Guest Reviews
- Fikasari (10/5): - The location is quiet. The room is clean and well-maintained. It's close to the restaurant and the restaurant has amazing foods. We ordered pasta and grilled chicken. Parking available right in front of the room. Anyways, we chose this because it's just 30 minutes drive from Niagara Falls with reasonable room price and it didn't disappoint.
- Jill (6/5): - We could see that there was recent updates to the floors and bathroom which was nice. Window curtains needed a paper clip to hold them shut and floor felt like sand was not swept up.
- Tommy (8/5): - .
- Chester (8/5): - Well priced, clean hotel with friendly staff.
In the evening while sitting in front of my room I was approached by a big brown friendly dog (probably owner's) and that made my day.
- Heather (8/5): - We had no issues with our stay. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Awful smell
- tiffany (8/5): - We were just looking for a basic room for the night and this is what we got. Area was quiet and peaceful and a quick drive away from the lake. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms have been recently renovated and were quite nice. Our only concern is the bathroom floors while quite nice to look at were incredibly slippery once wet. I would be very cautious when entering and exiting the showers. Over all the rooms were exactly what a weary traveler would need in a no frills stay.
- Arash (10/5): - We staid one night and it was very good. The room was renovated and had all we needed. Bed were comfortable and clean. Rooms had fridge, microwave, AC, cable.
- Iavor (8/5): - good and reasonable cheap place in quiet area.
- Janice (8/5): - The Restaurant looks very good although we didn’t try it.
Our room (most likely the”honeymoon suite” was very nice, clean - spacious, king size bed, jacuzzi tub and fireplace, very quiet for a Saturday night in the summer.
- Shawn (2/5): Drug den - The room was clean and neat, but the smell of guests smoking meth in the adjoining room made it unliveable, so I left and went somewhere else.
- marie (8/5): - Service was good no coffee in room and resturant didnt open early enough. Only 9ne chair. But overall ok
- Beverly (10/5): - We were travelling from a far distance and this was an emergency trip. We foung this motel which more than met our needs. It was meticulously clean and the owner was very nice and pleasant. It was quiet and we agreed that we could stay there if travelling to the area again.
It is not a fancy but we enjoyed the quiet as well. The motel sits away from town, but has a restaurant which unforutnately time worked against us and we did not use it, but it looked very inviting. There is also a gas station next to it. Defintiley would stay there again.
- Brendan (8/5): - Room to be cleaned daily. Soap and Shampoo stocked daily.
- Patti (4/5): - The first room I had smelled like smoke. The next room they gave us, the bathroom door did not close unless you pushed and pulled it very hard.
- Dorin (10/5): - All good
- Glenn (10/5): - We booked a "last-minute" room for the Apr. 8/24 Total Eclipse of the Sun. This is a "Highway Motel," but the Owner keeps it in excellent condition - and the adjacent Restaurant serves EXCEPTIONALLY good food. "Country Portions," piled high on the plate and DELICIOUS. Thanks to the Wainfleet, I got to see a Total Eclipse I'd waited 63 years to view. HIGHLY recommended.
- Mansi (10/5): - I absolutely loved the fact that this motel was super clean and new on the inside. The renovations done in the washroom were also very nicely done. I liked the clean bedsheets, new mattress and new pillows. The washroom was also very beautifully built with a new floor and new bathtub which made the whole experience of staying here even more worthwhile. I will definitely be coming back to stay here whenever I am in this area and will recommend this to my family and friends.
- Zeel (2/5): - Poor facilities
- Corey (10/5): - Great place to stat
- Andrea (8/5): - Renovated rooms. Retro microwave and mini fridge. The shower is a walk-in and the head was a rainfall however the water pressure could use a boost. The owners were friendly. The room could’ve used paint touch ups as there were chunks missing from previous guests. Even though newly renovated there are other updates that was overlooked. The owner was receptive when informed. All in all it was a good value for the price.
- jeff (2/5): - Very bad place stay away
- Paul (10/5): - The property looks outdated outside from the road.
Pool was open and clean. Rooms are clean and neat. Bathroom was updated and looked not just clean but new.
- Greg (10/5): - I had a nice stay here! Newly renovated room. Quiet and a comfortable bed. The check in was smooth. The owner even had a burger made from his restaurant when I requested it when it was very close to closing. Good place to stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - second year staying here would do it again close to dunville welland and port colborne clean rooms and sat. tv.
- Jean-Marie (8/5): Would stay again. - This is a decent hotel with basic amenities. The owner is friendly and accommodating. The place was clean although older. The bed and room were comfortable.
The attached restaurant has excellent food at reasonable prices.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Poor Front Desk Service - The booking was fine. Got confirmation number.
However when I went to check in at 16:30 there was no one at the front desk and the restaurant was not open. Only from leaving a phone message did someone get back to tell me were the key was left. I got into my room around 18:30. Check out was similar problem of no one at the front desk to receive the key back. The restaurant was open for breakfast.
- Barbara (8/5): Reasonable - Clean, friendly staff, great food at restaurant. Beds very comfortable and quiet for sleeping. Great Price inline for outdated decor.
- Paul (10/5): - Wonderful experience! The staff went out of their way at every turn to make me feel welcome and to make my stay comfortable. The food at the restaurant was served quickly and tasted fresh and well cooked.
- Verified traveler (2/5): poor - run down and unclean and sketchy
after viewing our room ( and paying for it) we left to find other lodgings
the pictures on this site are so not accurate!
suggest you do not go here to stay
