Stoutt (5/5): First and second time at Royal SK - The pool and layout of the properly. Most of the Front Desk Staff was not very welcoming or took the initiative to greet you as you passed by. My group's first meal at splash was met with unpleasantries and they got something as simple as sándwiches all wrong. The room was poorly cleaned, the sofá had a poor smell. The Dining table was in a bad condition and one of the stools was falling apart. The sliding doors was dirty throughout my stay. There was a smell of sewerage everytime I exited my room.

The room I had opened out onto the pool area which was great, also had outdoor seating. Situated in walking distance of supermarket which was great fot self catering. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to Frigate Bay beach and bars. Couldn't get the tv to work but wasn't really that bothered, just tried it because it was huge and there!

Beach access rather distant - Caribbean 25” walk, not particularly appealing Atlantic across the street via the Marriott but seaweed and rock infested. Michael (10/5): Relaxing holiday in a lovely hotel. - The one bedroom upstairs apartment overlooked the lagoon which meant we had the sun on the balcony from early afternoon. The bed was huge and comfortable, the apartment had everything you could wish for. We had 2 balconies and a large bathroom, bedroom and living area. The gym was great, well equipped and well laid out. 2 pools were really good, towels were provided as required and there was always sunbeds around the pools, they were never busy. There was entertainment on at the bar area 2 or 3 nights per week. The staff on reception were really helpful and friendly, as were the grounds/maintenance staff and also the cleaners. There were lots of places to eat nearby, most of them good value. We had breakfast there on the first day, but didn't do that again. For the price, selection was limited and the food wasn't great. There are some good places nearby. Also we ate at the bar area a few times in the evening. The food was fine, but some of the servers weren't too customer friendly. The beach on the East side was difficult to get to near the Marriot Hotel as the hotel didn't allow you to walk through their grounds to get to it. They said it was a private beach, but it isn't. Regardless, swimming on that side is not advisable. The other beach at Frigate Bay was okay, it was sandy but getting in and out of the sea wasn't easy due to a steep slope and stones everywhere. Once in the sea, it was fine.
T6257QRsallyc (8/5): Ideal Hotel for business or vacation trips - I enjoyed my stay at Royal St. Kitts. This was my 2nd visit & I can confidently say I would not choose to stay anywhere else. The room was spotless, spacious & very comfortable, the rooms come fully equipped with a kitchen, which is always a big plus for me. Another highlight is the staff were super friendly & helpful, with special thanks to receptionist Ms. Blondel, who went above & beyond to provide information on things to do around the island & even arranged all of my rental needs. She made my trip extra special. For anyone planning to stay more than two days, I highly recommend renting a car rather than relying on taxis, as fares are around USD 20 each way & can add up quickly. Having a rental made exploring much easier for me. Royal St. Kitts Hotel thank you for another fantastic stay.

RandDtravellers (8/5): Good value, pool, gardens and well appointed rooms - We stayed four nights in a suite - lots of space, well appointed and comfortable, overlooking the golf course, so pretty quiet. Bed was good, toiletries, coffee and a few other extras. Linens a high quality, and everything very clean. Swimming pools are great with towels provided for pools and the beach. Plenty of comfy sunbeds. Grounds are beautifully looked after. We mainly self-catered (the kitchen is fully equipped) or ate out but did try breakfast at Splash - it was adequate, not special. Location is convenient for supermarkets and restaurant options but you are dependent on taxis if you don't hire a car.

Arie Jan (6/5): Niet voor herhaling vatbaar :-( - De locatie, het complex, ruime opzet De bediening bij het ontbijt is traag. Vaak ook ronduit onvriendelijk, dit geldt zowel voor personeel ontbijt als bij de receptie. Je krijgt sterk de indruk dat gasten eerder als last dan als welkom worden gezien. Als werken met gasten je zichtbaar tegenstaat, is de horeca misschien niet de juiste plek. Daarbij duurt het echt lang voordat je wat krijgt bij ontbijt: ongeveer een uur na bestellen. Bestel ook zeker geen granola met yoghurt: dat is een plastic drinkbeker met klein beetje granola, wat yoghurt en jam. Dat kan toch beter voor die prijs? Daarnaast zijn de kamers duidelijk wat afgeleefd. De kamer die wij oorspronkelijk hadden geboekt zou een king-size bed hebben, maar bleek een smal tweepersoonsbed (twijfelaar) te hebben. Dan maar een upgrade geboekt tegen toch behoorlijk bedrag. Het is een hotel, maar niet iedere dag room service; om de twee dagen. Bijzonder voor de betaalde prijs. Alles bij elkaar: geen hotel dat ik zou aanbevelen.

Allison (8/5): Enjoyable and relaxing - Location is excellent, not on the beach but Frigate Bay beach which is lovely is a short walk or taxi ride away, the Marriott beach is not a nice beach, water is rough and there is seaweed. There are lots of restaurants a short walk away if one does not want to eat in the hotel, the hotel rooms are self contained and have new appliances which allows you to purchase groceries to prepare if you want to. The Supervisor, Blondell Jeffrey is excellent and addresses any concerns swiftly, the Reception Staff were good. The fresh water pool is lovely and was never overcrowded. If choosing a Studio Room I would highly recommend those that are in the pool vicinity rather than those that are close to the road. While the food was good, The Splash Bar & Restaurant Staff were not as friendly as the other resort staff.

peggycG1602DX (10/5): Great hotel with wonderful staff - This was my 5th time visiting St Kitt's and the 4th time staying at Royal St Kitt's (Jack Tar Village). The staff went over and above making our stay a pleasant one. We did encounter a problem with a leak in the ceiling (the reason for not a 5 rating) but it was rectified quickly. The restaurant manager came around and asked about our stay, food and service at Splash restaurant. He explained some of the challenges they have faced since COVID. There is one server that really went above and beyond, unfortunately I didn't get her name, but she had just started working there. Our room was very clean, comfortable beds and good location. Front staff was very friendly and welcoming, made us feel like we were the only people there. I plan on returning to St Kitt's next year and will be staying at Royal St Kitt's. Thank you to all the staff for making our girl's getaway a great experience.

There was not enough bath towels for the number of guests that were included in the booking The water was disconnected during the stay and no effort was made to notify guests or compensate for the inconvenience. I had to purchase bottled water from a nearby supermarket to take a shower

BJBeen (10/5): Treated like Royalty - The Royal St. Kitts was located in a great area. Beach across the road, stores and restaurants readily available in the parking lot and along the road. The hotel had a great restaurant as well. Service was top notch and Jayce treated us great. All staff responded to any requests quickly and with enthusiasm. The pools were great, towel service acceptable and towels available from front desk for day trips. This resort is exceptional for the price paid and the kitchenettes in the room make it so you do not have to eat out all the time. We fell in love with St. Kitts and would return to the Royal for the easy going atmosphere and friendly staff.

dollym681 (10/5): A Great week at the Royal St. Kitts - I would consider the area very quaint, quiet and relaxing. We loved that it is conveniently located near the Frigate Bay Strip, local restaurants, and a supermarket. The front desk staff was more than accommodating. The on site restaurant offered several special activities throughout the week we were there (a Super Bowl party was one). Splash offered a great breakfast every morning but unfortunately the outside bar was not open throughout the week (only on the weekend). Our accommodations were clean and much like any other hotel. I would definitely recommend The Royal St. Kitts to anyone considering a trip to St. Kitts.

Nathan (9/5): Very good value for all the amenities - Beautiful amenities, next to restaurants and supermarket, close to airport, and a 15-min walk from Frigate Bay Beach plus its numerous bars. The staff were extremely friendly, and the chairs attached to each room were nice for relaxing at night. The ceiling light wasn’t working in one of our bedrooms, and the bed underneath the sofa had broken components, but neither were big issues at all. There were other lamps, and the sofa was already comfy to sleep on as is.

Shellysteve (10/5): A Royal Experience - We stayed at the Royal St Kitts for the last leg of our island hopping holiday. We had a single room with a kitchenette ( no oven but range top) The location is good. You’re about 10-15 minutes tops from the airport. You’re within a 1/2 hour max walk to Timothy beach. There is a mid size grocery store about a minute walk from the lobby where you can pick up your essentials and alcohol. The grocery store was well stocked with a good selection. There is another smaller grocery store just down the road near the restaurants You are within a short walk to several restaurants that can easily be navigated even at night. The room itself was your basic hotel style. Bed lots of storage, separate bathroom with shower, tv microwave, fridge, safe ,and our room hot a range top and sink so you could prepare your own means. Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond ensuring that your stay was pleasant. Once a week the management hosted managers cocktail party in the lobby bar providing drinks and finger foods. The managers made themselves available to discuss any issues you might have once again ensuring your stay was pleasant. The grounds were impeccably kept . Our room was neat and clean upon entry. The property has two pools, a restaurant on site , a lobby bar , games section and a poolside bar. There were ample loungers around both pools. Pool and beach towels were available I have only three areas of concern for this property. By no means were they significant enough to change my good rating for this place. 1) The games section is one area that they need to address. $10 per person per hour is way over priced to play billiards!! $5 per hour is fare enough regardless if there are one or two playing. 2) they need to establish some ground rules on not permitting Large floaties in their pools. While we were there a family with three children arrived one day with one very large unicorn floaty . That day the three children yelled and screamed disrupting other guests fighting over the floaty. The next day they arrived with three very large floaties which took up at least half the pool. ( I’m not exaggerating they were very large) Limit floaty size to something small or don’t allow them at all. 3) there is no airport shuttle. You must take a taxi which they were very quick to provide. Again the minor deficiencies listed above did not affect my five star rating, however, they are significant enough to advise future travellers. I’m sure if management reads these reviews my concerns will be addressed moving forward. All in all I would book this place again when coming back to St Kitts .

Ridley (7/5): - Staff were friendly & helpful. We really enjoyed the "Splash" bar. The room air conditioner above our bed malfunctioned. Ice & dirty water fell onto my wife who was laying in bed. We contacted the front desk & had to pack up & move to another room. The replacement room looked older (no USB ports & fewer power outlets) and faced the parking lot.

The Royal St. Kitts Hotel was the perfect home base—great location, clean rooms, and incredibly friendly staff. Splash restaurant never missed (the filet was 🔥), and everything was just minutes away. We booked a Power Cat cruise to Salt Plage, relaxed at Shipwreck while the kids chased crabs, and had nonstop fun with St. Kitts Water Sports. Flyboarding for the kids, jet skis for us, a clear-bottom night kayak (we followed a turtle!), and an epic jet boat ride around the island—every day was an adventure. Perfect mix of relaxation and thrill. We’ll definitely be back! 🌴☀️

In a great location serving great food - Friendly staff, great food, good bar, great location Air conditioning was a bit noisy. We didn’t have the best view but we didn’t pay for a view so would probably pay for a better view next time
Deanna (10/5): Location, helpful staff, spacious rooms - The staff were lovely and helpful. Shout outs to CJ, Blondell, David and Andrew. Every need/request accommodated. I thought I had booked a room with a view but didn't and we were moved to a lovely 2nd floor room with a view of the garden and the pool in the near distance. Our room safe was locked on arrival and David arrived to unlock it (alas, nothing of value inside :)). The secondary pool was lovely and quiet. Location can't be beat. Rooms are very well equipped. I got a few mosquito bites while sitting in the shade of the main pool but such is life, I guess.
