The parking lot tickets were well explained by staff but didn’t work. No water bottle fillers on upper floors. Water pressure was awful and the shower head (in room 403) was not working correctly. Construction noise was wild! But the staff explained it clearly and it stopped at the promised time so that didn’t factor into my scores.

This hotel was above and beyond my expectations. They made my experience feel like I was the most popular person in the nation. Nothing was disliked. I would have enjoyed a bench or two outside the main entrance to enjoy the beautiful weather (but this is just my opinion).

- Kristen (10/5): - Convenient location to everything in downtown Appleton. The rooms are nice and quiet even though the hotel is on a main street and the parking is convenient. The only things that could improve the hotel for the price would be if the hotel identifies a new spa operator and repairs the whirlpool and if they offered water and breakfast.

This is my home away from home when I go to Appleton Wisconsin I wish you had more of a breakfast option. Like one of the restaurants was open for breakfast. That would be my only thing.

Also part of the reason I booked this hotel was for the fireplace in the room but the way the room is situated, you could not see/enjoy it (at the very foot of the bed).

- Gary (9/5): Very nice place and staff was excellent location in downtown is a bit noisy - Clean and well maintained. Room was very nice. Two things. First, the room is noisy all the time. We were on the top floor and it was like we heard creaking and water-dropping sounds from above us. At night it makes it hard to sleep. Second is the location. It’s ok but the constant motorcycles running up and down College Ave with them revving their engines to the max constantly is irritating. I realize the hotel can’t do anything about that but it is unfortunate. It detracts from an otherwise excellent experience.

My husband and I have been coming here for years and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere with the spa but now its going to be hard to decide which hotel we go to because the Hilton across the street still has the same conveniences as the Copper leaf but has a pool, Starbucks and a cheaper restaurant on site. The robes in the rooms did add to the relaxation aspect of the hotel.
