Georgene (2/5): - First of all, I have to say I would rate this as a one plus hotel, Trevor lost City charged me a lot of money. The guy at the front desk told me they went out their rooms for $75 I reserved a room with two queen beds and they gave me one queen bed. It just was really bad. There was no shampoo or soap in the room. I had to go downstairs and ask them they didn’t put any in there. I just felt very unsafe. The client tell that state at that hotel. The guy at the front desk told me I should contact Travelocity to see if I could get the difference refund refunded to me.

Once getting into the room it was really nice very clean however there was roaches everywhere. Will NOT be going back ever. We ran as fast as we could out them doors.

Crystal (4/5): Ehh - Late check in front desk reception was great but get to room it wasn’t very clean. At first glance you think it wasn’t ready for a new guest. Absolutely no curtain I know a weird thing to complain over, but then there was the bed. I personally had to make it. I know again weird complaint but I was so exhausted just wanted to sleep. But had to do it myself I actually just tossed the sheets on the side of the bed said skrew it and slept on the mattress I couldn’t bring myself to make the bed. If you miss your turn you’re located right into a 420 hotel better make sure you get the correct turn. Advertise breakfast but no breakfast.
Lani (2/5): Pay the extra for better or travel the extra miles - Homeless people all around the area, residence, sitting outside partying, and roach infestation in the rooms. The only positive experience was the young guy who checked me in who was very honest when I asked if it was a safe area, which he stated it wasn’t but better than some of the other areas. This place is more for people who are living there which probably contributes to the roach infestation. I was told a lot of the people staying there had been there for years.
Cirilo (2/5): Don’t Step Into This Place - Stopped here on the way to driving our daughter to Tennessee for college. The hotel didn’t look anything like the photos. First off the employee was very unprofessional and not helpful. She wasn’t at all friendly during check-in and I had come back to ask her for bar soap as there were none left in the room. It took her 15-20 mins to provide bar soap which was 15-20 seconds of her time to get up and help me. In regards to the room it was disgusting and unpleasant. The room was not properly cleaned. The bath tub was dirty, the room was filled with dust and hair everywhere. I had killed 2 bugs and a cockroach in the room. We were so tired and disgusted that we just slept a few hours and left early morning without even showering. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay in such a disgusting hotel.

Mike (6/5): Find a better option - Pictures are great, in person, not so much. A lot of people hanging out in parking lot, homeless people camped out next door, feels more like a half way house than a hotel. Hallways smelled like weed being smoked. While room was clean, it was somewhat beat up and it was a bit noisy due to location, I would not stay here again, definitely not with a family. Seems like type of hotel where people live at. I could have stayed at a Ramada with a pool for just a few more dollars.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by my six-legged concierge skittering across the floor—truly a warm welcome. The roaches here aren’t just pests, they’re residents. I think I even saw one with a tiny suitcase checking in ahead of me. They’ll keep you company in the bathroom, the bed, and if you’re lucky, your suitcase too—so you can take the experience home! Room service? Forget it. But roach service? Constant and complimentary. They’re active, social, and clearly have no respect for personal space—like little crackhead tour guides showing you every corner of the room. Honestly, I came for a vacation and left with PTSD and a newfound fear of the dark. 10/10 would recommend if you’re trying to feel like you’re camping… indoors. 👌

I reserved a room king bed on the first floor, and I was given her full size bed one on the fourth floor! I’m hoping I’ll get my deposit back but that’ll be here to be seen! I’m not a happy camper and I will never stay there again!!

Noise all night from the top floor. Was unable to sleep. They make the check in super long when that effort should be placed on updating facility. Definitely not what the pictures show. Chose this place since it was just an overnight stay, but I would have been better off sleeping in my car just didn't because my husband stoppped me from doing so. We left as soon as the sun rised. Don't recommend this place at all.

M. Lynette (2/5): - While this property had availability and was booked through Expedia, it was gravely misrepresented. Upon checking in during the day around 12 noon, it seemed semi-okay. However, that night I was severely bitten up by bed bugs. The next morning, when I was charged $5 dollars for new sheets...after 3 days, the roaches in the elevators and common areas were enough. However, this hotel REFUSED to refund me for the remainder of my monthly stay and I have been forced to go to small claims court.

After driving 12 hours all I wanted to do was take a shower, instead I was completely dumbfounded to find out that this establishment is under new management hence the lack of competency from the previous management left me with no towels and no soap or shampoo. Absolutely ridiculous to think that this is somehow acceptable. I understand that this is not a five star or even a three star establishment, but for crying out loud are they serious NO TOWELS and I’m not talking about extra towels, I’m talking NO TOWELS. I will absolutely never stay at Wood Springs Albuquerque again, I’d rather sleep in my car.

alfredo (2/5): - I had a very bad experience in this hotel. It was one of the worst ones that I’ve ever stayed at before. The room that I had initially gotten was a non-smoking one bedroom room and the front desk clerk had to go inside my room to check if no one was there when I arrived and then he proceeded to open the window to let it air out because it smelled like someone had just smoked a cigarette in there and then my front door wouldn’t close all the way my window wouldn’t shut properly And my AC didn’t work as well so I do not recommend staying at this hotel. Find yourself another place there are plenty of places in Albuquerque.

Verified traveler (4/5): - It was easy to check in. There was quite a few homeless people hanging around the building. There was a drug deal happening a few vehicles down from ours. The hallways smelt so bad like weed, smoke, and a mixture of people cooking food. The rooms were fairly clean but we did see a few cockroaches. I would not recommend staying here.

I guess you get what you pay for! On a positive note, the front desk clerk was awesome! He was very friendly, helpful, and understanding! We really appreciated that!

Verified traveler (4/5): Not really recommended - The room so dirty, I even found like 5 cockroach pass around living room or bathroom. The floor so dirty like never been cleaned and even the bed cover blanket all make my skin itchy. I do told the staff she just said will tell the cleaner and don’t even say sorry but the one who checking me in is so helpful.

Verified traveler (2/5): Security and Cleanliness Is a Problem - This was the only available hotel to me in Albuquerque due to a large international event that weekend. I wish I would have known ahead that this was not in the best part of the city. The staff during check-in was rude and unpleasant. I made reservation for three nights but had to leave early and they refused to reimburse me for the night(s) I was not going to be staying. It was not hotel policy to do that, they claimed. It was late in the afternoon and had been driving 7 hours, so I decide to stay the night anyway. While at the front desk, another guest was there and was complaining that the room that they were just assigned was totally unclean when they went in the room. Their elevator was filthy and smelled bad. Long story short, that evening just before midnight multiple loud gunshots woke me out of bed. Scared the crap out me!! Someone was shot in the parking lot in front of the only entrance to the front office. From the window of my room on the 4th floor, I saw multiple police officer with guns draw arrest and handcuffed 2 people. An ambulance later arrived and loaded a victim (dead or dying?) and transported to a hospital, I assume. So, I packed up and prepared to check out as soon as the police officials were done with their crime scene investigation and allowed guest to leave. At 3AM I went down to the front office to check out, I was NOT staying there any longer than I needed!! This hotel has some very serious security issues for their guests.
Becky (4/5): - This place appears to be a halfway house or voucher living. We arrived there people out front with dogs and tobacco or other smoking material. The property is rundown and evidence of vandalism and wire theft are readily seen. Someone sat in their car with the lights on outside our room all night. We probably would not stay there again and would have left if it wasn’t paid for upfront.
NATALIE (4/5): Worst place we ever stayed - Paid too much for this dormatory type room that we stayed in. No coffee maker in the room. Wasn't a pleasant stay. This type of Suites shouldn't be called hotel. Very disappointed.
Janet (2/5): - My worst ever hotel experience. Had a red stain on the floor and mattress was upside down. We turned it over and there was a red stain about 6” round and several smaller stains. Mattress was covered. We were given a new room with a plastic bag on the smoke detector. At midnight there was a gun fight outside (8 shots fired). Cops came quick & arrested 2; someone taken away in an ambulance.

Daniel (6/5): Interesting - Very interesting stay. First night was awakened bt the fire alarm and subsequent evacuation of the hotel. But everyone was in good spirits and laughing about it, so that kept me from being bothered by it. Once i went back in to my room, i noticed the roaches in my room. Counted seven in total. Killed them all and didnt see any after. Then everything went fine til my last night where i ended up parking away from the doors and the toolbox of my truck was broken into. Lost a good socket set, some cheap ryobi tools, and some other tools. By lost i mean stolen, but whatever. Front desk eas very apologetic about it but couldnt offer much help. And i understand. Company policy and whatnot. They were very good, from the metal head in maintenance to the young front man having to deal with unruly guest and the policem. All of thr front desk people were beyond professional and very very friendly and helping.
