- Tim (6/5): - Not the cleanest. AC hardly worked. Outside smelled like cat pee so bad that the AC was blowing the smell into our room. Should have got a deduct for the inconvenience.

We needed to turn the air conditioner on as the room was warm and stuffy and after we did we started smelling what seemed to smell like a skunk which we realized were the kids smoking marijuana in the drive.

- Tim (2/5): - Very run down, smelly room, side table broke off wall. Most light bulbs bun't out, no mopboards at all. Says it has deli, no just empty room. Grounds/building/parking lot bad condition.

Just had to clear away some flies that got inside on my first night and nothing else came in the 6 nights afterward. I don’t know what the puddle next to the bed was about though. Probably just dripped bugspray. Room had a smell sort of like if you held a game controller for 6 hours and sniffed the handle. It’s probably the bugspray.

- Gina (4/5): - Still under construction. Room felt dirty. Pipes screamed when shower was turned on. Dog poop on sidewalk in front of rooms. Semi-truck overnight parking area immediately adjacent with at least a dozen trucks running all night.
- Don (4/5): Not worth the money. - Cockroach crawling in the bathroom, faucet loose and tilted and the sink drain was clogged. When I reported these problems to the front desk they knew about the sink.

- Joan (2/5): - Arrived at the hotel and the woman at the front said they had to find a room with 2 beds for us because they were all booked up. She found us one (room 152). As I'm walking away she said, I should mention the window is broke but you can't feel the cold air inside the room (outside temp was 29 degrees). Window looked like it was with shot, but it was only through the outside pane and she was correct that we could not feel any outside air. The room looked to be recently updated, LVP in the bedroom area, new vanity in the bathroom and an accessible shower. Seem very nice. However there were no kleenex, shampoo and only 1 bar of soap. But it was a clean room, until morning. While my cousin was in the bathroom showering I seen and killed 2 cockroaches. I went into bathroom and noticed 5 small ones on the bathroom floor. My cousin told the woman (same woman from check-in) that we had cockroaches in our room. She said she was sorry and the last people in that room had a lot of food and it was a mess but they thought they had gotten them all. She asked if we wanted some spray. Heck no we want a refund. Could only give a partial refund because we booked through Expedia. Because the door was to the outside, it was very noisy with vehicles coming and going.

The hotel was hard to locate for there is no sign. It, the hotel, was in the dark location. I had to call Expedia to cancel my reservation. The agent for Expedia was very helpful. I ended up staying somewhere else. I would never stay there again

- Leandra (2/5): Unbelievably horribly unsafe place to stay. - Another guest got into my vehicle at 1 am!! I called the front desk to complain and was met with a very uncaring attitude. I asked for the guest to be moved or give me a refund so I could bring my daughter somewhere safe. The front desk was rude and unprofessional. Not helpful at all. No rest was had that night. My daughter was to freaked out to sleep. I was to worried about my van. I had way to much stuff as we were on a 10 day family vacation to let some low life steal from us. This hotel should be dropped from the chain.
- Alison (10/5): Very clean, speedy check in, friendly - Can be difficult to find!! I read that in the reviews but didn't realize how hard it would be until we were looking for it. It's behind a Phillips 66 Truck Plaza. This place is an absolute gem, very clean remodeled rooms. The desk clerk told me all of the rooms have been remodeled. Even the lobby area is clean and welcoming. Check in was quick which was so nice after driving 12 hours. The room was spotless, beds comfortable. Pet friendly! They have restored my faith in Motel 6's. I would absolutely book again. The trucks from the plaza can be loud at times but that's never bothered me much.

It could use some spiffing up on the outside, but the room was very good. It is still a little hard to find due to it's location.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - I made this reservation so I had a place to get ready for my office Christmas party since I live almost an hour from my work. I was running late and in a hurry which did not help. The lady who checked me in was nice but kept having trouble with this tiny tablet used for the motels computer. It kept kicking her out of the system. It took 5 tries to get checked in. I had paid with my Expedia account but she wasn’t able to see where I had prepaid on my reservation receipt. I tried to pull up my Expedia receipt but was unable to find it. I was frustrated because now my hour I had had was now 25 minutes. I was charged by the motel on site for room. The following day I checked into my Expedia account and found receipt for prepayment. I called the Motel 6 and spoke with a gentleman who said he could see both charges for the same reservation. One through Expedia and one through motel 6. He then said it was our mistake I do apologize but could you call in the morning to speak with management. Next morning I call and the manger was extremely rude. Told me I had to call Expedia to get refund. She refused to help me and even hung up on me. When I tried to call back she refused to answer but after 5 minutes of the phone ringing she had some guy pick up and tell me she was with another customer and would I call back, I politely said no I would hold. She eventually picked up said I would be refunded and hung up again.

- Joel (8/5): - The parking lot is very poorly lit. It was difficult to get comfortable and get to sleep, because there was a very real possibility that our car would be broken into during the night. Please upgrade the parking lot lights.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean, adequate facility - It is really a trucker's motel. But it is clean and quiet and not expensive at all.
- Judy (8/5): Just OK - First of all, GPS took us on a long gravel road to get here. Rooms were supposed to be newly remodeled, but our door didn't seem to be the right size for the opening as you could see daylight all around it and the toilet rocked when you sat on it. Otherwise it was an ok room. WI-Fi was great! It was quiet even though there was a truck stop on the other side of the building.
- Mingoman (6/5): Remodeled Rooms - This Motel 6 has been remodeled. The rooms are large and spacious. TV is a bit small, but works fine. The worst part of this location is that outside is a parking lot for 18 wheelers. So the rumbling of big trucks entering and exiting goes on almost constantly. Host was very friendly and able to help with iPad wifi issue. Price seems a bit high, considering the noise factor, but is probably in line price-wise with the local competition.
- K Anderson (6/5): Motel 6 is okay for the price - Motel 6 does as well as it can with the resources it has; the price reflects the minimal amenities you receive. Some upgrading in our room was evident: new laminate floor, sink, microwave and small refrigerator. However, the motel sits behind a truck stop, so our door was 30 feet from idling trucks all night. The bathroom door had no doorknob and would not close. There was a large cobweb above the shower. You can get hot coffee/water in the morning in the motel lobby, but no breakfast. The hostess was friendly. Bring your own shampoo, towels (provided ones are worn and small), hair dryer, and bed pillows. Beds and shower were okay, but not great.
- Josh (8/5): Solid Value for the Price - Decided to drive north of Kansas City to same driving time the following day on trip to Iowa. Selected this motel based on price and decent reviews. My dad and I were very content with the room size. Bed was fine, room was sizeable and TV had full channel package. For the cost it was a solid value.
- kayla (8/5): Nice hotel - The location is great, but the room is freezing even with the air-conditioning off. Other than that, perfect.
- Verified traveler (6/5): No frills accommodation. Price was right. - Everything was as stated. Good place to stay if you are trying to travel on a low budget.
