Guest Reviews
- Travis (10/5): - I've stayed at this hotel for years. Especially when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s. It is not a 5-star place, but has value compared to similar places in Wildwood.
- Bowen (10/5): - The place was nice
- HENRY J (4/5): - Our rom was so small you bumped into the furniture to move around. The place is old and could use a remodeling.
- Patricia (10/5): - Clean - friendly staff - close to everything
- Conor (6/5): - we had no actual comforter, it was just two flat sheets with a soft blanket. and our shower was next to our bed outside the bathroom
- Angel (10/5): - It was good
- Jacquelyn (10/5): Clean, Great Location, Cost Effective - Great location to the boardwalk - clean and easy - would book again.
- Amber (8/5): - Very convenient affordable motel, everything is pretty much walking distance. It’s your basic motel, rooms are small but clean :)
- David (10/5): - Staff and location were excellent. Clean, comfortable bed, hot water. Thats all I need!
- Douglas (10/5): - I said excellent because of price and location. No issues. Just be prepared to manage where to park. You might have to ask the staff which parking area to use. Also you won't get anything more than an ice machine outside your room. 2 blocks from the boardwalk where most of the good stuff begins.
- carlos (8/5): - Close location to the piers
- Joe (10/5): - Hotel was perfect for our 2 nights stay. Yes room is small, but for just the 2 of us it was sufficient. Beds comfortable, a/c worked great, and shower was good. Location was great just several hundred feet from boardwalk.
- tom (6/5): - A stones throw from the boardwalk and Morey's Pier. Sketchy people hanging out in front & back because they LIVE there. No security at all & not a safe vibe. Some family was washing their pitbull in the beach shower in back when I arrived, this isnt typical. Non guests & random people in and out the back door give the place a "youth hostel" experience, with locals mixing with guests dynamic. I wanted to get close to boardwalk so we could enjoy the family space but this motel Isnt focused on that being across from two bars. Overall, If you're in you're a hard drinker, this is it. Only upside is I saved $ compared to national brand hotel 1-block over when I rebooked - kinda skeezy feel here tho. The building in & outside is very old (musty window AC) & parking is 1-room, 1-car but seems like its short all the time, we drove around & had to wait for non-tag holders to vacate. No Pool & open doors explains the bug problem. I will NEVER book again
- Roseanne (10/5): - Good expweiwnce
- Dean (8/5): - Very Close to the beach.
Quiet.
- Irina (10/5): - Bed is good. Clean, comfortable.
Good to have air conditioner, microwave and refrigerator.
- Helen (10/5): - There was a mixup with my reservation. The staff were lovely and helpful and it got sorted. The room is small. AC worked very well. Less than a block from the Boardwalk.
- Audrey (2/5): - Do not stay here!! The rooms are tiny- the AC is a window unit and is super loud. Above all, we did not feel safe in the area at night. There was a bar across the street playing loud music till late, people dancing and hanging in the street. I asked the front desk clerk if the back door (leading to a dark alley) would be locked at night so people cannot enter the hotel and he replied that it stays open all night so people can come and go, and I don’t have to worry about safety because there’s deadbolts on the room doors. This did not make me feel secure at all. I express my unease, esp traveling with a young child. The parking lot is very narrow with limited parking, if there are no spots, you are forced to park in a separate lot a block away, which is also very dark. Was never so happy to check out and never look back. Again, not a family friendly area. Even the main door in front always remains open and drifters are in and out all day/night.
- Gene (8/5): - Key West Motel is about a 1/2 block from the beach. Receptionist was very nice and personable.
- Philip (10/5): - Clean and comfortable
- Erin (10/5): - Great atmosphere and wasn’t bothered entire time
- Ashlynn (10/5): - Every one was super friendly, there was a day where housekeeping forgot us, but Debbie was very nice and fix it very quickly. It was a great location!
- Gianna (10/5): - Honestly very great price for the room, very friendly staff and great location right off the third boardwalk.
- Richard (10/5): - This is a great little place to stay right at the boardwalk. The rooms are very small but clean and comfortable.
- Ricardo (2/5): - Rooms to small
- Nicole (8/5): - We needed more pillows for the bed and towels. I would have liked some counter space at the bathroom sink but overall out stay was good.
- Holly (10/5): - It was great. A little outdated but otherwise great!
- Richard (8/5): - Parking very tight, beyond that? Stayed here twice, exactly as advertised. Small but nice room, very pleasant staff, will be happy to stay again
- Kyoun (10/5): - No frills, but if you're going to be out with the family most of the day anyway, an excellent value for the money. Short one block away from middle of the boardwalk.
- Trevon (10/5): - literally a block from the boardwalk. very clean and quiet. will definitely be back!
- Ramona (10/5): Great spot - The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was small but to be expected. Location was fabulous!! Will be back next year!!
- Tyler (10/5): - Well kept and quiet
- Lori (6/5): Great staff - The room was small, bathroom was outdated, carpet in the room felt sticky/dirty, ac was too cold (even when turned down) I’m guessing because the room being so small. Staff was super friendly no problems there. Parking was ok small lot. Plus side is that it’s super close to the beach and boardwalk.
- Wesley (10/5): - Very nice room
- Stacy (8/5): Easy access to the boardwalk! - Stayed in a double bed with my teenage daughter and myself. Room is on the small side but clean. Staff was very nice. Place was quiet. Very close to the boardwalk!
- Carolyn (10/5): - Super close to the board walk. Rooms were super clean and everyone was nice. Rooms were a little small, but we didnt spend time in the room anyway.
- Mark (10/5): - Everything was fine
- Claire (10/5): - Small, clean, quiet motel allowed us early check in and parking. There was an outside rinse shower. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully painted. Super a c. Nice full size beds, micro wave, big refrigerator. A nice touch was a bible opened to a page on dresser. One block to boardwalk, YAYYYY!!!!!😎
- Taylor (10/5): - Awesome location close to boardwalk
- Esther (10/5): - Absolutely loved it will def come back here next time !
- Elizabeth J (10/5): - Ok
- Abdul (10/5): Great Service and Ppl - Very relaxing and peaceful, and clean. I will go there again!!
- Martine (8/5): - -
- Ed (8/5): - ok for what it is
- Robert (10/5): - Rooms are clean. GREAT PLACE FOR A ONE NIGHTER. AMERICAN Flag out front. That says a lit. Close to the boardwalk.
- Kokwai (8/5): - Next to Boardwalk. Several other motels around. Parking shared with two other motels, probably same owner. Breakfast available next door at diner.
Small room. Two beds, TV, Mini fridge, mini microwave, armor and small bathroom. No chair or table to sit or have takeout food. Window ac can be noisy. Third floor warm and needs ac on all the time.
If you want to be next to Boardwalk, this is an ideal location or one of the more expansive surrounding hotels.
- Sally (10/5): - Helping staff, Friendly staff, close to beach, close to a restaurant next door to hotel, pleasant surroundings.
- Stacey (10/5): - X
- Paul (2/5): - Do not recommend. Parking is tight. Terrible bathroom-No exhaust fan. Very small room.
- Edward (4/5): Another over prices ghetto place I. wildwood. - The room was so small…that you barely could move. The rugs, walls, etc…were dirty and did not want to touch my feet to the floor. Mold on the shower curtain and all. Just because you are in a shore location, does not need that you can not provide any service and charge a fortune for the room.
The parking issue was crazy. People parking in multiple spots, and multiple locations so I could not park close to the building at all. Had to call and meet someone at another building to find out where to park three blocks away. Maybe it is times to stop going to this event, just because of the low quality of the places to stay, at such a high cost.
- Lori (10/5): Close to boardwalk and pristeenclean! - Exellent stay,Half block from boardwalk , Super clean, comfortable bed, artic a/c. Room cleaned daily, and clean towels left . On time check-in. Highly recommend!
- Carissa (8/5): - We had a great stay at the Key West! Rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. Perfect place to rest our heads after a long day at the beach
- Michael (8/5): - Room was exceptionally clean. Close to a local diner and two blocks from the boardwalk. Small room, but it did the trick for our 4 day visit!
- Amanda (6/5): - Very basic room. Super small for 2 people! But it did the job as being the cheapest hotel we could find in Wildwood thats only 3 min walk from the beach. If u need to speak to the front desk u have to walk to the Quebec hotel which is only a 3 min walk.
- Linda (8/5): - Location was great staff was kind n helpful room was a little tight but managable had good stay
- Nicole (10/5): - Very comfortable bed . It was a small room and no pool but I was there one night it was so quiet and relaxing I went to sleep quickly.before I knew it was time to check out.keywest had that home feeling and I felt secure if the door opened an alarm went off in the room nice because I was by myself this noght
- Jackie (8/5): - Perfect for a couple getting away for the weekend. When you’re going to the beach for the weekend you don’t stay in the hotel the whole time, just need a place to sleep, use the bathroom, and clean up when you get back, room was small, but that’s all we needed. Mattress was extremely comfortable! Best mattress I’ve ever slept on in any hotel I’ve ever been at, spiel recommend for a fast weekend get away. But parking in hotel property is extremely tight but they have an additional lot around the corner
- Kristin (2/5): - No power at the property and won’t refund my money
- James (6/5): clean and quiet but minimal in amemities - If you are looking for a clean, economical hotel with convenient location to the beach/boardwalk, this is your place IF you don't plan on staying in the room except to sleep. The rooms are small and somewhat stuffy, the amenities are minimal. There is no place to hang anything to dry. As others have stated, there is no pool either. We were OK there for a week since we went to the beach all day and went out to dinner, boardwalk etc at night., however , I don't think I would stay there longer than that. I have stayed at other motels in town and this one was quiet compared to the others. My wife said she would stay there again. I'm not sure.
- Joseph (10/5): Pretty affordable and good value. - We had a good time staying here. It isn't exsctly luxurious but for the price I have zero complaints. Would stay again.
- Vitaly (6/5): - Good location but runs down property, poor service.
- Kristian (10/5): - Very nice place and resonable
- Eileen (2/5): - Room looks nothing like the pictures. It’s an older hotel that needs updating. No elevator and no air conditioning in the hallways and the parking spots were extremely tight. Only stayed one night so it wasn’t terrible. If I had to stay any longer, I would have gone to another hotel.
- Bely (6/5): - A none smoke place but they don't smoke cigarettes but drugs, not what the website states big sign at the door no smoking and this person sitting at the porch smoking no respect no rules. Tv in room Doesnt work
- Richard (8/5): - The air conditioning unit needs to be a tad bigger the room did not get as cool as we needed
- Esmerita (8/5): - Small, outdated but very clean motel in a great location.
- Edward (6/5): - The size of the room was way to small, thankfully we were only there for two days.
- Christina (8/5): - Really good
2nd time staying at this hotel
Great location
- Victor (8/5): - Had exactly what we needed for a weekend stay. Staff at check in friendly. Very close to boardwalk which made it easy to just take a quick detour and store items in our room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was very clean, however the covers were paper thin, rooms are super small, beds were hard and my tv wouldn’t stay on. Staff was friendly. Hallway was hot and sticky and the fan in my room was warped and moved so slow even tried to adjust speed. For what I paid I just expected a better experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Small Room but Convenient Location - No frills stay for our family of four on the third floor of this walk-up building. Neat and bright but a cramped room. We were happy to find it at the last minute, but it might be better suited for younger, on-the-go folks. Super convenient to restaurants and the boardwalk, though.
- jovanny (10/5): - Great motel to stay in, small but clean & has all you need for a short stay. Theres plenty of hot water, parking & its 1 block from the beach & Morley amusement park. Theres a diner in the corner that get very crowded quick so keep that in mind but if not there are plenty of other places close by to grab a bite.👍👍
- Marcos (4/5): - Definitely not worth the money they charged. Rooms are outdated.
- Zigmund (6/5): Privacy issue - The shower curtain did not cover all the way around the tub. There was a window that looked directly from the shower to two windows of the hotel next door. This was really creepy. I wound up using a towel to cover the window.
- Theodore (8/5): - They need new beds.
- Robert (10/5): - This is a classic shore hotel. I grew up I jersey and this is a great location to park and you don’t have to worry about driving the whole time. Walk to the beach, boardwalk and clubs. Family friendly and safe. Everyone was really nice. Definitely recommend if last minute and just want to spend a few nights at the beach with no hassles.
- Stephanie (8/5): - We stayed for a weekend when my daughter played field hockey on the beach. It was the most reasonable place with a location so close to the beach and boardwalk. We had the “suite” which had two bedrooms. It was nice to be separated since my daughter brought a friend; they had their own room. It was a unique set up though, walking into one bedroom, then into the bathroom to get to the other room. It’s perfect for a short stay. Staff were all super nice.
- Kirsten (6/5): - Very close to the boardwalk which was the goal. I expected a small room in a little motel and that was accurate. The only disappointment was arriving after a long trip and waiting half an hour to check in as no one was at the front counter. When she did arrive there was no apology or at minimum an acknowledgment that she had not been there. She just arrived with a chip on her shoulder (as at this point 2 more guests were waiting behind me) and checked us in. But if you want a motel close to the boardwalk for a couple of nights you can endure it. Just quite expensive for an endure.
- Georgene (8/5): - Very convenient to boardwalk
- richard (6/5): - You get what you pay for, half block from
Boardwalk and the diner on the corner is bomb. Pink Cadillac
- Edmund (10/5): - Very Nice. Near the ocean.
- Rathana (10/5): - Nice
- Rosie (10/5): - We’ll be back next summer!
- Alana (8/5): Great service - You get what you pay for. The rooms are very small but it’s very cheap to stay there. Beds were comfortable and service was great. You are steps from the boardwalk. I wouldn’t mind staying there again next time we visit wildwood.
- Jessica (6/5): It was ok - Small room for the price. The bed was uncomfortable for us, too firm. But it was decent enough for what we were there for. Will do something better if we go there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very close to the beach, on -site parking was nice. Location was prime with restaurants around every corner. Along with the staff being prompt & friendly.
- Pedro (10/5): - The room was small but had everything I needed for my short stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I was expecting more body soaps the second night because we had 4 people but they just cleaned the room and that's it nothing else. It was too late didn't think I can call anyone for that....
- Thomas (6/5): College dorm room - I would give 5 stars to the nice woman who checked my husband and I in- but The best way I can describe our room would be a bad college dorm room from the 60’s, except it had a (small, old) bath. Had a window air conditioning unit and we all know how those work. On the plus side, it was quiet and the bed was fine.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A home away from home!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Was my first time at Wildwoods the hotel is very close to the boardwalk one block away from the boardwalk so it's very close the property is clean staff is friendly I would highly recommend it to anybody
- Verified traveler (6/5): - While the room was small, and bathroom was very tight, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Location to the Boardwalk was excellent...only one block. There was supposed to be onsite parking (one vehicle per room). The first night, we were able to get the last spot, however it was very tight to get into. The second night, there was no parking available, even in the additional lot across the street. So we had to pay meter parking that night until we checked out on Sunday.
- Louis (6/5): - The hotel wasn't what i thought no pool and the rooms Re very out dated and very small
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonder neighborhood, clean and friendly
- Verified traveler (6/5): Outdated but close to everything - The rooms were small and outdated. Beds were quite firm. Easy access to the boardwalk and beaches. Nearby diners for food. Nobody from the staff on premises between 8p-10a so if you need anything you have to go to the neighboring Quebec Hotel for assistance, including checkout since that happens prior to 10am.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Rooms a bit small but other than that no complaints
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Front desk staff was nice but I think she was just filling in for someone out sick. She didn't know much about the hotel. It was 45 degrees on arrival, and they had the air conditioning on in the room. I turned it off when we got there and closed the curtains because it was raining, incredibly windy & cold outside. The air blew the curtains in through the air conditioner all night. I asked for a blanket as there was just a sheet on the bed. She brought me a thin blanket. I told her it wasn't enough due to the cold temperature and she brought me fitted fleece sheet. Still cold all night. No heaters in the rooms. Was recommended to take a hot shower to warm up but bathroom was colder than the room. Also a dead bug in the tub and a pubic hair on the edge of the tub. Small cramped room. Door rubbed edge of bed on opening, bathroom door didn't open all the way because it hit the bed. The small fridge didn't open very far(and wasn't very cold-room was colder) because it hit the bed. The TV didn't work. When I asked the front desk, she had to call someone she said was out sick who walked her through getting a few channels on the tv but by the next morning, it didn't work, again. Must be a teenager hotel because that's all we heard all evening & night, yelling, laughing & partying. We left the next morning. Refused to stay another frozen night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Didn't expect much for the price, but door would not lock, and shower took like 10 minutes to turn on, then it would not turn off
- Theresa (4/5): Very Small - Rooms are extremely small, flat pillows, room didn't smell very good, staff only there a few hours so you pretty much run the hotel on your own. When we were there other couples assumed the entire porch , large lawn chairs, coolers, etc..We had no where to sit. only plus here is close to the boardwalk.
- Disappointed (2/5): - Stay away!!!
The blankets looked clean however there were dirty fingerprints around door frames and light switches. I’m not sure anything was ever wiped down.
There was also someone else’s bathing suit still hanging on the hook behind the door. There is no way they took adequate time to clean the room. Highly disappointed and will never go back to that disgustingly dirty motel.
