where we did not pay anything. We really appreciated it.
• S (6/5): Nett , easy Check out, zum schlafen ok - Super freundlicher Hotelier. Leichtes ein und auschecken ohne Komplikationen . Haben ein Doppel Zimmer gebucht und bei Ankunft wegen nicht Belegung eine Suite ohne Aufpreis bekommen . Zuerst gefreut , doch dann erkannt das diese im 4. Stock ohne Aufzug lieg XD Keine Klima Größe Terrasse aber keine Möbel dort . Badezimmer spärlich aber sauber . Zwei Doppel Betten und ein Smart tv vorhanden . Kleiner Kühlschrank . Decken Ventilator 2 Tage viel das decken Licht und der Ventilator aus ( bei 30 Grad ohne Klima nicht angenehm ) . Kaum jemand an der Rezeption über Tag . Man ist eben auf sich selbst gestellt XD trotzdem lustig dort und das aus checken war einfach mit Katzen Einwurf im Brief Kasten erledigt . Das Hotel befindet sich oberhalb Sant Antoni Stadt Läden sind rings herum sowie Bars und Shops und Restaurants . Bis zum Strand ca 500 Meter abwärts . Straße ist 24 Stunden belebt mit Hotel Gästen die ebenfalls in den Hotels Gerade Rüber und neben an sind . Kleiner Tipp : keinen Leih wagen buchen ! Parkplätze in den Straßen ab 23 Uhr ausgebucht

More than happy with the bed, the room, and fantastic shower. The staff were extremely friendly and had enough understanding of English to make things less awkward at check in. Would definitely choose this hotel again if needed.

• Danielle (6/5): Hotel very good location - We stayed in room 101 which was clean and had a lovely little balcony. Basic hotel but had everything we needed for our short stay. Excellent location near to beach, the bay and good choice of local bars and shops within a minute or two walking distance. Only complaint was there was a leak in our bathroom but it seemed under control by the time we left. Would stay again, not bad for the price we paid.

Then there is No aircondition and were stuck with a very hot room that made it hard to breathe during August. There is also No parking which will make you circle around on the streets to park. Overall the hotel is Very old and rundown.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Relatively expensive hostal compared to service - The hotel was basically OK, but the bathroom had the shower head mount point broken and its water cable was patched with a plastic cable instead of a proper replacement; moreover the drain piping was a little rusted. Since we were at the 1st floor, it was a little noisy because of the people in the street but the worse noise we got was from others people in the hotel coming back in the early morning. A disappointing thing is that the reception in not full time present, so you've to call a number and wait the guy to arrive.
• Ivan (6/5): Basterebbe poco per un giudizio migliore - Esperienza positiva nel complesso, ma personalmente, alcuni piccoli miglioramenti alla struttura renderebbero il giudizio da sufficiente a buono.. in particolare,il ventilatore a colonna rumoroso, una perdita d'acqua importante al wc che comunque nn mi ha creato disagio (ma quanto spreco d'acqua!) la colazione indicata a buffet,non lo era, soprattutto almeno un cambio lenzuola in 6gg di permanenza era necessario.. Posizione buona, fuori dal casino ma comunque centrale e comodo per gli spostamenti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, buona scelta per chi non ha troppe pretese.
• James (2/5): Awful place - This was such an uncomfortable experience am so glad it was only for 2 nights. There was no air conditioning and no balcony and a small window, it was astonishingly hot inside. The staff were ok but not very helpful or friendly and we struggled continuously to open our room door and they would always act like were a nuisance. We referred to the room as our cell because that's how I'd imagine a prison cell to feel in a humid country.

We mentioned it to staff and they proceeded to tell us that Sant Antonio as a whole was currently being fumigated. Barf much? Then one of the employees brought up a giant bottle of raid and sprayed the room choking us with chemical fumes and then left the bottle in the room if we needed to use it. No refund or room change or even an apology. DISGUSTING. Worst accommodation ever.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Nie wieder - Das Hostel ist als solches eine Katastrophe. Die Decke löst sich ab, es schimmelt und danach riecht es auch. Die Feuchtigkeit im Raum war so hoch, die Anziehsachen haben sich gleich feucht angefühlt. Die Zimmertür hat sich nur kompliziert verschließen lassen und wenn sie nicht richtig zu gedrückt war konnte man sie immer noch mit leichtem Druck öffnen.

The trip was made even better because of the staff. The only problem was that wifi got disconnected at times which was inconvenient. But the overall experience was amazing and will recommend the hotel to friend or family.
• shannon (2/5): La cucaracha.....!!! - We saw cockroaches in our room on two separate occasions. Room seemed clean but this was very alarming. Additionally, the light burnt out in our bathroom so we were left with a dark bathroom during our stay. The staff was very helpful when we needed any advice but I wouldn't stay in San Antonio again. For the amount we spent on cans to get in and out of Ibiza it's worth it to splurge on a place and be where the action is instead of San antoni which was a bit tired.
• rocket ship (8/5): Owners were awesome and accommodating - Daniel and his wife recently bought this budget hotel in the last year. They were both so friendly and accommodating, it made our stay that much more comfortable and enjoyable. Keeping in mind that this is definitely for those on a budge, the price was great, and good value for the price. I know they are still in the process of updating this older building, so I am excited to see what changes will be happening before my next return.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Cozy small hostel at the great value - Simple hotel, small, clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly staff. Great location in San Antoni - close to everywhere yet away from street noise. Could benefit from wifi in the room (only by reception) and cooked breakfast (but plenty of cafes nearby). The only issue we had was the noisy pipes, as soon as your neighboors open the tabs, it sounds like a massive leak in your room - it could have just been our room, but really loud noise of water flow in the night.

The outside area with a bar/resturant was great and everyone in the area friendly. Pity we couldn't stay longer as it was just a pit stop to get to the other side of the island. • Melissa (8/5): Great place to stay - Loved the hostel, the staff were friendly and it was in a great spot only thing is the rooms got a bit hot without air conditioning and there was no lift to help us with our luggage up the sets of stairs! Still would stay here again but would just be prepared to pack lighter... and battle the heat

• Baritone (4/5): Unpleasant experience - This hostel is very basic. If something does not work, it won't be fixed. The owners will ignore your complains, very unprofessional. You get just a set of keys regardless the number of adults in your party, and there isn't someone at the reception at all times. Breakfast is offered at €5 and it is extremely poor, doesn't just lack variety, but quantity, there were like 4 slices of ham well spread on a tray. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone.
• chris (4/5): Hotel close to beach and shops - Just evirdge hostel for basic tourist needs. We had a small fridge witch was a bonus. Last two nights of stay it was to noisy as guest in next room they had fought among them self. Our room was sticky hot no air conditioning.

• Carlos (8/5): Nice hotel, really clean and near to good places - I really liked it, was really clean and near to almost everything, the only bad thing is that it was so hot and there is no air conditioner in the room, maybe they can improve this for the future. I can't tell anymore about food or anything like because we just stayed one night while we wait for our flight, but other than the air, everything seems to be fine for the price.
• Marilyn R. (10/5): Amazing Vacations - Staying at Hostal Balearic was truly a great experience. The staff did a great job in making there residents feel at home. They were very friendly and understanding. The price is pretty cheap and the service is absolutely great. One of the best things of this hostel is that it has its own bar right next door, very convenient! Prices for food and drinks are unbeatable. The location is also perfect because with a 5 minute walk down the street there is a beautiful beach where you can enjoy watching the sunset or simply have a walk by the beach. The bartender is absolutely amazing because he prefers unique drinks according to your preferences. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.This is definitely a place to stay in!
