- Maureen (10/5): Recommend this hotel to everyone. - This is my second trip to the Sunline Central Hotel and very much enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent and within walking distance of the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful. In particular Emma has been a star and has helped me to organise trips and transport for our visit. There is nothing that I didn’t like.

- ကံညွန့် (10/5): Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, offering good value for money. - The hotel is in a very convenient location, with easy access to restaurants and local shopping facilities nearby.The staff were all very polite, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was simple but reasonable for the price paid. The coffee was good, and the freshly made omelettes were especially nice. Although the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, it was still satisfactory overall, considering the value offered by the hotel. One thing to be aware of is that from Friday 6 p.m. until Monday 6 a.m., the area becomes restricted to vehicles. During this time, cars are not permitted to enter the zone, so guests with luggage may need to walk a considerable distance. In addition, Grab taxis cannot pick up directly from the hotel, and you have to walk outside the restricted area to meet your taxi.

- Sophie (10/5): Excellent central Hanoi hotel - The staff were so attentive and friendly and ready to help with anything - even our luggage from street to room! We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite as it was available which was a lovely touch. The bed was so comfy, black out curtains, water and extra drinks for purchase in the fridge (saves you going to the shop!). We had doors opening out into the city which was nice in the morning. Also the soundproofing was great- only very faint noise can be heard which is excellent for the centre of Hanoi. Everything was clean. The bathroom had a bath, toiletries and a shower with EXCELLENT water pressure! Breakfast had usual Vietnamese options, plus cereal, fesh fruit and salad as well as other items to order such as eggs, pancakes, Noodles, French toast. We got eggs which came quickly and were nice. We would 100% recommend staying here. As is quite standard in Vietnam, the plug sockets could be a bit dodgy - but didnt affect our stay.

The room itself was clean, spacious and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The water pressure was great, airconditioning was great (especially in this weather) and wifi was strong. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the check-in process was super quick and easy. We stayed one night, went to Halong Bay and came back to book another night. Definitely will come back and was great value for your money in a good prime location close to alot of the main attractions and water.

Quiet and comfortable, great wifi and convenient location. Also organised airport pick up through the hotel, which was very smooth. Nothing not to like. My only small issue (which won't be an issue for many!) was that my room didn't have a good desk or chair to work from, but my fault for not checking before (there was a lovely arm chair and a small desk, but they don't work well together).

I also hope they pay more attention to the cleanliness of the towels, as every time housekeeping changed them, I found yellow and black stains. - Andrea (10/5): Comfort and calm in the middle of chaotic Ha Noi. - Loved, LOVED my stay at Sunline! It was a great location - close to everything, but not on a super busy street. Clean and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and the absolutely loveliest staff! I don't think I could bring myself to stay anywhere else if I came back to Ha Noi.

This was the most expensive stay during my month trip and for that I’m judging it harsher! It was a tiny room, with 355ml water bottles provided (feels a bit stingy given the price). The biggest let down was breakfast, which was a bizarre variety each day and just wasn’t good. Great outside noise cancelling (ie can’t hear traffic etc) but terrible inside noise cancelling so you could hear your neighbours. Nowhere to put your suitcase, outrageously creaky wardrobe, shower pressure was bizarre with too many heads that were either so strong they wouldn’t stay in the holder, or you had a waterfall head that was like a drip of water. I also thought Netflix was included but it isn’t. Only one bedside table as well because the room is so small.

A hotel tetején van egy bár, csodás onnan a kilátás. A szobák rendben voltak. Hatalmas ágyak voltak, minden tiszta volt .

- Kim (10/5): Centraal, maar rustig en een hele goede service - Het hotel ligt heel centraal, nog geen 5 min lopen van het meer en heel dichtbij het waterpoppentheater (max 10 min lopen) Het hotel ligt in een autoluwe straat waardoor het in de kamer erg rustig is. De kamer zelf is heel schoon, heeft een heerlijk bed, een goede airco, koelkastje en een badkamer met douchescherm en wen goede warme douche Het ontbijt was een uitgebreid en goed buffet. Verder kon je ook kiezen uit een klein menu van eieren, pannenkoeken en french toast. Het dakterras was ook leuk om een drankje te doen. Niet groot, maar je kon er lekker in de wind zitten en wat eten en drinken. De dames en heer bij de te receptie waren super! Ze lieten op een plattegrond de highlights zien en gaven ook leuke tips waar te eten en koffie te drinken. We hebben via de receptie ook een foodtour geregeld die echt super leuk en lekker was. Ook konden we onze grote bagage laten staan toen we een 5-daagse tour in het noorden gingen doen.

- Trudey (10/5): What a magnificent hotel to stay in for our first visit to Vietnam - thoroughly recommend a stay here! - We just spent a week here - walking down our neighbourhood street each morning was my favourite part of our day! So vibrant and friendly. Our room was very quiet each night and the beds so comfy. The staff were such a treat greeting us with the happiest service and smiles each day. Breakfast was fantastic and kept us full way past lunch. Would definitely stay again

It was a but pricey for VN standards while also lacking th - Awesome location, tucked in one street away from the hustle and bustle. Far enough to get quiet, close enough for a quick hop to Old Quarter’s most famous bits. Really the only drawback is the lack of the usual hotel gym and pool, but then again almost all similar hotels in the area are missing those as well. One elevator but only a couple rooms per floor so traffic isn’t too bad.
