La chambre est confortable et le petit dej très copieux et délicieux. Une adresse où il fait bon s’arrêter une nuit ou plusieurs pour découvrir les alentours.

Every room has its own style, created by the landlady. A generous family-style breakfast with homemade ingredients.

• Yui Man (10/5): - Owner-host Madam Rita welcomed us to her home with thoughtful arrangements like electric blankets to warm up our bed. Our spacious room is inside the villa but with a separate entrance. We parked our car just outside our room. Breakfast was huge, with Rita's delightful homemade jam. On departure, Google misguided us to a high point of U-turn above the Villa, which lo and behold offered an excellent photo op of Piazza Armerina below Mt Etna! The road leading to the villa called for mindful manoeuvring, but once inside the villa compound is in a splendid world of its own.

• Mary Jo (10/5): Our Night in the Heart of Sicily - We came to Piazza Armerina to view the Roman mosaic. I had booked our accommodations at Villa Clementines B&B in advance via the internet. Rita, our hostess, was waiting for us with a warm welcome. She could not have made us feel any more comfortable. We felt as if we were visiting family. The accommodations were clean, orderly and cozy. (We visited in early March.). Rita’s breakfast was made to order. My son and I each eat differently in the morning, I eat light, he a full breakfast. Everything was delicious. Our room was arranged for my son to sleep on a sofa bed and I in the queen bed. We each slept very well. It was a quiet and a very tranquil night’s sleep. We wished we could have stayed longer with Rita in her lovely home, there in the very heart of Sicily. A stay with Rita is an authentic experience. We enjoyed her home and graciousness.

• Karin und Romano (10/5): Eine wunderschöne Wohnung mit einer tollen Gastgeberin, sehr zu empfehlen - Die Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel und toll ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin hat uns freundlich empfangen, über vieles informiert und sich jeden Tag erkundigt, ob wir etwas brauchen. Speziell geschätzt haben wir das frische Brot am Morgen. Eine tolle Dienstleistung! Die Zufahrt ist nicht ganz einfach, hat man sie jedoch gefunden, ist es problemlos.

Das Frühstück mit selbst gekochter Marmelade und Gebäck, Wurst und Käse ließ keine Wünsche offen. Persönliche Wünsche oder Allergien wurden bei der Ankunft erfragt. Die Straße zur Unterkunft ist eng und nicht beleuchtet. Das Zentrum kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen, aber der Weg zurück im Dunkeln ist ohne Taschenlampe nicht wirklich zu empfehlen.

• Fred (10/5): Phenomenal, and kind of a steal - The property is stunning: a beautiful setting, an old house that is lovingly restored, tasteful antique furniture everywhere, and an extremely friendly dog! The rooms were spacious, well appointed, and the hosts had really thought of everything. They also lived there full-time, and are available to help you with anything. Some of the kindest people I have encountered on my travels, actually. And they cooked all the breakfast items from scratch, including fig jam made from fruit grown on their own property. Literally nothing. But I would caution people that, although it is just over a mile from the center of town, it is not a route you would really want to walk, as about a third of that is on a country road that is not well illuminated.

• Bernhard (9/5): Ein wunderschöner Ort mit herzlichen Gastgebern - Ein altes Landhaus mit einem großen Garten und Pool zum entspannen. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer mit großem Bad am Garten, im Haupthaus können die Gäste ein Wohnzimmer mit bequemen Sofas und eine Bibliothek benutzen, was jetzt im Oktober am Abend sehr angenehm war. Das Frühstück war super, vielfältig mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen, Obst und mehr. Es wird an einem großen Tisch mit allen Gästen eingenommen. Die Gastgeber sind sooo herzlich ❤️, sie haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einer wahren Freude gemacht.

De gastvrouw verzorgt een prima ontbijt met hoogwaardige (eigen) producten. Als er meerdere gasten zijn eten ze gezamenlijk aan de grote tafel in de woonkeuken. Op loopafstand van het nabijgelegen stadje Piazza Armerina en zo'n tien minuten rijden van de bekende Vila romana del casale. De weg naar het verblijf is smal en daardoor soms een beetje avontuurlijk maar goed te doen.

Greatly enjoyed the garden surroundings and the sparkling pool, including the friendly dog. The very friendly owner provided easy transport to dining options. We would highly recommend a stay at Villa Clementine.

Questa magnifica villa non è solo un luogo di rara bellezza, ma rappresenta la perfetta combinazione tra eleganza architettonica e atmosfera accogliente. La struttura stessa è un gioiello: ogni dettaglio è curato con amore e attenzione, dalle camere arredate con gusto raffinato agli spazi comuni che invitano al relax e alla contemplazione. I giardini circostanti creano un’oasi di pace e serenità che difficilmente dimenticheremo. Ma ciò che ha reso davvero eccezionale la nostra esperienza è stata l’accoglienza calorosa e premurosa dei nostri host. La loro ospitalità è stata, senza alcun dubbio, la migliore che abbiamo mai ricevuto durante tutti i nostri viaggi. Ogni gesto, ogni attenzione, ogni sorriso ha contribuito a farci sentire non semplici ospiti, ma membri di una famiglia. La passione e la dedizione con cui si prendono cura dei loro ospiti è palpabile in ogni momento del soggiorno. Hanno saputo anticipare ogni nostro desiderio e bisogno con una naturalezza e una grazia che raramente si incontra nel mondo dell’ospitalità. Villa Clementine non è semplicemente un posto dove dormire, ma un’esperienza che tocca il cuore e lascia ricordi indelebili. Consigliamo vivamente questa meravigliosa dimora a chiunque cerchi un soggiorno autentico, elegante e ricco di calore umano. Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques et la gentillesse et le générosité de Rita resteront dans nos souvenirs. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents. Toujours soucieuse de notre bien-être, Rita prépare ses petits déjeuners avec soin et propose toujours gâteaux, gaufres ou brioches faits le matin même. Aussi, nous avons pu nous régaler de ses tomates du jardin dans de délicieuses salades offertes avec bon cœur. Un chaleureux merci à Rita et à toute sa famille sans oublier Etorre, berger australien très attachant. Nous ne voyons pas car nous avons tout apprécié.

Poolen er virkelig unik og ligger smukt omgivet af grønne omgivelser. Bedstemor Rita var en fantastisk vært – varm, hjælpsom og nærværende. Hun serverede den lækreste morgenmad med hjemmebagte kager og brød hver morgen. Man føler sig hurtigt hjemme her. Et perfekt sted at slappe af og opleve den ægte sicilianske stemning. Ville ønske, at vi havde booket flere nætter netop lige her☀️

The rooms are in different locations in the grounds. What made the stay truly memorable even more than the property was was the excellent host, Rita. She was outstanding. Always smiling and helpful. She was very generous with the lovely breakfast. She also arranged transportation whenever required. Thank you Rita.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very kind and helpful—and an excellent baker! We enjoyed her homemade tiramisu, cake, and jams! If you are in Piazza Armerina, treat yourself to a stay here!

• Amandalia (8/5): Very friendly host, clean and spacious room in a quiet location which is also pet friendly - The chalet room was very spacious, we requested a cot for our baby and we found it already in the room as well as a high chair. Area is very quiet and pet friendly which is why I selected this hotel as we travelled with our family dog. The host Rita was very friendly and accommodating. There is a supermarket very close to the villa which the host told us about. A quick drive of about 7 to 8 minutes leads you to the center of Piazza Armerina. We had no issues with the dog. There are also parking spaces once you enter the villa gates. Everything was up to standard. Did not have any complaints. The villa is situated in a rather tricky road which is a two-way road but then in a very quiet area. We used the co-ordinates noted on this website and did not have any problems in finding the Villa. We had an issue with the room's television but Rita was prompt to solve the problem.

• Fuania (10/5): Splendid Villa Clementine - Loved that Villa Clementine was an absolute oasis in the heat and dust of summer. The pool was deliciously cool, and we were so lucky to have a magical moment when the owners son invited us to join him and his family for granita and brioche! Very special. Rita was a warm and friendly hostess, our room was lovely with great aircon and super comfy bed, and breakfast was delicious. It was a very special stay and a highlight of our Sicily tour. Nothing.

Everything very clean, well-maintained. Strong wifi. Comfortable bed w/ extra pillows, good bedding. Superb brkfst in welcoming big kitchen, top quality food, great selection fresh fruit, juices, exc. coffee/tea, fresh baked breads, tarts, cakes, croissants, sliced meats, yogurt, cheeses, eggs upon request. Good climate control with strong AC/heat unit. We had an electric hot water kettle for making coffee or tea in room plus a rather small refrigerator. Thick curtains over good windows. Lovely garden with chairs and pool (very cold by mid-Oct.) The owner/hostess, Rita, is marvelous, very friendly, speaks some English, and she's there! She lives in the rest of the villa w/ husband, a local physician. Great attention to detail, Rita takes that extra effort to be helpful, e.g., plentiful ice cubes upon request. More importantly she is willing to drive guests into Piazza Armerina and come back to pick you up for modest fee (10 Euros round trip, definitely worth it, driving in PA after dark best avoided.) Secure parking for guests' vehicles within locked gate for which guests have remote control key. Best to have your own wheels. 5 minute easy drive from Villa Clementine, opposite direction away from cit southward to the fabulous mosaics at Villa Romana del Casale (btw, be sure to visit this incredible & extensive Roman site!). Rates are very fair ...our best breakfasts in 12 days in Sicily. We stayed 2 nights but wished we had booked for 3 or 4. Piazza Armerina is definitely worth visiting with some very good restaurants, the Duomo, museums. Seems less "touristy" and in mid-October was less crowded or touristed than Noto, Ragusa, Ortigia or Agrigento. If you stay at Villa Clementine (only three rooms available for guests), I'm confident you will be glad you did! Thanks, Rita! The approx. half mile drive from city of Piazza Armerina up to Villa Clementine is on quite narrow road, single lane in some places with quite a few pot holes. Without GPS would likely be hard to find, typical of Sicilian mountain cities or towns can be awkward if meeting a vehicle coming other direction. There can be a few small mosquitoes so one keeps door closed, two openable windows (one in bathroom) but no screens on them so they need to be kept closed at night. Lovely view over valley does have an elevated highway bridge in view it but maybe 200 meters distant from house, there can be some audible traffic noise but not really noticeable with windows closed. Our lovely big bedroom had relatively small bathroom, takes a while for hot water to arrive but shower's water pressure was fine. There was strong fragrance (air freshener?) after the room was cleaned that took a few hours to dissipate and to which I had some allergic reaction, but nothing serious. By nighttime was gone. Room was a bit dark, we thought, suggested addition of one reading lamp behind easy chair which Rita indicated she thought a very good idea and one that she would act upon right away. The TV signal was a bit dodgy, only three channels in English were not strong reception, so mostly Italian TV. Netflix, other streaming services much appreciated but not always easy to watch.
• Lynch (8/5): Great hostess made this stay worthwhile. She was extremely gracious and kind. - The host and owner, Rita, was terrific. She even drove us into town for dinner one night, and picked us up. She is really a lot of fun, and energetic. The place was close to the Romana Casale. Grounds well kept. Breakfast very nice and well-served. We would have preferred staying in a room in the house rather than the garden room underneath the terrace. Pool was cold and closed for the season but we could swim if we wanted.
