Guest Reviews
- Leopoldo (6/5): Ok - Right off Highway
- Walter (10/5): - best buffet I've seen
- Kevin (8/5): Overall good stay. Very clean - Clean. Nice for an older property Staff wasn’t very friendly
- Brant (8/5): -
- Sherri (1/5): It was very upsetting and would never recommend someone stay here! - The bed was comfortable. We only stayed one night. Right before we left my husband went to use the restroom and almost fell off the commode. The seat fell right off. Twenty minutes later, he went to tell the front desk that the commode seat came off. A few hours later we got a call saying we had to pay for the broken commode seat. We are 60 and 72. We did nothing to cause the seat to break. If we had done something to break it, we would have told the front desk that we broke it and took responsibility for our actions. But this was not the case. They told us they were going to charge $50. But actually charged $56. We paid $128.00 to stay. We are the type people who believe you should treat others people stuff as if it were your own. That is exactly what we did. We travel all over the country. I will never stay at a Best Western again. Not just because of this hotel, but also because the Corporate office was absolutely worthless when we filed the complaint. This is not about $56 dollars. This is about what is right versus what is wrong.
- Irene (10/5): Perfect stay - Very clean Close to the railway
- James (10/5): -
- Jacob (7/5): -
- stephen (4/5): ok - The internet did not work. It was difficult to get the room a comfortable temp.
- Cindy (10/5): Would book this property over and over again. - We were pleasantly surprised that the property lived up to the high reviews on booking.com. The cleanliness, updated room and friendliness of the staff all received excellent scores from us as we booked after a long long day of driving. The price was so reasonable. And we’re somewhat picky and judgmental. Can’t think of anything.
- Mary (9/5): - Nice staff. Clean. Location, train noises
- martin (10/5): -
- Truly (4/5): Was fine, but due to mattresses being so uncomfortable, we would not stay here again. - Property was clean, room was mostly clean. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and the sheets would not stay on the bed. The bathroom mirror had a huge glob of dried, blue, toothpaste.
- Suzy (9/5): - We have been traveling for over a month and this is on of the nicest rooms thus far. Plenty of pillows and towels, comfortable bed. Noisy. The hotel is right on the highway and near a train track. On a morning when I needed more sleep was woken by a train at 530 am, then kept awake by truck traffic.
- Carrie (8/5): -
- timothy (9/5): - Excellent Our TV didn't work properly.
- Carla (7/5): - Comfortable beds Location. Railroad tracks outside our window along with a very busy road. The office had a dish of free earplug’s you can use if it’s too noisy.
- Sheila (8/5): -
- Michael E (10/5): We will plan to be staying with BW in the future. Thank you for the experience! - Great breakfast and atmosphere. Very clean and well managed. We were very happy with the entire experience.

- David (8/5): -
- Richard (10/5): - Room was beautiful. Breakfast awesome.
- Julie (7/5): Fair - Easy access from the highway. My husband liked their breakfast. Air conditioner cycled on off on off all night, which is very annoying and disturbed my sleep.

- Rodney (9/5): -
- Proctor (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): -
- Darlene (10/5): - Excellent
- Kathleen (10/5): Would stay there again in future. Will call hotel directly to get military discount - Morning staff was excellant. Breakfast was hot and area super clean Close to train tracks but were offered ear plugs at check in. Train noise wasn’t that bad
- Divya Kumar Sharma (7/5): A decent night stopover on the way from Austin to Colorado, Clean room and excellent hot shower - Shower, clean toilet, smell free rooms Veg and non-veg items kept side by side mixed, please make a distance to respect vegeterians also
- Paul (5/5): Think twice before I stay again noise. traffic Trucks - Nice clean interior Noise
- Jennifer (6/5): Overpriced - It was overpriced for a motel. Their breakfast ends at 9a on Saturday and although the hotel employee watched us sit down to eat after 9a, once we started eating let us know it was closed…really weird and rude interaction.
- Leslie (8/5): It was a great location and suited our needs. - It was clean It was a hotel not a motel
- Huiskes (10/5): - Late arrival but staff was extremely king
- Joseph (8/5): -
- Don (10/5): -

- Judi (8/5): -
- John (3/5): LOUD Train horn across the street at 0000 0200 AND 0400 - Clean and comfy…. except for the train every two hours If you have ever wanted to act out the train scenes from the movie “My Cousin Vinny,” then this is the place for you!

Location within walking distance of working railroad track. Train whistles until 2 in the morning.
- John (8/5): Convenient location, very good facility, helpful friendly staff. Parking was tight, but we managed o - Did not eat breakfast
- Dave (8/5): - Staff were professional and breakfast was good. Had to pay a damage deposit online and another when we arrived.
- Rebekah (7/5): Good stay - The staff was very nice, appreciate the extended checkout We had a horse trailer. Parking was a bit far from our room
- Albert (8/5): Good place. - Nice place. Very comfortable bed. Truck and train noise.
- Eduardo (10/5): -
- Gail (10/5): Restful night - The room was clean, warm, and pleasing. The staff was also very accommodating.
- Deborah (10/5): -
- Griffith (8/5): For the money, good value. - Clean, comfy bed Train noise and truck noise
- Ava (7/5): Nursanickel Best Western okay for a night - The room itself was fine. However, the location was very noisy with trains and traffic going nearby frequently. Dalheart has cattle feedlots nearby, and the smell is strong outside. The free breakfast was very stingy, e.g., smallest Bagels we have ever seen.. the best thing was the waffle. The location was very noisy with trains and traffic going nearby frequently. Dalheart has cattle feedlots nearby, and the smell is strong outside. The free breakfast was very stingy, e.g., smallest bagels we have ever seen.
- Lee (3/5): Poor. Never stay there again. - Didn't participate The room is worth $50.00. Price is ridiculously high at $120. never again.
Mattress was garbage.
- Guest (10/5): We liked everything. - This is an excellent property. Very clean, everyone accommodating, and breakfast is always great and breakfast area kept very clean. We usually stay here each year we travel.
- Tonya (7/5): - Close to my route Hard for me to turn around in there parking lot due to tight parking
- Tilottama (9/5): -
- Judy (9/5): - Breakfast was really good! The first time we stayed, we left my husband's cane and staff called us about it. Beds were comfortable We would have liked a walk in shower. However, the bathtub was not too tall which helped us.
- James (10/5): -
- Judy (7/5): - The staff were very nice. Railroad tracks ran through town very close to the hotel and several trains went through at night.
- Brandi (9/5): -
- Daigneault (9/5): -
- Nancy (6/5): -
- Randall (9/5): A nice place to stay. - A very clean and fresh room. The king bed was very comfortable. I’m sorry Dish TV doesn’t carry the Fox channel. I missed watching the 7th game of the World Series.
- Brost (9/5): Good nights sleep. - Room was clean and comfortable. Second floor walk up. Railroad tracks are close, some noise.
- Glennann (9/5): -
- Kathryn (9/5): -
- Laura (8/5): - Room was ok. Carpet was old and dirty. Beds were comfortable and parking was tight. Check in was not welcoming or friendly.
- Barbara (10/5): A nice place to get a good nights sleep. - The manager on duty called to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. She brought us a box of Kleenex we requested. Bed was comfy and the room was clean. Nothing
- Cindy (6/5): - Excellent breakfast! Please note that this hotel is very close to the train tracks and on the main drag. That being said, it is comfortable for a place to sleep on a road trip. Staff was very helpful and friendly
- Dan (6/5): - Trains blow whistles a few times during night.town has some strange dips in roads. Otherwise average stay
- Robert (10/5): -
- Shelia (6/5): - This was a quick overnight while passing through on the way to Colorado. I booked it because it was a quick in and out. Upon arrival, THE SMELL! It must be near a stockyard! It is on a corner of the busiest road in Texas and a TRAIN runs behind it and blows the horn at the intersection. Our room was non-smoking but smelled of rank cigarette smoke. The gap under the exterior door was big enough for a snake to crawl under. On the upside, the breakfast was enjoyable and the staff was friendly!
- Rochelle (8/5): - Location was accessable to freeway. Close proximity to the passing trains. Plenty of parking. Hotel/Room is a bit dated but for 1 night was comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff was very nice.
- Gene (8/5): - Clean and
- Madeline (10/5): - workers were nice and everything was very clean
- Becky (9/5): -
- Merla (10/5): - Clean room, great breakfast
- Bobby (10/5): - We felt very safe and the the staff were great!
- Debra (4/5): - Toilet rocking, bathtub dripping, no wifi, trains running by all night! We didn’t get much sleep. Breakfast in the morning was terrible! My husband got sick.
- Kyle (10/5): - Great place clean great staff good parking
Was warned about train noise but the room and bed was so comfortable didn’t notice
- Debbie (8/5): - Clean room;quiet area.
- James (4/5): The place was not bad but I'll try not to stay in Dalhart again. - Clean and has a good breakfast. Very noisy. Train track too close. Trains blow horns all night. Traffic is noisy also.
- Ivan (10/5): - Clean room
- Cody (2/5): - They didn’t have any
- Caleb (7/5): It was okay for one night but staff was really nice! - Good location.Clean. Toilet was cheap very difficult to sit
- Lisa (8/5): - We liked the room sizes and newer updates and cleanliness, as well as the very friendly staff. We liked how they had an affiliation with three different restaurants to order food which came very quickly, and it was very good.
- Kenneth Higgins (10/5): - Make sure you be careful when you open the door right off us 54 convenient we were informed of the train forehead only heard it once
- Robert (9/5): - The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the variety abundant. Staff was courteous and pleasant.
- patricia (8/5): - Limpio El desayuno
- Paula (8/5): Overall, it was a good place to stop. - The hotel is one of the older ones, but it has been maintained. The room was updated, and clean. The breakfast was good. It offered a variety of foods. The front desk staff was very helpful. The parking is limited. After a big event in town, you might have problems finding a place to park. There are the trains also, but in Dalhart, they're everywhere. Overall, I would recommend it.
- Robert (8/5): - Every noisy due to being right next to a busy intersection. Eating places close by.
- Larriet (5/5): Disappointed that the motel changed the rate on a confirmed booking. - Location I had booked a room months in advance for a yearly Rodeo and celebration. I picked it over a newer hotel because of price. Without warning, the room price was raised $25 2 days before my arrival. When questioned, they said it was because of the XIT rodeo going on. These events are held the same weekend every year so I knew about it when I booked the room. Then I was charged another upgrade fee of $10 to get a room on the ground floor. I was not aware there was no elevator on the property.
- Graves (4/5): -
- Nancy (8/5): - The bedding was great and the breakfast was average. The only real downfall was that you could tell the carpet was old and on the dirtier side because you could feel it crunch under your feet. I couldn’t see dirt but you could tell it was well worn.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Poorest breakfast I’ve ever seen for a nice hotel.
Coffee and a breakfast bar!
- thomas (9/5): Clean comfortable room on our route to Colorado - Breakfast was very good. Staff was pleasant Train came through middle of night was loud. It runs through town. They did offer earplugs.
- Kimberly (9/5): Superb - The hotel room was clean. The beds were comfortable.
- Justin (7/5): Good - Locations and cost. Lots of humidity (from the A/C?) Location-wise… bit of a livestock smell.
