- Torsten (9/5): - Sehr schöne Anlage mit großen Zimmern. Frühstück war gut. Angenehmer Fitness- und Pool-Bereich. Sehr nettes Personal.
- Sophie (10/5): Comfortable nights rest. - Great location comfortable for two adults and our dog. Breakfast is wonderful. Zero complaints
- slymoan (9/5): Expensive for what you get but did the job. - Its a hotel, nothing fancy but its clean and comfortable and gets the job done. There is a fantastic restaurant the Oak Tree Northwest Bar & Grill within walking distance which is a must see/experience establishment. Great food and drink at a very reasonable price. A little pricey for what you get.
- Sharon (10/5): - The reception manager, Ryan, was charming, kind and patient. The room was clean and large. The jacuzzi was excellent, in short, it was perfect.

- Lena (10/5): Always a comfortable and convenient place to stay. - I regularly stay at this Best Western hotel when I’m in Ashland because they consistently meet high standards of comfort and convenience.
- Kurt (7/5): For the price, pick there competitor just a parking lot awaya way, for better amenities and rooms. - It has a gym Was told the hot tube would be fixed, never was during my stay, after a workout, relaxing in the hot is nice…it was one of the reasons I choose there to stay.. never again
- David (7/5): Overall it was good. - The room was nice but water from the previous occupants' shower made the carpet near the bathroom door wet. We had to place a towel on the floor to soak up the water. The room was nice but water from the previous occupants' shower made the carpet near the bathroom door wet. - Tammy (10/5): - The property outside is beautiful!! Small breakfast room
- Susan (8/5): -
- John (10/5): Great place to stay - Clean property, quiet, staff is friendly. Comfortable bed. Nothing
- Caroline (8/5): Easy in and out on long road trip with two dogs. Nice to have the restaurant closeby & the complimentary breakfast - Friendly and helpful staff (Ryan) at great location
- Moyle (9/5): good experience - breakfast very good. NA
- Gregory (10/5): Easy location to get to and close to restaurants and worth the money. - Size of room. Room and bathroom was clean. The mattress was comfy. The breakfast had several items to choose from. Easy parking, felt secure and easy access to and from I 5 interstate. The staff was friendly. The room was bitterly cold when we entered it. Felt once room reservation was set, someone should have turned the heat on. Other than that, the stay was good.
- Trudy (7/5): Adequate but nothing to write home about. - The staff was friendly. The location was convenient. I didn't like having to lug my bags upstairs. The quality of the breakfast offerings was not great.
- Kendra (10/5): - This is a fantastic hotel to stay at if you have dogs. The doors open directly to outside for quick and easy potty breaks and there's a lovely grassy dog area with poop bags, a trash can, and chairs for relaxing with your pooch. We will definitely stay here again next time we're traveling through the area.
- Marilyn (9/5): Pet friendly, good walking area, sheets and treats provided. Best care for pets! - Pet friendly support.
- Viskov (10/5): -
- Loftis (10/5): Excellent. Will for sure recommend to friends traveling with dogs. - The pet amenities were perfect. We loved having the designated pet area and it was so cute to provide the extra blanket and treats for my dogs.
The breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had a hotel.
Everyone on the staff that I met was super nice. The air conditioner was loud every time it turned on and off and it woke me up a couple times.
- Peter (8/5): It met our needs and expectations. -
- Ronald (10/5): -
- Scott (7/5): -
- Judy (8/5): - Breakfast was fine. The room was very dark. Plants along the walkway needed to be trimmed back - they hung over the walkways. Rooms on first floor seemed to be reserved for people with pets. At 80+ years of age I didn’t appreciate the fact I had to lug my suitcase up the stairs to the second floor. I didn’t want a room that had had dogs in it so had to take second floor.
- Catherine (9/5): A-plus stay. Extra treat: the hydrangea hedges. -
- Sandra (9/5): -
- Lori (9/5): - Breakfast & staff were exceptional ❤️
- Rick (10/5): -
- Gerardo (8/5): Good place to stay for the price but expect it to be outdated and have cockaroaches - Staff was really nice Property was outdated compared to the pictures, lots of homeless in the area and the room had cockroaches killed 3 during my stay
- Supriya (8/5): Great, easy thank you -
- Josh (10/5): Had a great stay here, friendly staff and clean rooms! - Nice space, clean property and rooms! Great customer service No complaints
- Connie (9/5): Clean, comfortable convienient location. - the hot breakfast was good, yogurt with granola, dried fruit options, fruit; apples and oranges, The scrambled eggs were only OK, the bacon was very good. Pancakes available , bagels and cream cheese etc.
The room was clean, large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable.
The staff were very helpful and able to give us items we asked for., Like a couple of glass wine glasses and utensils for our take out meal.
- Mark (8/5): -
- Katherine (8/5): -
- Kathleen (6/5): - Very dark room even with lights on
- Tyler (7/5): -
- Tweten (10/5): -
- Sandra (9/5): - Very Dog friendly. Gave our dog a mat to sleep on.
- Jill (9/5): -
- Jack (8/5): -
- Randy (10/5): -
- Rakel (10/5): -
- Frances (4/5): Unpleasant! - Location Very heavy air freshener used, overpowering, kept window open to let in fresh air. Smell of urine in bathroom, despite clean surfaces. Clean but skimpy bedding. No elevator. The cooked breakfast : egg, bacon, oatmeal, sweet roll, was very bad!
- Klarissa (10/5): Absolutely amazing will 100% be going again - The staff was very friendly and had our hotel Key ready as he saw us pulling in. We had to change our reservation to come in really late because we had unexpected travel emergencies and he was very kind. The facilities were really great actually. The room was very nice and spacious. It was one of the cleanest hotels I've been in for the price point. Very well taken care of and felt like a home away from home in a way. The only thing that I would say is a microwave in the room would be nice there's a mini fridge there's a Keurig and an iron but there is like no microwave.
- Carolyn (8/5): It’s my usual stop on my way to Eugene and my way home - Location and price Nothing
- Rebecca (6/5): -
- Irv (10/5): - good
- Dolores (8/5): Almost perfect stay - Room and breakfast was adequate. Nice staff, everyone eager to help. Plenty of parking. Close to freeway access but room was quiet. Door did not always lock and was not a new issue. Front desk tells customers to bang the door knob with a shoe which is fine if it was not at the crack of dawn but at least 3 other people were having the same problem on the section of the hotel we were at. It wakes other people up when you start hitting the door with a shoe early in the morning. We were told it’s caused by the weather but there must certainly be a way to fix this problem. The shoe banging does work!
- Kerstin (10/5): -
- Patricia (8/5): For woman traveling alone, it felt very safe and very clean, and the staff was helpful - Location was great. Staff was great room was very clean. It’s winter and there was nothing on the bed but a little tiny, thin something and a sheet. Yes, there was an extra blanket you could put on and the heater works great, but the bedding was more like summerweight bedding they should adapt to the colder weather. Also women like tissues there was no tissues in the room.
If you have to charge more for putting tissues in the room charge more, but you need to put tissues in the room
- Kelsey (1/5): -
- Dr. Dave (8/5): Overall good, poor TV, hardly usable. No elevators? - Great staff, beautiful place. Quiet experience. Overall nicely done. Wife and I would return but you TV reception is among the worst I have seen. (pixilated, black screen, freezing blur, etc.). Not a single elevator? The ADA lawyers just haven't found you yet.
- Yoshioka (10/5): -
- KMunsell (6/5): Here’s What You’re Getting - Understanding that this is more of a 2.5 star class of lodging, I’m just sharing a few observations from my recent one night stay:
1. I’d describe the format as a motel in that all rooms open to the outside.
2. It’s a really old place, but in pretty good condition considering its age. Room and bedding very clean.
3. Really excellent front desk person who took the time to orient me to the amenities.
4. Rooms are fairly noisy. You can hear other guests talking or moving around in room above and in the sides. Some interesting traffic sounds audible also that startled us in middle of night.
4. 2 Free EV charging spots but they are very slow. We were at 20% battery and over 8 hours it got to about 50% charge.
5. There’s a nice grassy area for dogs with poop bags and disposal bin that’s very accessible right across from front office, but at night it’s very dark so easy to step on remnants that previous dog owners may have missed—bring a flashlight, my iPhone flashlight wasn’t bright enough to help much. It’d be nice if they had lighting there.
6. Pet friendly at a very reasonable cost of $20. Other places gouge you on this, but their rate was very fair.
Overall for the class of lodging it was clean and perfectly satisfactory. I’d just say the price was out of whack and it should’ve been about $50 less than it was per night. At the rate we paid of $200 per night, I’d go to another newer 3 star class value hotel chain instead.
- Robert (9/5): Great clean room ,great TV, - The only thing we had a problem with were the stairs
- Sally (8/5): -
- Lynn (10/5): - Always comfortable bed Nothing
- Mark (8/5): - Its ok
- susan (8/5): Good value and convenient - Comfortable bed, pool and jacuzzi Rooms are dark even with sunshine
- Jenni (8/5): - Location very convenient, close to I5 and close enough to downtown
- Elizabeth (8/5): Perfect for what we neeeded - Nice sized rooms No elevators
- Paul (6/5): -
- bruce (10/5): - The room was clean and property very nice
- John (6/5): - This is a nice place to stay and we stay a couple times a year on our way through. This time we stayed in the executive suite with kitchen and living room. Nice space but they didn't supply any kichen towels, paper towels, or dish soap in the VERY sparsely equipped kitchen area.
- Cathy (10/5): - Staff were all so nice and helpful.
- Susan (8/5): - The room was clean and spacious for me. The soap and shampoo products were both appreciated and good quality. The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast had a nice variety. Good coffee. Value was decent.
- Reed (10/5): - Great staff.
- Joseph (10/5): - We had to adjust our time frame and all came out well.
- Jeanine (10/5): Treat yourself to a beautiful place to stay even if it’s only for one night…you’ll feel wonderful! - The building itself has so much personality, it looks like a picture from the medieval period. The room felt so spacious even with a king-sized bed. Large rose bushes adored the outside of my room adding to that special time period. The room was on the ground floor near the dog area which was so convenient because my little Chihuahua Abby, came along too. Nothing!
- Michelle (7/5): Easy access and very pretty spaces in and around the building - Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Staff was great. The bed and pillows were not so great. Pool looked nice and the building was very pretty The bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable.
- Carlos (10/5): Cute Inn with a delicious breakfast - Such a cute property! Love the physical appearance. Staff was super kind ! N/a
- ROGER (9/5): -
- Kenneth (9/5): - It was nicely quiet. Cigarette butts on the stairs up to my room were there for days.
- Douglas (10/5): - Very cool Windsor style architecture, spacious, pool, big breakfast space.
Dog friendliest ever, complete with top sheet and biscuit for dog at check-in and two dog potty spots.
7 minutes drive from downtown Ashland and Saheksphere.
- Katelyn (8/5): - Great stay! Clean and quiet. Did not realize the doors are exterior facing as a solo traveler when I booked this, but I felt very safe.
- Voyager26122889278 (2/5): No parking at night - If you are coming back after an evening theater performance there is no parking available. They allowed a semi, trucks with trailers and stored trailers in the lot taking up multiple spots. We had no room service during our 3 night stay.
- Brad (3/5): Don't go there! - Affordable Rude staff. Lack of cleanliness and maintenance. .Management allowed Semi trucks, RVs and trucks with trailers to park across several parking spots. Creating no parking in the evening. We had to park across a very busy street after the theatre. Also management admitted the owner allowed someone to store a utility trailer and snowmobiles permanently in the parking lot taking up multiple guest spots I won't go back since I felt it was unsafe to find a parking spot at night after the theatre. If I wanted that experience I would have stayed at a truck stop.
- Kevin (7/5): -
- Andreas (10/5): -
- Spicer (8/5): Excellent Staff! - The staff went above and beyond in many ways, including helping us by providing an excellent parking spot for our truck and trailer, along with finding a necklace that was left in the room (and ended up in the laundry as it was left in the bed) a few days later!!! Very thankful and impressed with Ashland’s Best Western staff! The room had a scent like distant cigarette smoke and perfume. Not ideal but everything else was well worth it!
- Ann or Ernie (4/5): - The beds are horribly hard. Never found a comfortable position and didn’t get much sleep.
- Cheryl (10/5): -
- Nanci (10/5): - Huge gym - pet friendly-thank you
- Thomas (10/5): - Very nice place, good location!
- crawford (9/5): I would stay there again if I go up that way - really cool place has everything you need if you like to swim use the gym Good breakfast Very clean and very accoma dating had a little problem finding the place . only because unfamiliar with the area and my gps was not working well
- Eaton (6/5): -
- Susan (10/5): - Front desk staff was very though and friendly. Appreciated the time he spent making sure I knew where my room was. Nice that I had a first floor room and parking was very close to room.
- Jenny (8/5): Inviting and comfortable - The appearance of the Inn is lovely. They have ample parking. The breakfast was hot and fresh, with a nice variety. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, although sparse in decor. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Our room was next to the housekeeping room, and the carts were left outside our room for an extended period making it difficult to get out of our room.
- Juanita (4/5): -
- Steve (8/5): -
- Jermaine (10/5): - This is a great hotel, clean and nice. If you don't want to overspend in Ashland I highly recommend this place. I travel with dogs and it was very pet friendly as well.
- Larysa (10/5): - Very very good!!
- Julia (10/5): - Our stay was amazing in every way!
- sooz24 (10/5): Great Place To Stay - Fabulous Hotel with a great Breakfast. Quiet vroom. Only negative I could say is they need to upgrade their lightbulbs to daylight bulbs instead of soft white, which make the room extremely dark. They have one daylight bulb over the bathroom mirror but ALL lighting needs to change to the brighter lighting.
