- Анастасия (2/5): Я разочарована - Расположение было удобным Когда мы приехали к офису в 1, попросили зайти в restroom, переодеться,потому что были с дороги,нам отказали,сказано было прийти не раньше трех,что удобства в виде туалета не предоставляют,также в отрывах я читала что парковка бесплатная, но в результате нам не обеспечили парковку, сказав что надо было заранее отправлять запрос, мы видели возле отеля пустые парковочные места , но сами стояли под знаком только 2 часа, потому как парковаться в центре кармель негде,далее когда мы заселились в комнате был неприятный запах,при зарядке телефона вилка вываливалось из розетки, приходилось чем нибудь придавливать, холодильник очень сильно шумел. Когда я выбирала отель не сайте очень красивые предоставлялись фотографии, но по факту все очень старое и не красивое , комната микроскопическая

- Laure (8/5): Fijn verblijf in Carmel - Zeer fijne locatie in het gezellige dorp Carmel. Het bed was comfortabel en de kamer was zeer ruim. Het was allemaal proper maar voelde wat verouderd. Onze kamer voelde wat verouderd. Het tapijt overal, zelfs in kleine keukentje en de inkom, is voor mij een no go. Zeker wanneer je naar het strand zou gaan. De badkamer zou ook wel een update kunnen gebruiken.

- Phillip (6/5): pass - location the staff at the front desk - she was confrontational from the moment I walked in to see if room was ready early, then again a few hours later when we’d were checking in, she do not see we had booked a pet friendly room on the booking.com site, so it became another sours of confrontation and hostility. she allowed us to check in, but charged us the maximum pet fee for our 35lb dog. not a pleasant person/experience.

- Lauri (8/5): Convenient to everything in town - Very convenient to walk to everything in town, free garaged parking was a plus, staff was friendly and room was spacious and clean There were no screens on the windows and it was a warm weekend so when we opened windows to cool the room, bugs flew in. Not too many but it was strange there weren’t screens.

O estacionamento na porta do quarto é bem conveniente também. Chegamos a noite, após o horário da recepção, mas eles foram super organizados, deixando indicações claras e fáceis de como nos alojar sozinhos. Acústica muito ruim e quartos muito próximos, acordamos com barulho de conversar de hóspedes vizinhos. Chuveiro também é muito baixo, para quem é alto acaba ficando bem desconfortável

O quarto era bastante confortável e tinha 2 camas, perfeito para família de 3 pessoas. Mesmo sendo muito confortável, o quarto merecia uma modernização dentro do estilo charmoso.

- Shelley (6/5): Great location, old rooms...in need of a spruce up! - I have been staying here for over 20 years...sometimes with my dog, sometimes alone. It is in a very good location for walking to town and enjoying restaurants, theater and shopping. Pretty far away from beach access to be honest, unless you are young and strong! Although the property is in dire need of a re-do, everything is acceptable, bed etc. The furniture is directly from 1960s, old pine desks and old chairs. WHAT I REALLY object to....is that the front desk person "Tiffany" seems to get her power from being behind the desk. The manager, Michael, was a nice low key guy...I did mention to him (after being in hospitality for years---) that he should FIRE her as she is NOT front desk material. She is snippy, negative and just rude to the people who come to be on vacation and have a hospitable place to stay. Rude Rude Rude...please see their Yelp reviews for substantiation! The owners need to pay attention to their property and the front office. As I say, the manager, Michael was nice to deal with...but all in all, I would elevate the pay and get better, nicer folks at the front desk! THEY represent the property!

- Simone (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay and will come back for sure. Check in was nice and easy. - Very close to down town (1 block) free parking. Two bathrooms were nice. Kitchen had dishes and silverware. Privacy was nice. Needs new bed linens, sheets were stained. Extra toilet paper for longer stays since no house keeping in this specific room.

- Erives (5/5): Overall, the location is great, the rooms are cute but I didn't like how there was no AC in the room - I really liked that it was close to everything and many restaraunts were walking distance. The beach is a close walk as well. There is no AC or cooling system in the room. Also there were hairs on the shower walls which was really disgusting.
- Tristan (6/5): Do not stay at this hotel, unless you like arguing with rude staff. - The location was perfect, but that’s it. Our stay in Carmel started off on the wrong foot and unfortunately never recovered. After driving nearly four hours from Southern California, we arrived exhausted and looking forward to checking in. Instead, we were met by an incredibly combative and rude receptionist (a blonde woman at the front desk) whose attitude immediately set a negative tone for the stay. One of the main issues was parking. Our booking clearly indicated that free on-site parking was included, but when we arrived we were told that our room did not come with parking. Rather than helping resolve the discrepancy, the receptionist was dismissive and argumentative. There was no attempt to check the reservation details or offer a solution… just a blunt insistence that parking wasn’t included. After such a long drive, the last thing anyone wants is to feel like they’re being treated as a problem rather than a guest. A little empathy and willingness to help would have gone a long way, but instead the interaction felt unnecessarily hostile. First impressions matter, and unfortunately this one was extremely poor. The experience at the front desk left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated before our stay had even properly begun.

- Kathi (10/5): We celebrated my husband's birthday there, and our Anniversary. It was perfect and we loved it. - The location is perfect and the cottage is cute and comfortable. Our pups love it too. There was nothing that could have been better. We have stayed there a few times and we are always happy with it.

Very charming on the outside. Not the cleanest. There was a giant spider in our room. No where to put our garbage. Weird front desk hours and front desk staff not super helpful or friendly. Parking not convenient. Rooms need updating.
- Karen (8/5): Cute Inn / perfect central location to Carmel. - Location was one blocks walking distance to Centre of Carmel’s shops and restaurants and beach ;) Good shower and fireplace, spacious lounge room xx Space around the bed was quite narrow. Expensive and busy in the long weekend.
