• Stevens (7/5): - Overall very pleased. Always some one available at the desk. The rooms were clean. The lack of staff put an untrained person behind the bar. I don't think she was very happy about that position switch but she did the best she could. She did a great job for no training and had a good attitude. The breakfast could use more quality foods.

I had bad experiences on this trip with another franchise. So much so I will never use them again. But this Quality Inn showed me there are hotels that do indeed care about customers. Great breakfast too. Thank you! I liked everything. No flaws whatsoever!

Such as oatmeal, bran muffins, More towards the less processed more natural foods. Juices to her an unknown con tent. I mean they could be high, fructose, flavored juices I have no idea. Possibly even adding in the ingredient Contant to the items displayed. The bathtub drain plug did not work at all. It would not stay in the up position to drain the water from the tub. I had to jam a bar of soap in the drain plug to keep it from dropping and plugging up to you bathtub while I showered.

• Z3479PPcarrieh (2/5): Tripadvisor has no hidden fees. - The hotel stay was good. Little older hotel but was nice for what we thought was being charged $91.00 a night. Went to check out and the invoice even was correct amount. However, my husband got on his bank account and they took out $130.00 extra than what the invoice amount was. When we talked to the manager it was his fault because he went to their, THE HOTEL'S page and reserved and paid for the room for two nights. supposedly a 3rd party booked it (not tripadvisor), which I personally always go through. SO make sure you use tripadvisor, don't use google search and book it.
• Kim (3/5): Never again. - Lauren at the front desk seemed to be the only person there who liked her job. She went above and beyond - offered to keep the coffee coming as long as we wanted..., was always cheerful and so apologetic when were disappointed with our room. The room we were given - one bed had crumbs in the sheets, the other was obvioulsy made up with dirty sheets. Given a new room. Sheets were clean. Room was clean. Windows and mirrors dirty. Toilet seat broken. Clean breakfast bar..well stocked. Eggs and sausage were disgusting. Tator tots were good. Waffles were good - dispenser broken...coffee was good and fresh. Temps of pool and hot tub were good, Hot tub jets not working - broken, Pool deck peeling. Gathering room had mold on boarded windows. Smelled of mold. Some updating is in progress.... Mold... Grouchy front desk people. Cut us off from fresh coffee mid afternoon...sat night lady seemed irritated when i went to report that hot tub was not working. I told her the maintenance guy got it going earlier. She said he'd left for the day. Sunday lady never even looked up when I stood there waiting to check out. I was going to share these things with her...well. I threw my key cards in the bucket and left,

The shower could use some scrubbing. The pool area was really nice and they had a hot breakfast included Shower needed scrubbing, the restaurant hours were horrible. The staff wasn’t great. I was charged $25 for early check in and literally was 30 minutes from the time. Really? Hotel was over priced for what it was. Breakfast wasn’t good, even the yogurt something tasted off. Juice machine broken so grower juice cups were provided instead. Just very basic and cheap stuff. Sheets were super itchy.

• shaundac2014 (8/5): very clean hotel - Room was clean and air conditioner worked well. Bedding was clean and pillows were comfortable. Bed was a little soft but still comfortable. Rooms were quiet did not hear much noise from hallway. Shower was clean and good water pressure. Breakfast was very nice with many hot items to choose from. Breakfast area was very clean. Staff was friendly at front desk and breakfast area. we would stop again if traveling through the area.

Pillows should have been disposed of a LONG time ago. Bed was lumpy. Air conditioning was very loud. Shower head was not movable thus hitting the back of the tub. Worst room we've ever had room 215.

• Curtis (9/5): This place is like scaffolding. Everything in place so that you can do what you intended. - Breakfast was as expected for a standard, no-cook menu. Nice to have a good toaster and peanut butter. Did not try the coffee. Orange juice was the real thing. Very clean! Also, the jacuzzi actually worked, with bubbles, and the water was HOT! Bravo! Rare find these days of usually understaffed properties. And zero problems with the wifi/internet. Whew! Nothing to not like.

The hotel is located next to ATV and Snowmobile trails - you can access them directly from the parking lot area. The breakfast was lovely and filling. The hotel was a most welcome surprise, and I am looking forward to returning with my husband.

• pamsY9719RX (10/5): Great place to stay- our 4th time. - This is at least the fourth time we've stayed here The room rates are a bargain and the rooms are very comfortable and immaculately clean. The beds are the most comfortable we've slept in and the rooms are very sound proof. The pool and spa area is lovely and we've never stayed at a motel with a better complimentary breakfast. It's actually more like a breakfast buffet and the food is always hot and delicious. The staff are so friendly and helpful that it just feels very comfortable to stay here. The building is older and the rooms aren't as updated as other places we've stayed, but the heating, AC, water pressure etc are all in great order. It's very clean, comfortable, reasonable, beautiful pool area and a bar with food and delicious breakfast. You can't beat it.

• Jeff (7/5): Good - Quaint old-school motel. Has an unapologetic up-north Wisco bar attached to it (noise not a problem). Very handy to fuel, convenience stores and restaurants. The lake view is lovely. And the room smelled like Dove soap when we arrived: Almost as comforting as the smell of baking bread or cookies. And pet friendly! Some bits are showing their age.

• April (10/5): Exceptional - Clean. Rooms are big. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Good variety. Just add some apple juice. Would love some carpet in the room. The beds are on wheels and they move too much. That's really the only thing I dislike about this location.
