- Ewan (8/5): - Gorgeous layout of the hotel, with loads of vivid colour, plant life (mix of real and fake) and decoration. Two large clean pools. Though there is nowhere to sit next to them, there are 3 loungers a short walk from one of them so you can get lucky. Welcome staff absolutely lovely. The water refill station was very hit or miss, mostly miss, so we ended up having to buy water bottles. Breakfast options at the cafe on site are limited, with 2 options and both very large. If you want a light or healthy breakfast you will need to walk ~20 mins to town. Also it doesn't open until 8am so if you want an earlier breakfast you will likewise need to walk to town.

- Sem (8/5): Prachtig, inderdaad een paradijs. Comfortabel bed. - Het resort is inderdaad echt een paradijs. Heel kleurrijk, vol met mooie vogels, bloemen en planten. De bedden zijn comfortabel en het uitzicht erg mooi. Het personeel is erg zakelijk en zie je verder weinig.

- Karina (6/5): Optisch wirklich schön.. mit vielen Einschränkungen - Das Hotel ist optisch außergewöhnlich, aber auch gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es war sehr sauber. Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel. Außer Nachts, da war es durch den Schein der Lampe, die unmittelbar vor einer Glasscheibe über der Eingangstür des Zimmers angebracht ist leider zu hell. Das Haus ist wirklich hellhörig, sei es durch die Nachbarzimmer, den Autolärm vorm Haus oder der Bar nebenan. Die Nächte waren dementsprechend nicht wirklich gut. Der Pool ist schön, leider gibt es jedoch nirgends am Pool Liegemöglichkeiten. Wir würden es mit Kind nicht nicht nochmal buchen.

- tim (10/5): If you want to relax in Paradise, this is the place to go. - The atmosphere was amazing! The landscaping is like a garden of Eden. Very romantic place to just enjoy the scenery. They have two restaurants and a drink bar. There is no easy way to walk from here. You need a car, or take the bus to get around. There is a small town to the north but not much to do.

Two beautiful pools and lush tropical gardens. It's obvious this place has been a labor of love Can't walk from the resort as main road has no paths and lots of bends. Plenty of grab available if you don't have a car.

Det var ikke anbefalt å bade i havet. Lost Paradise ligger for seg selv og man må bruke grab for å komme seg rundt til områdene med butikker og restauranter.

- z-Arjen-z (3/5): - Ruime kamer. Elke dag gratis water. De douche was een losse handdouche. Het bed was keihard. De kamer zat naast een restaurantkeuken die veel lawaai maakte. Geen ligbedden bij de zwembaden. Eén zwembad grensde aan een parkeerplaats. Er is geen alcohol verkrijgbaar ook niet in het restaurant. De jongen die bij de entree stond gunde ons geen blik waardig. Heel onvriendelijk op alle dagen dat we er verbleven. We zijn na een aantal dagen gewisseld van hotel want dit hotel was niet wat wij ervan hadden verwacht.

Spacious bali style room with large comfy bed, fridge, kettle & all necessary toiletries. Thoughtful, Hearty & Greenery decor every corners possible transforming to a Lost Paradise by the beach. Reasonable price café for breakfast set with guest discount. Nice infinity pool facing beach and another pool by garden. Only drawback is narrow pave & limited parking, quite a challenge. Need a drive to nearby attractions or eatery.

- Pearson (4/5): - Hotel was OK. Design is nice. Rooms are large and well laid out with a great terrace overlooking the sea. Staff are friendly and the restaurants good. But unfortunately walls are extremely thin and the other guests were partying in their rooms well beyond midnight all the nights we were there (different guests, 3 night in a row, so not an isolated incident). Hotel seemed powerless to stop this so no-one in our party had any sleep plus my teenage son was threatened with violence and called a racist for asking guests shouting outside his room at 1am to quieten down please. The 2 restaurants are very popular with locals (and good) which means that the resort is much busier than you would imagine for the number of rooms... Plus there is also a bird scaring machine that makes noise every few minutes during the day and a siren that goes off if anyone chooses to walk down the beach. To be avoided if you are looking for a haven of peace.
- Cornelia (10/5): Ein individuelles Hotel mit vielen Blumen und Pflanzen, gutem Essen, freundlichem Service und für malayische Verhältniss - Lage zwischen George Town und Nationalpark. Das Ressort ist bepflanzt mit Blumen,palmen, sehr grün und an jeder Stelle gibt es etwas zu gucken. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und mit Seeblick. Wir hatten den Pool ganz für uns allein (aufpassen, wenn Ramadan Ende ist und Schulferien, dann wird es voll) eine Oase in der sonst lauten Stadt und den Straßen drumherum. Kein Hotel nach Standard, sondern sehr individuell. Es hat uns rundum gut gefallen, kein einziger Mangel.

It was a wonderful experience as it has two balconies and we were satisfied with the room as it was comfy and spacious.. - Claire (6/5): Good stay overall - Lovely atmosphere and decor feels like a little paradise lost in the town. The swimming pools are a decent size. It was very clean and the personnel is quite friendly. Our room was quite noisy as we could hear the other rooms quite a lot. Also lots of restaurants clients walking in front of our windows until quite late so there was not much privacy. The swimming pools would benefit from some areas with chairs/lounges to be able to relax a bit more. There is no room service. The cafe serves food but offer is quite limited and closed one day a week so no options for breakfast then. Very inconvenient if you don’t have a car as not much shops/restaurants around aside from the one at the hotel.

Daraufhin wurde uns ohne Probleme und ohne Aufzahlung für fast 14 Tage eine sehr große Suite kostenlos bzw. ohne zusätzlichen Aufpreis überlassen. Hier hatten wir alles was wir wollten inkl. eines großen Balkons mit Blick direkt auf das Meer. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt ca. 14 Tage dort in diesem Hotel sehr schön. Man muss nur wissen das es kein westliches Hotel - sondern ein sehr farbenfrohes typisch einheimisches malaiisches Hotel ist. Die Lage - die Einfahrt ist direkt an der Straße gelegen. Außerhalb des Hotels ist es zu Fuß sehr schwer und gefährlich zwecks den Straßenverkehrs und mangels fehlender Gehsteige. Hier ist nur die Möglichkait mit Bus oder mit Grab - das beste und günstigste Taxiservice das ich je auf meinen Reisen in Asien erlebt habe, kein Wunder bei einem Treibstoffpreis von ca. 40 Cent pro Liter.
- Jocelyn (6/5): - the staff went out of their way to please us and make us comfortable and they were very friendly in the cafe. the staff in the restaurant were also very friendly although the lady manager was interfering in front of her guests and I'm sure it embarrassed her staff, and they were doing a good job without her interference. also the location although peaceful and relaxing was a little bit remote and we needed cabs and taxis for everywhere we went. because of the rocky foreshore we couldn't even walk to any destinations. workmen we're outside our room when we arrived exhausted from a plane trip hammering away and making a lot of noise and would not stop when we asked until we dragged ourselves to the office to report it and the manager rang them and told them to stop. there was no phone in our room to call the office... we were given a free upgrade however the bed was very squeaky and kept waking each other up.
