• Ellen (9/5): Prima verblijf, fijn appartement, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. - Erg schoon, elke dag schoongemaakt, bijzonder vriendelijke gastvrouw, prima appartement, niet heel groot, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn balkon. Enigzins dicht bij de doorgaande weg, niet super storend.

• Fara (10/5): - De sympathieke gastvrouw, de lekkere verrassing alle dagen, dat er zoals in een hotel dagelijks wordt gepoetst, schone handdoeken en lakens Prima muggenwering en gebouw. Mooie rustige ligging tussen fluitende vogels Om zelf te koken is het wat basic (2 plaatjes). Alsook zou een (gedeelde) wasmachine voor ons nuttig zijn geweest.
• Frank (9/5): Great place to explore Lesbos from. - Excellent central location from which to explore the whole island (during my trip I rented a car). With Skala Kallonis nearby, there are plenty of good restaurants and a nice beach at walking distance. The host was very nice, every day the room was cleaned well, and most days the host left some traditional greek treats for me, which were really good! All windows were fitted with mosquito netting, so I had no problems with any mosquitos during my stay :). Also reasonably close to the Kalloni salt pans, which are an excellent location for watching Flamingo's, Pelicans, and other birds, especially nice during spring migration (which was slowing down when I was there at the end of May).

Maar natuurlijk ook gewoon de ligging, heel centraal en makkelijk bereikbaar, parkeerplaats bij de accommodatie. Aardige gastvrouw en nette locatie, ruimte bij de locatie om te ontspannen en alles netjes functionerend en proper. Het was ook goed te doen om van de accommodatie te lopen naar het strand en het dorpje om een hapje te eten/drinken. Niets wat ik me kan bedenken.

The location is ideal, as it is in the center of the island, while at the same time the studios are situated in a quiet area but still close to shops, restaurants, etc. Mrs. Vasso’s hospitality was impeccable, with daily cleaning, making you feel truly at home

• ΑΘΗΝΑ- ATHINA (10/5): Το ότι θα ξανάρθουμε τα λέει όλα !!!! Η φιλοξενία, η καθαριότητα, το ειδυλλιακό τοπίο της παραμονής μας, η ηρεμία της φύ - Αρχικά είναι ένα πλήρως εξοπλισμένο Studio σε ένα ειδυλλιακό περιβάλλον μέσα στο πράσινο , τα κλινοσκεπάσματα καθώς και το στρώμα του κρεβατιού είναι άριστα!!!! Δεν υπάρχει κάτι το οποίο μας δυσαρεστείσε στη διαμονή μας.

• Erika (10/5): An absolute must! - Fantastic! Simply fantastic! The host was so lovely and the fruit bowl upon arrival was a really nice touch. The following day, she also left some other sweets. We were really surprised to also find the room cleaned every day, with a change of sheets and towels too. The property itself was impeccably clean with a well-stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the balcony in the evening. It is such a restful place. The location is ideal, within walking distance of Skala Kallonis if you don't want to drive in the evening. It is also a short drive to Kalloni. It's the perfect location on the island if you want to explore more of western Lesbos. The dog is an absolute doll!!! Thank you for such a great stay! We had to leave! :( We could have easily stayed longer!
• Sukru (9/5): Restfull, peaceful, quite and nice. - There is no breakfast, but that is also no problem at all. We made our breakfast shopping from a market that is like 2-3 km away by car. 3 big supermarkets side by side. The quietness was the best and because there is no breakfast to catch, you can wake up anytime you like. The room was big enough and very well equipped for eating and so. The balcony was also a nice place for resting. Beautiful countryside view from the balcony. The owner lady and her husband were very friendly, helpful and smiling all the time. We enjoyed it very much. The area is peaceful. Actually, nothing at all.
• Sethi (10/5): Exceptional - Vasso is an incredible host who truly cares about her guests, probably the best host I have ever met. The room was super clean, spacious and well-maintained. It has everything you need for a short or longer stay. The area is quiet and very calm. Its about a 10-15 minute walk to the center and beach. Here you can find restaurants, café and a car renting shop which is where we rented our car. The people are nice and helpful in this area and its a perfect place to be if you want to discover the whole island of Lesbos, since you can reach all parts of the island from Skala Kalloni. Nothing. It was an amazing stay.
• Helen (10/5): Fantastic, particularly for birders! - Very well-equipped apartment in a peaceful location with nice gardens. Had everything we needed over our 10-day stay. The apartment is well located for visiting all parts of the island, and not too far from local shops and restaurants. I would particularly recommend the apartment to fellow birdwatchers, it's not far from the Kalloni saltpans and birds can even be seen from the balcony (Scops Owl can be heard calling every night and even seen, with a bit of luck). Our host was wonderful and left nice treats such as cakes and biscuits for us nearly every day! She cleaned, tidied, made the bed, etc every day while we were out (even Sunday, which was supposed to be her day off!) Nothing that we didn't like!

The studio was very comfortable and clean, we had everything that we needed for our stay. Our host, Mrs Vasso was so helpful and kind, she helped us to feel at home 100%. As a bonus she offered us fruits from the garden, and we could taste her home made cake as well. Thank you so much for this great hospitality, we will definitely return. We liked everything.

• Diane (10/5): Exceptionally well equipped studio - We only stayed for one night because of a mix-up in our bookings. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is an exceptionally well equipped studio. Not your usual 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 forks, etc setup. Loads of cutlery, dishes, appliances. You would actually be able to cook a real meal here. Comfortable beds, great shower, nice balcony and the unit we were in (no.4) had an amazing breeze that kept the temperature comfortable without air con. Well done! Nothing

The room was cleaned every single day. We even got small treats like fresh fruit and homemade dessert. Good private parking. Excellent communication with the host. • Hilary (10/5): Spotlessly clean, well equipped studio in a beautiful, quiet location - Shine Studios is our go-to place in Skala Kaloni. We used to stay there frequently before we bought a house nearby. This weekend we stayed while noisy and dusty work was taking place in our own home. We were warmly welcomed to the spotlessly clean and well equipped studio. The bed was more comfortable than my own and we were serenaded by nightingales.

• Yvonne (10/5): Wonderful Stay - The studio had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets every other day. Every so often home made cakes or biscuits would be left for us to come home to. We had a lovely sunny terrace and to hear the nightingale every morning and the sheep's bells jangling as they ran past was wonderful. It was not far to walk into Skala Kalloni with its tavernas and shop and pharmacy. I just love Lesvos and have been many times. I will be back! Nothing
• Graham (10/5): Lovely apartment, lovely host, lovely stay. - I stayed at Shine Studios during a one-week birding trip to Lesbos. I didn't spend much time in the apartment during the day, usually leaving by 6.30 am and returning around 8 pm, so I only really showered, slept, and made a bit of breakfast in the morning. The host Vaso was really nice and spoke very good English. The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed (a comfy bed, clean shower/bathroom, filter coffee machine, fridge, etc). The complimentary cakes that greeted me each evening were a lovely treat. I'd definitely stay again. Not specific to Shine Studios, but there's a lot of feral dogs in Skala Kallonis and you can hear them barking at night (although most sounded quite distant - they were never right outside the apartments), which is a bit of a distraction if you're a light sleeper. It's a 10-minute walk into the town down some dark roads (with verges), so maybe take a head torch.

• Verified traveler (10/5): shine studios Skala Kellonis Lesvos - We had a fantastic studio one of only four set in a beautiful area .The owners Vasso and Vangelis were wonderful people they made us very welcome and the feeling was homely.Vasso made us home cooked food pressies everyday and our room cleaned every day abd we had fresh towel s and linen daily.we had access to a small garden with sun beds back and front of the studios with a swinging hammock in the trees.We had free WiFi and free car parking area.The studios were easy to find just off a country road .The beach only a short 10 minute walk or 2 minute car ride. The rooms were modern and and contemporary and with fridge ,microwave, coffee machine, kettle Air conditioning .Tv.The top floor had amazing views over fields and mountains beautiful to watch the wildlife in peace .Rooms were small accommodating two double beds together and a pull out mattress for third bed. It had a small table, a case stand and a very large wardrobe.plenty of draws bedside tables , dressing table. it had New modern bathroom with blue lighting large shower with two types of shower heads .
