They need a good chef / cook that can provide a better quality eating experience and then they will excel above all competition. Dining quality is important in a location where the choice is limited.

- KEIKO (6/5): - デンパサールからゲストハウスのあるムンジャンガンまで約3時間半ほど車でかかりますが、景色は昔のバリの様相が見られ、美しかったです。 ゲストハウスのオーナーでしょうか対応はとても親しみやすく良かったです。 ただこのコロナ禍、宿泊客も少なく、レストランもクローズしていました。朝食付きで申し込んだのですが、コンチネンタルブレックファーストと書いてあったので楽しみにしていましたが、なんと朝からナシゴレンしかもコーヒーにはミルクなし 近くのレストランまで行き夕食を済ませ、コンビニで小さな牛乳を買い、それをコーヒーに入れて飲みました。 このコロナ禍では確かに仕方ないことですが、早くインドネシア政府もそろそろバリの国際線を開けないと、観光の島バリはもうすでに死んでいます。 ジャカルタの感染者の増加に伴った政策なんだとは思いますが、このままでは、バリはたちゆかないところまで来ていると思います。巷の噂では、来年3月にならないとインターナショナルは開かないのでは?と言われていますが、インドネシア政府の考えは、我々には全く伝わってきません。 バリは特にバリヒンドゥ教徒の多い島です。毎日毎日家寺にはチャナンというお供え物を供えてお祈りを欠かしません。 そしてさらに宗教行事も多く、塵も積もれば山となるではありませんが、そのチャナンを用意し、食べていかなければならないローカルの方々の暮らしぶりを見るにつけ、その大変さが身に沁みます。 一日も早くインドネシア政府がバリデンパサール空港国際線を開けて行く方向性で動いてくださる事を願うばかりです。

You live in a small house with an outside bathroom. It gets very hot inside during the night but rooms are provided with air conditioning. We also tried the restaurant which was ok but chose small warungs for further meals.

- Kim (10/5): 멘장안에서 가장 편안한 호텔 - 멘장안 지역은 웨스트발리국립공원의 스노우쿨링이 정말 좋았습니다. 이 지역은 타 우붓이나 꾸타처럼 개발이 많이 되지 않았지만 아직까지 자연을 그대로 보존하고 있고 민심 역시 우라나라 옛 시골민심 같은 느낌입니다. 따루나 홈스테이는 시설, 쳥결, 직원친절에 있어 최고라고 생각합니다. 발리에서 더 편안하게 자연을 느끼고 싶다면 멘장안 지역을 추전하고 또 따루나 홈스테이를 추천합니다. 한가지 아쉬운 점은, 관광지로 크게 개발이 안된 지역인 만큼 주변에 먹거리는 없습니다. 다만 호텔 내 레스토랑은 꽤 합리적인 가격에 수준이 꽤 높다 생각합니다.

- Lisa (8/5): Intimate Friendly Home Stay - We spent nine nights at Taruna and would recommend it as a relaxing, friendly homestay. The staff are mostly family members and are very hospitable and helpful. The grounds are relaxing and beautiful and the restaurant on the premises serves delicious and reasonably priced food. It is a short walk to the beach, without the need to cross the road.

Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und schön eingerichtet. Zu empfehlen ist auch das Redtaurant/Warung welches zum Hotel gehört. Zudem schöne Anlage und toller Pool. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

- bia (10/5): a small homestay with the certain something - From the arrival to the departure it was a successful stay! I felt at home... Everything is very loving and the many small details give the guest the feeling really welcome.The beakfast was lovingly and generously arranged. The arrivalwas very pleasant, took it time, sat down with us, offered a free drink. They asked for names and travel plans and had copied a self- painted map of the surrounding area.The room was decoreted every day with fresh flowers- this is unfortunately not always obvious, but would be so simple u would cost almost nothing!

One night we were uncomfortable with our room and they managed to switch it the next day no problem. Service was amazing and the staff always remembered our names, a nice touch that will be remembered. Decent location but slightly out of the way of other restaurants and snorkelling areas.

- André (10/5): Un incontournable à Pemuteran ! - Un séjour extraordinaire ! L'accueil est vraiment exceptionnel, le personnel d'une grande gentillesse et d'un très grand professionnalisme. La piscine dans le jardin est superbe et tout est bien entretenu. La nourriture est d'une grande qualité et le service très attentionné. Vraiment une super adresse à Pemuteran. Nous avons fait deux excursions avec eux et tout est super bien organisé. À ne pas manquer !!!!
- Hugo (10/5): Très bon séjour - Hôtel très agréable, personnel très accueillant, cadre reposant, restaurant délicieux. Excellent rapport qualité/prix (80€ pour 2 nuits petit dejeuner inclus!) Petite anecdote, à notre arrivée, encore sur le parking nous avons dit notre nom et avons eu le droit à "aaah Hugo!" un personnel qui connait les voyageurs qui arrivent c'est toujours appréciable ! Emplacement près de la mer permet de rejoindre plusieurs sites à pied. A 20 minutes en voiture se trouve le parc national où l'on a pu faire une merveilleuse excursion en bateau à l'ile de Menjangan pour faire du snorkeling dans la barrière de corail --> c'était magnifique nous recommandons vivement cette expérience bien plus belle que les coraux présents en bord de plage. Hotel qui se distingue des hôtels vus en front de mer qui semblent bien plus être des "cages à touristes".

- Verified traveler (10/5): Prettig verblijf. - Fijn verblijf gehad bij de zeer vriendelijke familie Taruna. Nette kamer en open badkamer. Handig dat in je kamer een strandtas ter beschikking ligt. Strand en snorkelgebied is op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen. Ook al ligt het direct aan de hoofdweg, geen last van het verkeer gehad. Voldoende eetgelegenheden nabij.

- Heine (10/5): Fint hotell, god service - Flott opphold. Hyggelig staff. God mat og god service. Dusj og toalett ute, ganske ålreit. Litt minus at døren vår på rom Wayan ikke kunne lukkes uten å måtte låse den fysisk. Litt harde senger. Og vi avtalte bil for en dag med sjåfør, og betalte. Etter 10 minutter så ville sjåføren ta en tur innom familien sin som var på samme veien. Vi sa ok. Mulig vi misforstod, men han tok med seg onkelen sin, som måtte være med oss en hel dag. Ikke noe stort problem, men det var ikke hva vi hadde sett for oss. Da dagen nærmet seg slutten, så ville sjåføren ha mer penger. Ufint. Men ellers et fint og koselig hotell. 200 m til strand, 2 km til apetempel, 200 m til Glass House, 5 m til dykkesenter.

The staff were very friendly, service was ok but could be improved by waiter service in the pool area which was a bit away from the bar area if you wished to order drinks etc. Room was fine, good pool area but we were disappointed with the food. The breakfast was limited. We had dinner on two occasions and found the food to be very average and expensive compared to other nearby restaurants.
