Was greeted by a young man named Justin who checked me in and was able to accommodate my stay in a professional and friendly manor. My room was clean and Justin said he could let the breakfast staff know if I needed a breakfast to go versus sitting in the restaurant if I wanted to sleep in or save time. I will definitely use this hotel on my next business trip

• Tran Linh (9/5): - Comfortable beds and spacious room (King+Queen) room. Motel setting,we had carry luggage upstairs. Laundry and breakfast are at separate buildings. These are how the motel was built, not easy for them to improve.

We stayed 9 days and had to ask for housekeeping. we ran out of towels, coffee cups, and the plastic cups on the sink. The beds were very comfortable. Will Stay there again.

The facility closed at 11:00 pm. In soldotna in the summer people don’t stop until it gets dark. We thought doing laundry at 9-9:30 would have been fine but we barely got our clothes dry before closing
• Kelly (7/5): It was high season and expensive, yet comfy room, predictable breakfast, easy location but no character - New Reno, spacious rooms,comfy bed. $$$ given a plain Best Western. The exterior is very old and tired.
• jcharlietuna54 (4/5): 5 night stay, great beds but the good things stop there - I had 2 rooms for 5 nights. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. The problems came as there was a dead spider in the bathroom when we checked in and live bugs also in bathroom. Beds were made one time during our stay but bathrooms were not cleaned. We asked for clean towels on day 3 and I was told they could only find one towel to give me. The hot water was lukewarm at best. However the beds were very comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast is the typical continental breakfast found in most hotels. Heidi was the person who took care of the breakfast daily and was exceptional!! Very helpful. One morning there was no milk and she went and got a gallon from the store next door. Can’t say enough good things about her.

Friendly accommodating staff, tidy efficient room with good decent mattress, really good pillows and linens, and excellent shower pressure! The AC unit cooled fine but was a little noisy. And we loved being able to park right outside our door, just like “motel” implies. I’ll enthusiastically recommend this hotel to friends who often stay in fancier places.

• Dante (10/5): Exceptional - Heidi, the lady who supervises the breakfast bar, was a joy to talk with, and we really appreciated her kindness. The room was clean and everything worked well. The mattress was not particularly comfortable; it felt old and tired.

After we brought our things to the room, I realized they had a room that had an adjoining door to the other side so we requested the connecting room. The staff had no problem with it and changed the rooms right away. When we came back late in the evening, we needed additional towels and the staff promptly provided them. The next morning, we ate breakfast at their restaurant next door. We were greeted by an amazing woman named Heidi! She is a breath of fresh air. She was so happy, helpful and engaging with everyone that walked in the door. You could just tell she loved her job and life in general. I would definitely stay here again next time.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Great Location, Small "Queen" Beds. - Staff was friendly. Room was clean and large. The chairs at the small table were not comfortable for any time at all. The beds were advertised as "queen size" but we measured and verified "full size" width of 54". We thought there was a mistake and checked at the front desk but they insisted they were queen beds. Not sure we would stay again with two grown siblings sharing a full mattress.

• marybJ6160IP (10/5): Nice place to clean up and rest. - Best hotel experience of the trip. Small motel, efficient, tidy, friendly accommodating staff. Nothing luxurious, just plain solid. Great power shower. Decent bed/mattress. Very nice linens and pillows. Air handling unit was just a little noisy, but it didn’t intrude on my rest. I will recommend this place, even to friends who usually pick fancier places.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Icy parking lot - The room was very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed frame was broken and made for difficult sleeping. Parking lot was so icy we could barely stand up at our car. Breakfast had plenty to offer. Overall a good experience but please take care of the icy parking lot. As older adults, it’s terrifying to think about breaking bones just to get in your car.

• Robert (5/5): I was placed on the 2nd floor when I requested a ground floor room. there is not an interior access - The breakfast was the same old type that every place provides and to be honest a McDonald’s is better and that isn’t saying much. Powdered eggs scrambled with old sausage links isn’t much to brag about. Access to all rooms is only from the exterior of the building and this is not a pleasant experience when the weather gets cold and snowing or raining. The second floor access by the exterior stairway is five feet wide but the handrail is only on one side which does not meet code standards when the handrail should be on both sides and it makes it difficult to juggle bags and at the same time use the hand rail The TV didn’t work and when I told the desk receptionist she just said oh I’m sorry

Very popular for tour bus groups and truckers. Breakfast was basic and ample with charming hostess. On-site restaurant so-so but I was not feeling well and didn’t want to leave to eat.
