- Peggy (2/5): - BROKEN PATIO DOOR WITH SEVERAL CRACKS IN THE LEFT PATIO DOOR; NO ACCESS TO FOOD AND BOTTLED WATER; RIGHT PATIO DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSEAND LOCK SECURELY; FLAT SCREEN TV HAD NO BATTERIES AND THERE WAS NO VISIBLE MEANS TO TURN ON TV MANUALLY. AS ADVERTISED;. 3 DAYS DELAY IN ADDRESSING COMPLAINTS;.NEIGHBORING BARKING DOGS LATE NIGHTS AND EARLY MORINGS DISRUPTING MY SLEEP; AND IT WAS NOT SAFE TO WALK TO THE COMMUNITY STORE DUE TO STRAY DOGS AND NO SIDEWALKS

- spantatur (10/5): - Rooms need more bright lights
- Shantusha (10/5): - I had an amazing stay at this property. My room was clean and well maintained. Loved having the pool as an amenity. Staff were all kind and easy to communicate with.
- Ori (10/5): - We loved punto di oro , very nice people and helpful, very close to beaches and grocery stores . We are going back
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The people were amazing and super friendly !!! The room was very spacious and very comfortable. Just be prepared to rent a car or take a cab as it is away from the tourist area. Definitely recommend to stay here if you not interested in staying at resorts !!
- Terri (10/5): - We loved our stay. The owners & staff were wonderful! Friendly, helpful & we had a fantastic vacation.
- Glenn (10/5): The best - Very nice
- GABRIELA (8/5): - Great customer service
- George (10/5): My visit there - Great location , walking distance to supermarket , restaurants and bars . You will need a taxi to get to the beaches or they provide car rentals .Rooms were clean and spacious. Great wifi signal . Pool was clean and shared properly. Staff was amazing . Helped with anything i needed .
Will be returning. Thanks ponto di oro 👌
- Praimraj (10/5): Solo Traveler - I spent four days here and was pleasantly surprised with the amenities. The owner and his son, Avinash, were extremely helpful and courteous and always willing to offer any assistance that I needed. The swimming pool was very clean and I really had a great time swimming in it.
Although the location was in a residential area it was easy to get a taxi to any of the nearby beaches.
- Fadumo (10/5): - Nice place and nice people
- Philip Robert (8/5): - Very accommodating staff. New units under construction on site.
- Clarence (10/5): - Warm reception. Pretty good information sharing and helpful advice for 1st time visitors. Enjoyed my stay.
- Jose (10/5): - The place is not luxurious but is comfortable, simple, and clean. It has a nice kitchen with utensils and a full size refrigerator. The people working there were all very nice. I went on business and It was what I needed. I would stay there again.
- Douglas (6/5): - Need to update website
But would definitely stay there again
- Aaron (10/5): - Nice spacious cozy room only drawback pillows sheets were dirty and had stains
- robert (10/5): - It was the quietness for me....granted a rental car is best but cab service was very helpful...there was some construction going on but it wasnt major noise at all....some areas are walkable to if you dont mind walking around the neighborhood but overall i had a good stay
- Margeret (10/5): - This is my second time at this property. This time I was alone and felt perfectly safe.
- seu-lai (8/5): - great budget friendly hotel.
- Harmen (6/5): - It is nice it was a 2 bedroom apartment but the site/rooms are old and they are showing it. Some of the painting needs attention, some of the patch work needs attention.. I'd fill some of the holes left after adding the air conditioning units. There is not food/restaurant on site or within walking distance. There is huge constrution going on on the site...
- Brianna (10/5): Great hidden hotel for reasonable price in Aruba - We had an excellent stay at Punto di Oro! The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. When we first arrived we were given a run down of the island, with tips on where to eat and what to visit. They were even kind enough to loan my husband a snorkel set. We particularly loved the pool, which was conveniently right outside of our hotel. The property is quiet and tucked away. We also felt very safe, as there is someone that appears to be on guard every night sitting outside of the property throughout the night. We plan to return when we come back to Aruba.
I took away one star for condition, as the shower was a bit leaky. But I spoke with management and was told it would be fixed right away.
- L (10/5): - The rooms were clean and when we did have an issue with the stovetop, it was taken care of promptly. The office staff was professional and is very responsive if we needed anything. The property is off the main road and somewhat difficult to find so I would advise renting a car to get around the island. There is some construction work going on onsite, however, overall we had a quiet and peaceful stay. Restaurants, beautiful beaches and shopping were within close driving distance from this location.
- Peter Davis (6/5): - Bed was hard as a rock
- Christie (10/5): - I was lucky enough to find this gem.
It was so peaceful and relaxing, which I didn't know how much I needed until we got there. The pool was so inviting and clean.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful.
It felt like we could have stayed here forever.
- Nicole (10/5): - The unit was extremely clean and as pictured. It was very quiet and the was able to relax. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
- seu-lai (8/5): - Budget and Family Friendly, located in a odd spot but is okay if you have a rental car. Small mini markets nearby
- Pier (8/5): - The hosts are super hosts, any issue is resolved right away!
Very friendly and easy to approach
- Felix (10/5): - It was great. Good location, great amenities, price, services & location was good. The only thing that they have to change it is the bed mattress they were very bad.
- Ronald (6/5): Overall good. - CLeaning has to be ask for. No daily cleaning. bad internet services. They are expanding the building (Under construction) as this time.
- Brian (10/5): - The hotel was really nice and well maintained and the management was really helpful and communicative. The onsite car rental was also great and very easy. Good location close to everything. Would stay again and highly recommend!
- Nayla (10/5): Fantastic stay - The property was perfect for people who want to experience Aruba but don't want to stay in the touristy parts of the island. The front desk rents you a car and you can go to a ton of local restaurants surrounding the area and try a variety of cuisines, drive to museums and farms, and sleep without people partying outside.
The front desk staff was amazing — accommodating, helpful, and super flexible. The rooms were clean and organized, and the pool was perfect after a long day in the sun.
- Ghivet (10/5): - Amazing service ,hotel apartments and sparkling clean units and pool area the owner is amazing and his son as well !!!we where 3 and different ages and loved it will go again ❤️
- Bryce (10/5): Hidden Gem! - I had a wonderful experience with Punto di Oro! The location is a bit set back from the main activity in Oranjestad, but for the value it is definitely worth it. I recommend renting a car. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The complex itself is beautiful with a lovely pool. Staff was super friendly, accommodating, and even hooked me up with their convenient car rental service on site. I would absolutely stay with them again on a return trip to Aruba and recommend their services.
- dean (4/5): - Property owner is a nice guy. But his son is an a..hole. The toilet was stuck and he asked me to go and unplug it toilet myself.
I had to remind him I'm still a PAYING guest
- Mark (8/5): - Like that it is off the beaten path and has cooking facilities and a nice pool. Manager is always on site and works hard to address any issues that may arise.
- Juan Sebastian (8/5): - He was a good place and nice and quiet
- ALTARIQ (6/5): - The property is ok at best. 1st you need a rental car wherever you stay on the island.
The area around property look run down. The property itself is under renovation but our (4) days there we did not see any worker (as if they ran out of money). The room was clean (but a very hard bed) the website pictures of site needs to be updated. It loom like they are using pictures from grand opening
- Roeland (8/5): - The apartment is basic and ok.
The staff is friendly.
- Mark (8/5): - Nice to be able to cook rather than eat out all the time. Pool was nice and there was a nice grill and gazebo for us to use. Staff was friendly and nice.
- alfredo (8/5): - hard to find need better indications, we love the place clean with all you need to make your stay perfect
- Roderick (8/5): - Good
- Nicolas (6/5): unpleasant Vacation stay - we arrived the key was left inside the apartment ,First thing the glass doors going out the back had no lock, no hot water i ask they told me the boilers don't work . in 3 occasions had to kill 3 large ROACHES , on the second night of stay my daughter found a baby Lizard in her bed. we told them the last day she had no words out her mouth,
will never stay there again .
- pervaiz (10/5): - Privacy
- Jolanta (10/5): Nice apartment - Very nice place. Big pool. Laundry on site. Spacious and comfortable apartment with separate bedroom . Fully equipped kitchen . Little bit far from the beach, but takes about 5-10 min with the car . Would definitely stay there again
- Marc (4/5): - The stay everything was great, but they need to improve to self check in.
- Samira (8/5): - The TV signal was terrible and it is absurd that they only give one key for an apartment with 4 adults, you cannot do this unless the reception is open 24 hours which is not the case
- Kenneth W (2/5): - There was no coffee maker no ice maker 15 motorcycles parked in the pool area so of course there was no lounge chairs by the pool not as portrayed by Expedia pictures
- Perfecto (10/5): - Punto di Oro Hotel/Residences is great for a family on a budget. The area is safe, the staff is great. A big thank you to Kris from the front desk and to the owner Prakresh. This location is centrally located. The furtherest I had to drive was 30 minutes. To the main strip in Palm Beach it's just a 15 minute drive. Super convenient! Would definitely go back.
- john (10/5): - Great property! You just have to make sure you have a car.
Staff is super and give you there all !!!!!
- David (8/5): Punto di Oro Stay - The facilities and room were about what you would expect not staying on the resort and being an older property. Everything was clean and kept up. The main area pretty much looks like the pics that are put up. Very simple and quaint. We did find a broken toilet seat upon arrival which was fixed immediately. Staff was responsive and helpful. Only real downfall (maybe for some) was there was never any hot water...unless you wanted to wait until 2pm every day for showers. Other than that we enjoyed the stay. We are active people and did exploring but if we were to go back and just do more relaxation, we would probably look to do a resort that has many more amenities for that purpose.
- liliana (2/5): - Horrible experience with receptionist at the lobby while checking in and checking out. His is John and he was impolite, not professional and so rude to me and my husband. He neither follow Aruba Covid protocols because he wasn’t wearing mask when we were wearing. He didn’t gays the printing from the Covid negative results to take to the airport because he was with other guess who came after us so he didn’t respect us at all. I am wondering if he did this because my husband and I we are Americans because he sent us outside to wait while 2 other guests who were not Americans were inside the office when we were before the. We feel discriminated by him because we are Americans, he was totally impolite with us.
- NORMA (10/5): - Staff was friendly, happy to help,I would love to have a blow dryer in the bathroom and maybe a safe box in the room, but the place was safe, clean and we have a good stay.
I will return in the future.
- Tony (8/5): - Easy check in, helpful staff.
- Melania (10/5): - That was clean, the receptionist was friendly, security service was good. I loved it.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property is located in an area with residents, with vicious dogs (please do not stay here . My children were terrified,
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiet, clean and a good central location on the island
- DAVID (8/5): Decent place but not fancy - A good place for the one night we needed, but it would have been too small a room for a longer stay.
- Jhon (8/5): Local stay - We enjoyed a nice wknd get-a-way quite neighborhood far from the busy high rise hotels. Check in was easy and quick. Pool and surrounding areas are great as shown on pictures. The room be got, #17 is not save. The sliding door to the back patio could not be fully closed and had a "MacGyver" style lock that had us worried. We informed front desk about this the first night, but nothing happened during our stay. Smart tv in the living room. Free black coffee in the common area. To our surprise their is a $10 surcharge fee to use the BBQ grill during a 2 hour period. Coin operated washer and dryer and ice machine. We would definitely returned but NOT to room 17.
- Whitney (6/5): - Location is great. The apartment could be a cleaner.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property is nice with the big gazebo and free black coffee. Only thing is to put 1 more bbq pit. But they help us with a bigger one. Planning to go back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very peacefull and safe. Great to spent time with family.
- Alondra (8/5): - People were really nice and the environment was calm.
- David (8/5): - Great value, nice genuine people at front desk. Attentive, quick response to small problem in the room. Kitchen and sofa bed, adds a lot.
- Leroy (6/5): - Good for a one day stay
- Erica (10/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful, explained everything clearly. Facility was clean, housekeeping did a great job. The apartments are nice, a bit outdated but comfortable. The AC units and TV are newer and work well, kitchen area with microwave and fridge so you can save by buying your own food and snacks. 10 min drive to the beach, a bit secluded but close enough to main attractions. I would definitely recommend renting a car if staying here. Free parking is a plus. Overall it’s a great place to stay if you are looking for something comfortable and affordable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This place is fine for budget-conscious vacationers. The staff are attentive and work to keep the place in good condition.
That being said, I was surprised and disappointed to find there is no hot water. Like many private residences, your shower will be ambient temperature - figure about 78F. This place is not really walkable, so plan to rent a car and obviously, it is nowhere near any beach
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Not easy to find, but exactly what we like, quiet area with privacy.
Very clean.
- Amanda (6/5): - First upon check in the owner tried to get us to pay an extra $200 for our kids and claims kids were extra of which it doesn't say anywhere about this, and on expedia website states children are welcome and stay free. When I showed him this he said we wouldn't have to pay. it's a very clean place no bugs however needs a bit of updating. The pool is ice cold and with the wind it's too chilly to swim in, would recommend he get a pool heater for it. The couch in the room was very old and it was barely a mattress it was so worn and old, the doors need to be updated not very secure.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Checkin was unsatisfactory. No welcome greeting just plain cold behavior.
- joyce (8/5): - The price was reasonable for aruba unfortunately there were not any restaurants in the area
- Katelynn (10/5): - Because of a lot of mishap-type incidents throughout the day we didnt end up hetting to Aruba until 11pm and the fact that we got lost for another hour on a supposedly 12 minute drive, we finally were able to make it but not until after midnight when the office was supposed to be closed at 8pm. The on-site security guard actually recognized us and said he had the keys and everything waiting for us! Also, unexpectedly there was a back porch patio as part of our room. Kitchen was fully stocked. They cleaned and replaced the towels while we were out. They even offered us tin foil when we ended up having to wrap some extra food up. There is also a communal outside kitchen back behind the pool. Overall very nice hotel.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - At midnight we lost energy power in our appartment in one room so the air conditioning stop and there was no one at the frontdesk to help us out.we slept in the heat all night.and the light also was not working.we had a very bad night.i want my money back.
- Frederick (8/5): - I loved the pool amd the views they cleaned the room forme every day.
- Peter (8/5): - Happy they accommodate our earlier check in. A C working great. Happy to stay for a couple of days.
- Pete (8/5): - Very spacious, good bed, nice size kitchen.nice size pool.need car, price is right. Housekeeping daily.
- william (8/5): - bed very uncomfortable HARD LIKE A ROCK COUCH TO LOW TO GROUND
- Leo (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff
- Clarenda (8/5): - Quite neigbourhood. Spacious rooms
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not close to the beach - Wasn't what I expected the ad says something totally different
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good hotel for the price. Rooms well equipped with a full kitchen.
- Lawrence (10/5): Our Aruba stay 2018 - We were pleasantly surprised but this resort. Very clean , comfortable and quiet. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for an affordable stay in Aruba.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - good appartment for short stay. Relax and chill area
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and quite in a nice residential neighborhood. Close to all the beaches.
- Michel (10/5): Stay in Aruba 17-23 April 2018 - Really enjoyed the place. A nice small apartment that allows you to live the experience of being a local resident. A different and nice way to travel and discover the place and the people.
- Franklin (10/5): Good hotel - Good staffs clean pool, Landry machine, coffe machine
- vane (10/5): Great customer service - Super clean , great customer service .
The property is impecable, the staff is friendly, is super quiet and safe.
- Peggy (8/5): Loved it! - Loved it overall, quiet place and a couple of minutes away from the city and airport
- Jean Marie (8/5): Short stay at Punto Di Oro - The apartment is a little far from the beach, and well, from just about everywhere a vacationer would want to go: restaurants, grocery store, beach, etc. You will end up renting a car for at least part of your stay, which they do make easy for you.
- Corina (8/5): A place to rest after spending the day at the beac - This was in a pretty good.location less than 10 minutes to the beach. Close to lots of grocery options. The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed anything.
- Whitbourne (10/5): Supervisor Travels - This hotel gets better each time. I stay here most of the time that I travel for business in Aruba.
- David (8/5): - Aside from the hot water only lasting a few mins , I enjoyed our stay , close to downtown and the shopping area and a few kilometers from the beaches . It what it says it is , good for the price too
- Dave (6/5): Okay place to stay - When original reservation was made through Expedia we had requested an upstairs room. When we arrived we had a lower floor room. When I inquired about getting the upstairs room there was a note on the reservation showing the request for the upstairs but it was given away and I was originally told they couldn't change it. Another staff member was able to give us the option for an upstairs room the following day. After a day at the beach I had asked my wife to get a clean towel. When she inquired she was told we were only allowed 1 towel per person per day. I went to the front desk myself and after some discussion my dirty towel was replaced with a clean towel. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not but after this point we didn't have any more warm water for the kitchen or showers. The kitchen sink had no drain stopper, when I inquired about this I was told if there wasn't one there then there wasn't one. We had to boil water in the kettle to have hot water to do dishes.
Pros: building, pool and yard were pleasing
hotel staff were pleasant and helpful
area was quiet and clean
free coffee (only) machine available
Cons: no hot water (only warm)
only permitted one towel a day
rooms comfortable for a short stay, found beds a bit hard for us
language barrier with some of the staff
breakfast available on site was not for our taste
- MAYPA (10/5): 1st time to Aruba - Being our 1st visit to Aruba on our 1st Anniversary on Valentine's Day was the most lovely and wonderful experience me and my fiance could of experienced. For those people that love the sun and at the same time have a lovely breeze blowing this is the island to go to.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good place to stay if you rather spend your money on better things because we would only go there to sleep. Horrible WiFi, hopefully they can improve that.
- Judy (6/5): Basic and inexpensive - Far away from beautiful beaches. Kitchen was lacking some basics - had to ask for coffee maker, flipper, can opener. Pool was extremely cold - not enjoyable. Lounge chairs very uncomfortable. Bed was very comfortable, nice linens. If the pool had been warmer, I would have rated this hotel higher.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - We spent just a night but it was good. Thank you
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
- Nancy (10/5): Excellent place to stay in Aruba! - This was a wonderful place to stay. If you don't want to stay at a hotel on the beach but want to be near it all then this is your place! You need a car for most of what you'd want to do as cabs are pricey. This hotel rents cars...it is best to reserve one a head of time depending on when you are going. It is a short drive to anywhere you would want to go. A short walk gets you to a lovely little local place to eat called Saco...we had the best chicken sandwich ever! We also ordered a whole chicken with rice and yucca to heat up on Christmas day. The hotel had a BBQ that you could reserve that we used to warm it up. The staff were friendly, helpful and answered emails in a quick manner. The pool was nice but cold, the beds were comfy, the room was clean, there was a grocery store a short walk away. We had two bedrooms with queen size beds and their own washroom. Would definitely stay here again.
- omar (10/5): Nice hotel - It was nice to stay at this hotel, clean room, big areas and tv, good to have wifi , I will recomend this hotel, also the price was excellent .
