- Verified traveler (4/5): Rank - WiFi didn't work. Room was filthy, hadn't been hoovered and dust everywhere. Desk was filthy with dried white liquid everywhere which I hope was toothpaste. Window and curtains dirty.

- Verified traveler (6/5): friendly staff, bit basic - Friendly staff. Basic room with shower and a sink and toilet. It was a bit noisy at night with the inmates and a nearby company had vehicles / equipment making a noise.
- Lee (4/5): You Get What You Pay For. - Hotel on a trading estate, light in room flickering, television unwatchable, terrible leak on the door of the the shower enclosure and where it meets the wall. A few minutes shower results in a huge puddle on the floor. Luckily the room was ground floor or it would flood the room below. You get what you pay for.
- Terry (6/5): - The location of this hotel is poor stuck on an industrial estate the hotel was in the middle of refurbishment and was bit like a building sight inside also on web site they say atm machine though this was removed 2 years ago
- Lee (6/5): disappointed - Hotel was is being refurbished. We had the pleasure of overlooking a pile of old mattresses that were stacked outside our room window. We found a e-cigarette vape machine under a towel on our bed.

- Charlotte (8/5): Not happy at all! - Stayed at the hub hotel between 10-20times I have never really had any problems. I stayed this time I couldn’t sleep because of banging and others being really loud! Got to sleep had 2 hours sleep, had a cleaner banging on my door at 10am then walked in!! We wasn’t even dressed!! Offered no sorry, told we were being rude even though we was upset!! Not happy to be honest Stayed here in December 2019 and my bedroom heater caught fire

- Tayla (4/5): Refund? - We stayed in room 202. Every 10 minutes an alarm was going off which was very off putting. A flashing light was coming through the window the whole night which we couldn’t figure out what it was. Next to the window, the rim of it was all ripped off. Where the fire alarm was in the wall above the door, there was a massive hole which in the night looked like a spider. The springs in the bed were so noisy!! Any time you moved, they did and the headboard was broken. Also woke up with a bite on my arm which I have attached a photo of.

- Verified traveler (4/5): I thought it was a brothel - It looked like an un maintained brothel from the outside but to be fair we arrived in the dark which was probably for the best. The first thing we noticed when going into reception was the smell of something awful that had been cooked in the shared kitchen. The rooms weren’t much better, they smelled strange aswell. The decor is terrible and cheap and I held my breath when I pulled back to sheets, no stains thankfully but the bed springs dug into every part of me giving a bad sleep. The shared toilets were smaller than you get on a plane and weren’t very clean luckily I didn’t have to sit down, for the shared shower cubicles I didn’t have the bottle to go for one and not to forget the tv in the room froze on every channel which has annoying! Thankfully it was one night, my colleague stayed in another room and slept in his clothes on top of the bed which says it all really. 70 ish rooms I think I read when booking and I can imagine they pull in decent money none of which I would of thought is spent on improving the place or used to buy good air freshener!

- Charlie (10/5): Great cheap overnight stay! - Just needed somewhere to stay the night after an event. The service at the door was very friendly and accommodating, they sorted taxis out for us at extremely cheap prices considering the time of day and where we were going too... if you are looking for an over night stay that’s cheap and in a ideal spot, I would strongly recommend the Hub

Was staying in a room with shared shower and bathroom facilities. They were well maintained throughout the stay (clean and well stocked).

- Katia (10/5): Just lovely! - If you want just sleep and then go out in the morning, that's the right place. It's very quiet, clean and the bed it's comfortable. Well, it's not the top and the room it's very little... But it's a good hotel with good price! I'm gonna surely come back!!

Bed comfy enough and typical cheap but clean hotel. It's on an industrial/retail park but Cineworld is close enough if you want entertainment.
- Sarah (6/5): Cheap for a reason - This is more of a hostel than a hotel. Very basic rooms, no lamps, bedside tables, tv didn't work, tiny shower with fixed head (so the water hits the wall behind you) and an en suite where the light only comes on with motion sensor and turns off when you are in the shower because the motion sensor can't see you once you are in there!! Staff are pleasant, and you can get a drink but, but the wine isn't good. Location is great for Peterborough town centre, but it is really, really basic. Beware when booking, most rooms DON'T have en-suites, so check that your room has a bathroom and that you are not sharing.
- fluffy (6/5): Basic but practical - Hotel was what I expected. Comparable to something like an F1 or Premiere Classe but twice the price. Cheapest hotel in Peterborough though this weekend! No toilet in room but has a kettle and tea and coffee, which Premiere Classe doesn't. Has sink in room. Toilets and showers were just over the corridor. Both clean and tidy. Opposite room was a canteen area. We didn't need to use it but it would have been handy if we did. Had tables, chairs, vending machines, sink and microwave. Beds comfy. Enough pillows. TV with lots of channels. Hotel has small bar area but we didn't use it. Short walk from a retail/leisure park for eating out. Would probably stay here again if Travelodge is £80+ like it would have been this weekend. This hotel was £53.
- John (6/5): beds the size of a teenage child - Im not tall by any means nor am I overweight but the bed was too small for me to get a decent nights sleep. No bedside lamps. The ceiling light fitting looked like it should have had 2 lamps in not 1 so reading was impossible. No heating was on nor any means to manualy turn it on. There was only 1 socket in the corner so no means of connecting a laptop. Overhaul if I was too be sent to prison I am sure it would have been a far better experiance than staying in this "hotel" I am surprised that some of the truckers didnt opt to sleep in their cabs. The shared shower was at least refreshing in the morning. The breakfast ran out of the orange juice I had ordered the night before and only apple juice was available LOVELY No I wont be going back here in a hurry

- Michael (8/5): Good decent cheap hotel. - Place was clean and tidy, and somewhere to put your head. For a night, it was ideal. Cheap cheerful and clean. The people in the desk sorted a taxi and told us about the good bars to go to, and really seemed to care about your experiance. I would definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to some places - It was nice, the hotel was not too far from the city Center and some restaurants near the area, the shared bathrooms could be bigger and the pillows had some little hairs , apart from that was all good.
- TINA (6/5): - Fair value for money. The room was too hot. But it was an exceptionally hot day. The shower head sprayed over the top of the door wetting the floor. Bed was comfy. Location was good. Places to eat within walking distance or < than 5 mins drive. There was a coffee room with drinks machine and a microwave which is a bonus. Staff were courteous.

- Rosalyn (6/5): You get what you pay for. - Bit concerned when we were driving up to it. On an industrial estate and not looking at the best. Staff were helpful at reception but going to our room it was rather whiffy. Toilets and showers along the corridor. We had booked ensuite room so I was concerned about where our room was. Finally we were reached a room with ensuite facilities. Bed was comfortable but cramped. Shower was very small and difficult to use as shower head was in ceiling facing straight down and very difficult to change direction of the water.

- Peter (8/5): Basic and reasonable - Minimal - but ok. Room was small for twin beds, but TV worked fine, and kettle, and sink ok. Was a little noisy in the morning. Communal shower and toilet clean, and shower worked very well.

Walls are too thin and net curtains are needed! Need more plug sockets in the room. TV was tiny. Location, if driving is probably better, as is on a retail park. I feel the price I paid was a little high for what I received. Staff were fabulous though!

- Fergus (6/5): Hub Peterborough - It wasn't clear when making the booking that the rooms were not en suite. The communal shower and wc pods were clean enough, but showing signs of wear and tear, as well as being a bit tight on space. Local area lacking in eating establishments, as it's located in a trading estate.
- Jamie (6/5): Not good! - Stayed for two nights, whilst I don’t expect a full clean of the room, I don’t think tucking in the duvet and squirting green toilet cleaner in the pan is acceptable standard. They did not leave any towels or shower gels. I had to ask at reception and was told ‘I’ll see what I can do!!’ The coffee mug I’d used the night before had been run under the tap and just turned upside down and put back with coffee still inside! There were stains and dirt all over the walls and door and the shower drain was blocked so the floor flooded. All in all very poor!

- Janet (4/5): Very basic hotel style room but no facilities - The only food available was a snack machine, and could not find anywhere within walking distance for food for evening meal or breakfast. Did not fancy using the shared showers which were some distance from room, the toilets reminded me of the t;ype you get on a ferry. I suppose for value it was not bad, but would not have chosen to stay here had I realised what it was like, more like a hostel, in fact I would have preferred a hostel.

- Roy (6/5): Cheap, No Frills = your get what you pay for! - x night stay on a Sunday. The Hub was nearly empty, This hotel is Cheap and convenient for Peterborough City and Commercial areas, with easy access to ring-road. Plenty of Parking, Clean & reasonably well kept, but basic.
- Mrs H (2/5): We won't be visiting The Hub again - Bed was uncomfortable, shower didn't drain very well so afraid to have a decent flow of water for fear of overflowing the shower tray. TV was very poor could only view BBC and 5USA rest were mostly blanked out buffering. No plug in the hand basin. Walls very thin could hear people from many rooms around and particularly from room above even at 0430 am. Hoovering at 0630 am near our room was not appreciated. Shared toilets and showers added to the noise of people tramping the corridors until late at night or early the next day.
