- Dale (8/5): - The room was booked as having a king sized bed, although it was probably a queen instead. And, the bed was uncomfortable. Also, the room was small and felt cramped, although it was a fair to good value for the geographical area.
- Janice (6/5): Pests - Staff was very nice. Room was quiet, bed comfortable, nice tv, air conditioner worked great. But there was a dead bug in the bathroom floor and I killed 2 spiders in the tub. Water in shower wasn’t very warm either.
- Christine (6/5): Overpriced - The room was adequate but overpriced for its condition. The room was dated and smelled. Air conditioner vents were under the window curtain so did a poor job circulating air in the room, but I did sleep comfortably and it served its purpose.

The carpets were filthy throughout the building, the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke, and the surfaces in the room were grimy and dirty. If the next option wasn’t 20+ miles away, I woud never stay here again.

Stayed on the office side, ground floor room, liked that, as didn't have to drag suitcases & all up stairs. Liked that the toilet/shower was separate from sink & mirror. Very simple room, but clean! Had hangers, iron,& board, blow dryer, 3 drawer dresser, t.v. with good amount of channels, soaps, shampoo. 1 end table between 2 queen beds, but was a nice size one. Refrig with small freezer, microwave, coffee maker that uses sealed filters with coffee in them( which i had brought my own coffee pods & couldnt use.) Loved the big full length mirror! Good lighting, 1 table lamp, 1 standing lamp, & overall ceiling light. The manger was very friendly & accommodating. Changed things for me twice, as plans had changed for us, with no problems. Only thing I can complain about was the bath towels were small& thin. Loved that there's a Restaurant just walking distance from hotel( I think called Hwy Restraunt) very good food, family type! Excellent Big tenderloins( we shared one)! I would stay there again!

- LYNN (10/5): Fantastic - Upon arriving at the hotel it appeared to definitively a dated property. It could use a bit of exterior updates. However entering the room we found it to be surprisingly large. The room was among the cleanest and well kept we have stayed at. The staff was helpful and very professional. We definitely recommend this hotel very highly.

- Janice (6/5): Disappointing - Disappointing. Not horrible but not good. It was definitely overpriced for what you got. To access the pool you have to cross a four lane highway. Not close to the lake and doesn't have a good view at all. A bit run down and definitely a no frills place not a stop for a fun holiday weekend that is for sure. Beds uncomfortable, in fact we left a day early because the accommodations were less than stellar. Don't recommend and won't stay here again.

- Alison (8/5): Great Value Stay - I feel like this was a bargain. The door to our room was difficult to open and the bathroom door was difficult to close, but everything was clean and comfortable. Thick walls meant that I didn't hear commotion from other rooms, it was easy to get things from our car to the room. Overall, I was very pleased with the stay and the service.

- David (6/5): Regular rooms ok, pet rooms the worst ever. - Staying in the rooms with the pool was ok. The rooms were ok. My son stayed in a pet room and it was filthy. Blood stains, cigarette burns ans easily the worse room we ever stayed in. Beware! Not only that it was 133 for the night. Wow, just wow
- Kim (8/5): Good Stay - I found my room to be exceptionally clean. The bathroom was very clean as was the bedding and towels. The bed and pillows were good. My only suggestion would be that the furniture and chairs are really old and uncomfortable, might be time to invest in new. I just sat on the bed. The hotel is dated but the people are friendly, its clean, fair price and its right next to the Highway Restaurant which had excellent food, you got a lot of food and it was at a fair price (highly recommend).

- Carol (8/5): Adequate for what we needed. - The hotel is modest but clean. The air conditioner works fine. We use the end room microwave and dorm size refrigerator constantly. Housekeeping was uneven. The only thing that was done was to occasionally empty trash and give us clean towels almost every day. We were there eight days. The beds were never changed or made up. We did all our own bedmaking. But it was quiet at night. And we got the rest we needed. The sitting area outside our room was a plus.
- Chris (6/5): - There really is no other choice for a hotel in this town in fact there is no other choice but what it looks like on the Internet is nothing what it looks like in person. Spending $90 for a night in a hotel like that is definitely not worth it. It should be more like $60. It’s all one level with outside door access that your drive up to. There are absolutely no amenities. If you want to watch TV you have to go through one channel and then it’s 30 sub channels before you get to the next one and there’s no guide. The beds are horrible and the sheets are from like 1960, they are all man-made and very hot. I did like the pillows though, those were comfortable but for a king size bed they don’t give you enough. All in all, I can’t say it was horrible but it definitely was not worth $90. At least I didn’t see any cockroaches or any bedbugs so that’s a plus as well .

Staff was friendly, and accommodating. Furniture was outdated, which I don't mind. It is more important that the room is clean as it was..The recliner. Was broke (it wouldn't recline). The charge for tge hotel room is way to much. Iam hoping you will refund a partial charge.

- Steven (8/5): - Property is on both South and North sides of Hwy 34; you must check in at South building and then our room was in the North building. Pool is ONLY in the North building. Pets are ONLY allowed in SMOKING rooms, eww. We stayed in the bunk house rooms, 1 queen and 3 bunks, it was okay. The bunks are in a separate area but there is no door and the walls do not go to the ceiling. The top bunk can watch the queen beds TV over the short wall. Room was clean, carpet was older, bed was firm and low quality but did the job. For one night with middle school children it worked well so no one had to share a bed besides parents.

When we arrived signs on the building for check in was across the street.Upon check in the clerk did not greet us. Said very little she was very young, but should have been taught the basics of customer service. She did not tell us where our room was located. We had to search for it. Found out it was on the second floor. Also when we were headed to the breakfast buffet listed as one of the amenities we were told by housekeeping that the buffet was shut down permanently. When we went to turn in keys upon check told the clerk about the non existence of the breakfast buffet he told us it had been closed for a year and denied it was on the website. He said prove to me it's says breakfast is provided and I will compensate you. It's clearly listed on both Expedia and trip advisor. I am from albia and never have encountered such blatant dishonesty and apathetic behavior. We will never recommend staying there to anyone.

I realized that I paid nearly double then I should of for a not so great room.,...I mean it doesn't even latch and lock. In my line of work the maintenance at this hotel is in need of some solid elbow grease (meaning some strenuous work) but overall great location and small town feeling.not here bashing them load we all know understaffed is a real big problem in today society.

Turned out, they did honor the expedia rate, the room was clean and we parked our dog crate outside the door. (The manager walked passed our room several times to be sure) Glad we were only there 1 night.

- Todd (8/5): - Nice pool. Restaurant attached and a bar for drinks reasonably priced.
- Lisa (10/5): - Clean room, easy check in. Just in town for deer season and needed a place to crash. Would recommend, and would stay again.
- James (2/5): Poor customer service - they could not find my reservation so I had to pay again. The clerk tossed the receipt at me. Told me my room number and said it was across the street. She did not tell me how to find the room or parking until I asked. She sat the map on the counter for me to look at but did tell me anything else. Finally, I just left, I will figure it out.

- Gordy (8/5): - Just a neat, little joint that fills all my needs.
- Sterling (8/5): - One of my room was having power outages and I reported to the front desk. The girl was answering the phone said that the person in charge was out. When they return, they will come over to check(this is around 10 PM). No one comes back even until I left next morning at 11:30 am.
- Rebecca (4/5): Outdated. - I won't be staying here again.
- Renee (8/5): Pool should be easier to access for all rooms. - Overall it's a nice place to stay, staff is very helpful & understanding. Two properties are across highway from each other, & we unknowingly booked in one without the pool. Desk clerk did find rooms across highway, but two queen beds we needed were only available upstairs. We booked on main floor due to husband's knee issues, was no elevator to compensate. First upstairs room was very nice & spacious. Ended up staying an extra night, new room on main floor was very small with only double beds. Pool and hot tub are excellent, facility overall is very nice place. Disappointed that there was no continental breakfast and restaurant next door was closed, but area restaurants were excellent.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - We stay here quite a bit. It wasn't as good as usual. We had problems with the heat. But will stay again.
- Alex (8/5): - I enjoyed the “older” hotel feel. I however did not like the front office being staffed in the mornings. Went to check out and no one was available to help. Wound up leaving the room key in the mail box
- Richard (4/5): - When we checked in the heater unit only produced cool air. We tried to increase the temperature with the touch controls and nothing happened. We called management and complained. The manager and his family came to the room and found out that the unit was defective. He gave us two options: either move to another room or he would replace the unit. we chose to have the unit replaced as we as well as the manager were in our pajamas. It took the manager about 15 minutes to replace the unit. The replaced unit was found to be very noisy, which resulted in no sleep that night. The motel was found to be very outdated.
- Katheleen (10/5): Bar was closed on Saturday night, I arrived 10 pm - I was very happy with the room, it was clean, it had everything I needed, hair dryer, coffee pot, soap, iron and board, a place to hang clothes, a rocker recliner, TV, I got the queen one bed room, I slept very well. I got a room across from the pool and hot tub, nice. My only complaint is, I reserved a room here because it had a bar, I wanted a drink after a long drive, I got there at 10 pm on a Saturday night, when I asked the desk clerk where the bar was the clerk told me the bar was closed, Sunday morning the restaurant was not open either but there is a very good restaurant right next door.

- Cody (4/5): - Our room was not a poolside room, it was across the highway in another building. Parking area was so full of potholes and poor drainage that it was flooding and you had to step in 4 inch deep water to get in and out of your vehicle. Rooms are very outdated. Wife and I woke up both mornings with bites up and down our legs. I couldnt find bedbugs, but with the bites being localized to our legs, they might be fleas bites. Lady that checked us in late friday night, however was wonderful.
- Liz (8/5): - Nothing unique. It was clean. Bed was comfortable. What you would expect for a small town. The vending machine was almost empty. With everything around closing at 9pm it would have been nice if they kept that stocked. Coffee pot in room didn’t work

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Their "Key" computer went down before we got there so they could not give us a key to our Rooms nor to outer doors for Bldg access. When we left our room and /or the bldg we would have to call for someone from mgmt to come let us in!!! What a pain--the help did their best to respond promptly but it was a very tedious procedure for us to egress and ingress THE ROOMS...

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and relaxing and family friendly area and place, city too. Good food at local restaurants. Need to update the payday candy bars in the vending machine though in the Inn.
