Son anglais est excellent, ce qui a grandement facilité nos échanges. Le logement est parfait : confortable, bien entretenu et idéalement situé au bord de la plage, loin de l’agitation des grands resorts. C’est l’endroit idéal pour vivre une expérience plus authentique à Hoi An. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !

A/C didn’t work well, but they said they were going to fix it, so it should not be a problem for the next guest. Mattress is old and dirty, and they needed new sheets as the sheets were stained.

• Arabella (10/5): Authentic Vietnam beach home stay with a luxurious feel - This was one of our favourite places we stayed during our whole long trip to Vietnam. Diem was so kind and communicative from before we arrived to after we’d left and gave us so many helpful tips and recommendations for the area. The room is spacious, beautifully designed and and an authentically Vietnamese home stay while also being right on the beach and with great access to all the restaurants and beach bars of An Bang. Breakfast was so generous, fresh and delicious and we loved sitting out on our private terrace listening to the sound of the waves so close. Would 100% recommend, and we will return if we can one day! Nothing!

• Jan (8/5): Ruhiges Homestay nah am Strand - Sehr nette Inhaberin, die uns ausführlich mit wirklich guten Tips für Restaurant, Cafés und Ausflüge versorgt hat. Die Unterkunft am Ende einer kleinen Gasse war sehr ruhig (nur das Geräusch von Wellen und Wind). Das bei booking beschriebene Hundegebell war eher die Ausnahme und nie nachts zu hören. Leckeres Frühstück mit Hauptgericht, Kaltgetränk, Kafee oder Tee zur Auswahl. Dazu ein Obstteller. Kein Meerblick (in An Bang aber bei kaum einer Unterkunft gegeben). Strand in der Vorsaison relativ schmal und verschmutzt. Während unseres Aufenthaltes wetterbedingt Badeverbot in weiten Teilen (kann aber die Unterkunft nichts dafür)

In die Altstadt führt ein netter Weg durch Reisfelder (ca. 1 h Gehzeit) oder sonst mit Grab (Taxi), geht auch ganz schnell!! Diem, unser Host hat eine wertvolle Arbeit gemacht. Sie ist sehr herzlich, gibt gute Tipps und hat uns einige Touren organisiert. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gemütlich!! Das Frühstück war super und wird auf der eigenen Terrasse genossen. Wärmstens zu empfehlen!!

• Christiane (10/5): Dream Hideaway - What a gem of a place to stay!!! We love love loved it! Run by wonderful Diem, who was the most hospitable host, so kind and so helpful in ensuring we have happy days at Hideaway! She recommended really good restaurants, tailors and excursions and helped to arrange for them - she went above and beyond our expectations. The villa we came to enjoy was absolutely perfect for us: spacious, comfortable beds, moskito nets, A/C, fridge, modern style with traditional elements, a beautiful patio, outdoor shower, tropical garden… in the morning we could do yoga on the patio and enjoy our breakfast there (we recommend the pho and fruit salad!). Just a few steps out the garden gate there is the beach - the perfect beach! Fisher boats next to sunchairs, no loud music, beautiful sand and the best Vietnamese food prepared by the local ladies! We will try to come back - this place became very special to us!
• Kym (8/5): - The accommodation is so close to the beach! All the staff are lovely especially Diem. The accommodation is rustic but good value. Hard to come up with anything. There is a 100m walk up the alley with your suitcases from where the Grab cars drop you off. Not easy to get vegan food for breakfast but the fruit and rolls are lovely. The shower wasn't working when we checked in but our host Diem, got someone there very quickly to fix it :)
• Gavin (10/5): A lovely peaceful hideaway by the beach - It’s tucked away just by the beach and felt very private. It is kept spotlessly clean by the lovely staff. There was plenty of space for three of us, two adults upstairs and a child downstairs, plus a terrace outside. Diem, who manages the property, was absolutely charming and gave us excellent recommendations on trips, restaurants and shops plus an open offer to call her if we needed any help during our stay. A lovely peaceful hideaway which is a great base for exploring Hoi An (10 mins by taxi) and Danang
• Bruno (10/5): Bungalow proche mer parfait! - Une semaine sur place dans le bungalow double, 2 adultes et 2 adolescentes . Superbe endroit tenu par une personne exceptionnelle, Diem, qui a su organiser nos vacances dans ce petits paradis. Diem s'occupe de tout avec gentillesse extreme et rigueur, elle connait bien les gouts Européens, en plus de parler un Anglais impeccable. Personnel très chaleureux et fiable qui s'adapte à toutes les situations et autres demandes avec une réactivité hors du commun. Accès direct à la plage. Pas de bruit sauf ceux de la vie quotidienne, on est dans une petite urbanisation très sympa avec tout à proximité, resto, bars, supermarchés, massages, ongles... Bungalow TRES propre et très bien climatisé. Espace extèrieur "chill" avec lit de plage et ventilateur + frigo / évier extérieur. Les environs ont de quoi faire passer une semaine bien remplie avec chaque jour une activité différente. De plus, super temps en août, pas de pluie même s'il faisait un peu chaud. Que demander de plus??? Nous essayerons de revenir, encore merci Dïem. Rien! Tout est parfait

• Michelle (10/5): The lovely Hideaway - Diem was a lovely person in charge of the everyday at the homestay. And it is a homestay, not a hotel (as I thought it would be). As such, there is a family vibe, excellent home cooked breakfast delivered to your door, help with sorting out a local SIM card and so much more. Its a minute from the beach and the beach is clean and the sea clear: no hazardous coral around. The place is also a minute away from a FANTASTIC restaurant: The Moon. Once you get to meet Diem, she will give you all local knowledge you need. I've moved from there to a fancy 5* resort now. I would have lived to have stayed at Diem's instead but occupancy is limited because (its essentially a family home), so I couldn't. I will bring my partner to here next year, for 2 weeks - not one I just had by myself. Thank you so much Diem and your wonderful family for making my stay so lovely ❤️❤️❤️ N.A

She was welcoming on arrival and spent adequate time to explain the area to us and recommendations of what activities we should consider. She also helped us get tickets to events at a better rate! My daughter adored her and the rest of the staff - especially after they helped us clean my daughter's scrapes after a fall. highly recommend for a quaint beach-side holiday! water pressure for the shower could be better.
• Adlrope (10/5): Tropical Storm. - Lovely local unassuming accommodation. Lovely room and facilities and stones throw from beach. Unfortunately, tropical storm meant three days of incessant rain. Which rendered beach holiday null and void. Staff superb, breakfast fine.. Just wish we had had better weather. There is nothing to dislike.
• Simona (8/5): Very good - The cleaning part is on the top level, also the facilities. The space in the Villa is big, bathroom is nice. I would rate higher if the price will be 50% less. Diem is super helpful, super nice and she’s the one from 100 people in Vietnam who speaks English. The other stuff is rude, breakfast is not sufficient, the barking dogs keep you away the whole night and the system of breakfast time is absolutely stupid. We paid the same price in Hà Nội for high luxury.

The included breakfast is the best I've had in Vietnam, it includes local and western selection as well as fresh juices and smoothies, also lovely iced coffee. But, without a doubt, the best part of our stay was the staff. They are all so lovely and do everything possible to make your stay the best experience. I highly recommend this homestay.

• Chris (8/5): A surprisingly wonderful adventure of really slowing down - What a sweet get away spot. The hideaway is 4 miles from Hoi An. I might visit Hoi An again when I return to Vietnam I will stay at the hideaway for full weekend. The room is spacious and has its own little courtyard. You order breakfast the night before because Mrs. Hong goes to the market in the morning for supplies. At least once have the Cao Làu. The whole vibe is of tranquility. For English speakers, Ms. Diem, is invaluable. Her organization and helpfulness is a highlight of my entire trip. Nothing. I’d go back in a heartbeat

Located in the treeline overlooking the beach, it offers the convenience of quick dips or lazing away on the many deck chairs lining the beach. Great food and beverages can be ordered from the attendants if you choose the latter. A true tropical paradise. Special thanks to Diem, a friendly, helpful and welcoming owner. The bungalow has definite rustic charm and there isn't much to dislike. There's no work desk but the coffee table and lounge chair is quite adequate for laptops. Lighting and ambience encourages rest and relaxation.

Gorgeous environment with many plants, you feel like in the jungle. They make your breakfast by order and serving at your patio. Such a relaxing place and only 40 steps away from the beach. Diễm is absolutely wonderful and professional. She reached out before checking and gave me all the information and direction. I highly recommend to spend time here. Hoi An is 10 minutes away.

The bed is very comfortable and there is good AC and warm water for a shower. The place is so nicely decorated and we loved hanging out on the balcony. The bathroom is open to the outdoors, so you should expect to see some critters. A super tasty breakfast is brought to your room every morning. Last but not least, Diem and her whole family were so helpful the entire trip, with suggestions about what to do, where to eat, and general hospitality. Highly recommend staying here!!!

The rooms are very spacious, really clean and beautifully designed, the bathroom was beautiful and the shower was great! The day bed on the patio was an absolute dream for lounging when the rain came or the sun got too much! The gardens and walk down to the beautiful beach we're spectacular, the beach being about a 20 second walk over the small dunes. The location was far enough away from the centre of An Bang to be really quiet and peaceful but close enough to walk to everything you might need. A grab into Hoi An old town was super easy and cost no more that 72k. Honestly I cannot fault the hideaway, we extended our stay as we loved it so much we just didn't want to leave. If you're still debating whether or not to book this place, stop and book it now! We hope to visit again some day! Thank you Diem, for making the end of our trip to Vietnam so special! Absolutely nothing!

• Young (10/5): Great family vacation in an eco friendly, in the middle of nature. Definately will come back again. - So beautiful place in a great location, just next to the An Bang beach and all great restaurant and Spa in a 10-15 mins walking distance. All our journey was very relaxing and smooth. Our family love this place and Diem’s hospitality. We love their garden and one of highlights was very yummy breakfast, which was delivered to the room every morning with our choice. So relaxing and happy moment! Hard to say. I suggested Diem that it would be great if she can put label which one is shampoo and the other is for body shower.

• Brooks (10/5): Perfect combination of comfort and casual - stay here if you're lucky enough to book it! - Everything about the experience at An Bang Hideaway was stellar! The breakfast was delicious. The garden was magical. The location on the beach was just perfect. Diem--the manager--is lovely. The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer!

• Xuanthao (10/5): Cozy like home. - Just a few steps to the beach with a private path and gate. A quiet, super clean and well equipped bungalow with a nice garden. The owner, Ms. Diem is a very enthusiastic professional host. The maid, Ms. Mai made us decent breakfasts and effectively supportive. The place is worth the money. If there is any, that should be from us, not from them.

• Felix (10/5): Beautiful beach retreat - Thanks for a great stay. The bungalows are very comfortable and are surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants and are 2 minutes to a very nice quiet end of An Bang beach. On the beach there are comfortable recliners at the Three Ladies beach cafe - where you can also get nice food served to you at your recliner. The local streets are also beautiful and quiet - a nice mix of residential houses and hotels and palm trees and other tropical plants. It’s a perfect walk home from dinner at one of the amazing seafood restaurants! The staff at An Bang Hideaway are also charming. I hope to come back soon!

Great value for money when compared to other - Everything was great about our stay, from the accommodation and location to the host and the styling of the property. Water and drinks were available in the fridge for a very reasonable price, and the breakfast was brought to our terrace each morning at a time of our choosing. We think this is probably the best place we have stayed in so far in Vietnam, great value for money and relaxing overall experience. Nothing, only the fact that we couldn’t extend our stay because the property was already booked up for the week :(. We moved down the road for two nights but would have preferred to stay put.

The breakfast was delicious and served to us in our garden seating area with a good selection to choose from. All the staff were very helpful, nice and friendly. We had such a lovely stay here and did not want to leave. We wished we had longer and would definitely book again. We had our own private entrance, and the beach was less than a minute away. Diem provided us with lots of suggestions for trips, activities, and places to eat. We could not have been happier and really loved our stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing and just what we needed after a very busy and packed trip so far in Vietnam. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nothing. We were really happy with everything.

She even gave me a ride by scooter to the main road so I wouldn’t have to walk with my luggage in the heat to my taxi. Breakfast served on your own patio.
