She kept the food area clean at all times and refilled the breakfast items when needed. She was a lovely lady and was so friendly to everyone. She was the best of any hotel we have stayed in. The A/C in our room was nice and quiet. No rattles!

- Lewis (10/5): Gem found in a Sagebrush - We had been on the road for the last three days. Late days and early mornings hunting and driving. This we a gem, the property was clean on the exterior. The night staff was friendly. The beds were excellent. My words will not express how bad I needed 8 hours of sleep and their beds were excellent. Breakfast was just want we needed. I’m from the East Coast, so I don’t know when or if I’ll ever be back in Brady Texas. But if you find yourself traveling through. Stay here. The price was excellent and the bed was equal. N/A

If not for that everything else in the room was totally acceptable and the beds were very comfortable.. The desk staff was great! The breakfast was good and normal for a complimentary breakfast. The coffee machine was individual cup and very good.

- annette (10/5): Great and care service - The service was great. I locked myself out of my room, as I was loading my truck. My service dog was locked in the room. One of the ladies immediately helped me. When eating breakfast, another lady helped me with my food, so I could take it to my room. The service was so great it made my stress level minimal.

- APRIL (7/5): Summer heat - Location was fine First night, the room was extremely HOT. Upon unlocking the door with the card key, the light wasn't very visible, but instead, I had to reply on hearing the click to know it was unlocked. On the 2nd day of staying, folding back the sheets to get in bed, we left a towel in the bed the night before, and that towel was still there when the sheets were folded back. Also, the ice machine didn't work. There wasn't a sign or reason, just nothing.

Very nice staff - the cleaning staff was efficient - the grounds were nice and the parking was good! There were 3 ladies and all of us agreed that we would stay here again when we came to Brady.
- Rodney (6/5): Choices are limited - I've actually stayed in this hotel before. I needed a last minute place to sleep and this was my only reputable place available. I'd say overall the room was fine. The only negative was my bed smelled like urine in a spot. I believe an animal probably urinated and it dried and wasn't cleanup up or something. I noticed it at first but couldn't figure out what it was. But since I checked in at 1am and was exhausted, I just dealt with it. So that was gross. I didn't like the breakfast. I didn't check out anything else, as I simply needed a place to sleep. Plus when I arrived at 1am, there were people in the parking lot drinking and smoking and having a party, which I thought was weird. But it's Brady...so maybe they have limited options as well.
- Kris (4/5): - Air conditioner did not cool properly. Refrigerator was running extremely loudly, so we moved the tv cabinet to unplug it. We believe the plug was overloaded, and not up to fire code. This was a normal 2 receptacle outlet with an adapter in it accommodating the tv, refrigerator, microwave, and lamp plugs.

- Karen (5/5): It was below average for the price - Rooms were clean Front desk staff did not say hello, goodbye or thank you. All business. They charged 15 bucks a night for a small dog. The phone cord was ripped out of the handset and left that way, the drain in the sink was broken and had to be propped open with a knife, WiFi was a complete joke. You couldn’t stay connected for more than a minute.

The only thing I didn't like was that the room didn't have any ceiling lights. The only lights in the bedroom were table lamps and floor lamps. The area with the sink didn't have a lamp or light, so it was dark. The bedroom itself wasn't well lit, even with the table and floor lamps.

- smtxrn2019 (10/5): Exceeded my expectations - The room was fresh, clean, and most importantly.... Cool!!! It's been so hot outside. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom products were plenty to get us through our visit. The continental breakfast had the traditional selection, plus, a vanilla yoghurt parfait station! Holly greeted us at the front desk and was very friendly. We just stayed one night as we were driving through, but would definitely stay here even if we had a few days as it is close to stores and restaurants. There was even a country western museum that we noted on the way out of town that could make for a cute stop. On their website they have a list of things to do in town, as well.

I do not prefer to stay at properties like this when im traveling alone woth my children. If it was stated on page i did not read ot and there was vertaily not a picture of the side of the building showing the rooms were putside access. Otyerwise, everything was well represented as advertised. Kids lived swiming in the pool, Breakfast was nice and rooms were great.

- lisapV9256KM (8/5): Ok for a short stay - We were in Brady one night for a birthday party. We no longer have family there so a hotel was a must. If you are familiar with Brady you’ll know hotels are thin on the ground. I picked the BW because the reviews were pretty good. The hotel is sort of tucked away but just across the highway from Walmart and down from McDonald’s. It’s an older hotel, but our king room was large, clean, and quiet. There are a number of workers housed there as evidenced by the number of trucks in the parking lot. The parking lot is narrow and fills up by 9:00 although there were several bucket trucks parked in a vacant lot next door. The bed was comfortable and the AC was cool enough. The weirdest thing was the shower and vanity. The vanity was really low, like for a child. The shower was what dated the room. It was basically a box with a shower curtain and little plastic corners to keep the curtain in. No tub but a decent size. It just seemed weird in this day and age to find this kind of shower in a hotel. Ultimately it was all fine. We slept well and didn’t stay for breakfast although it smelled good. We would stay here again.

- Verified traveler (2/5): AC not working in Texas in June! - The first thing to check in your room is the air conditioner. Does it work? No it did not. It was not functioning properly. I asked the staff to check it out. They did and could not get it to work any better than I had. Because I was told they had no other rooms to offer and would not be able to fix it until the next day, I cancelled the reservation and left. This was a great inconvenience since I was in town for an event that began in an hour. I had little time to shop around with few acceptable options in Brady. Holiday Inn Express graciously made room for me.

- Cynthia (10/5): Nice smalltown hotel - This Best Western was very clean. The breakfast was good and the dining area was very clean. The night clerk and the morning clerk were very friendly and welcoming.
- 74dennyv (2/5): Not worth the money, we moved to an other hotel!!!! - We have been in a lot of Best Western hotels, but this hotel isn’t worth the name Best Western! The lobby looks nice and smell’s nice. The boy at the desk was friendly. And that’s the only positive about this hotel. The rooms weren’t clean. Full of bugs (death and alive) and the smell is horrible. They offered other room’s but they where as bad as the first rooms. The 4.0 rating must have been bought, this is far from 4.0! We moved to another hotel.

- Stephen (6/5): - Breakfast was terrible at the Hotel, even though its free, go to a cafe. McDonalds is the only game in town if you come in late. Hotel had water issues, so that was an issue. Room was clean, we appreciate that.
