- Michael (9/5): good place to stay for the price - very clean room floor felt sticky when walking on it
- Isaac (9/5): Have some actives planned, then this is for you. - I like that it was close to the shady maple and various of other activities within the area of Lancaster. Nothing wrong, it's a reasonable price and decent stay, if your looking to enjoy the festivities of Lancaster and not stay in the room all day, this is for you.

- Diana (3/5): No towels and dead bugs! - The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. The outside of the facility looked ok. Nothing super fancy and that was fine as I was staying there for 1 evening for a near by sports tournament. There was no bath towels in our room and by the time I went back to the office, the lights were off as it was after 10pm. The room was not terrible but not great either however, my child and I were literally just there for 1 evening and then leave at 7am the next morning. There were fireworks going on very close by that evening so it was difficult to fall asleep. The following morning, I went to pull up the sheet to ‘make the bed’ and 2 bug shells in the sheets. If I knew that before we slept there, I would have left and demanded a refund. I booked the room on the booking .com website for about $83 and was advised I would have to pay at the motel (which was fine). After arriving at check in, I was giving a new charge of about $108. Not really sure why I was charged an extra $25 but I got in very late and just wanted to get settled.
Stay at your own risk!!
- Hoover (1/5): Bad -
- Candise (1/5): Never again. - The location of the property is amazing. The room was dirty and smelled horrible. The towels were stained. There was hair all over the covers. Dead bugs just hanging out.
- Era (5/5): It was okay - It was okay It was not clean, left towel in the bathroom
- William (6/5): Pleasant -
- William (7/5): Good -
- Douglas (6/5): Pleasant - Clean, comfortable room; we would come back. Bathroom was great. Very quiet outside. Beds were nice; very sleepable. Dingy atmosphere--light bulb overhead had two bulbs, but one was burned out so it had a dingy feel.
Furniture looked like something from a thrift store--had seen better days.
Room was quite "overpriced."
- Michael (9/5): Will stay there again - Excellent stay for the money. Coffee in the room would be a nice addition Had to go out of room for coffee
- Kim (3/5): Poor -
- Kenny (7/5): Good -
- Jeremy (3/5): Poor -
- Kevin (5/5): Passable - Room was big Room smelled
Overcharged
- Julie (3/5): Felt uneasy and unsafe. Room small and dated . - Location familiar TV old . Remote didn't work to turn on TV. Room was small. Hit leg on corner of bed frame . Literally 9 in between end of bed and wall to get to bathroom. Trash was in room old pancakes . Refrigerator was not plugged in. Put in room at end of building had to go up steps. Asked to have room so I could easily access my car . Claimed all rooms rented because of local car gun show. In morning same 3 cars in empty parking lot. Felt unsafe in room. Shower was great though! Will never stay here again.
- Sonia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dave (5/5): Passable -
- Debra (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kathleen (5/5): If you just need a place to sleep for the night, a good value and beds were clean. - It was close to our event location. It took awhile for someone to come to the front desk even after ringing bells. Broken arm on a desk chair made it unusable. I’m not sure why it was left in the room as it was. Hole in the bathroom door (looked like something heavy was on a door hanger and ripped off). Front desk already knew about the issues but left them like that anyways.
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Claudia (7/5): Good -
- Deanna (1/5): Go to the Holiday Inn - The price. Traveling by bicycle, just looking for the cheapest place to sleep. Horrible customer service. Waited 15 minutes and multiple times ringing the bell for the guy to shuffle over to the front desk, despite him just sitting in a nook back there. I ended up opening the door to the front desk and saying hello loudly to get a response, to which I said, I'm trying to check in before he got up and started to check me in.
Then he told me I wasn't allowed to bring my bicycle into the room. All of my belongings are in various bags all over my bike. And this motel is not upscale, it's a pretty standard, slightly gross, cheap motel situation. I brought my bike into the room to unload things from the bags so they weren't outside all night. He knocked on my door and told me get the bike outside or check out. He refused to tell me why. I told him if he thinks my bike caused him extra cleaning when I leave, then he can charge me for it. This pissed him off even more and said it's not about that.
For a shitty motel, I do not understand the problem. I've traveled by bike to many, many places, some very nice, and have never had an issue with my bike in the room.
If the guy had offered an explanation, or even just tried to be a little friendly or nice about it, I'm sure that would've changed the dynamic, but he seemed as though guests are a burden to him.
If you're looking for a cheap place in this area, it is well worth it to pay an additional $15 to go to the holiday inn nearby.
- Jerome (4/5): Disappointing -
- J (6/5): Not cool - Room was clean Only one person working there. Not too friendly. Checked our room before checking out. Too strict there. Lobby was disorganized with lots of clutter.
- Delores (5/5): Passable - Breakfast none No coffee in room, no ice machine
- Donald (1/5): Hw could it get any worse?? - Sonebody there!! Arrrived Friday night about 10:30 office dark, nobody thre, couldn't get a room. Went somewhere else for the night, came back next morning, same thing. Came back again Sat evening, now lights in office on,, but nobody there, rang bell, noting. Called the phone number, recording said nobody available!! Went to my bank and got my money back on my card, will never use travelocity again!!!
- Mark (4/5): bare essentials in room but only used for sleep . - no breakfest but location was close to my venue room wasn't cleaned from previous guests. multiple foods and loafs of bread in room , no towels but asked and were given , no soap & sink wouldn't drain . plus it was $34.00 more than your quote. $200.00 for 2 nites !
- Nancy (2/5): I’m very disappointed with my stay here - The location was convenient to the turnpike, and the bed was comfortable. The price was a scam. I was quoted a price of $88 after taxes and fees on Booking . Com, but when I checked in at the property, I was charged $113! And he also took out a cleaning fee of $50 in case we trashed the room. Hopefully I will get that back but who knows, since he was no where to be found at check out. After ringing the bell and waiting in the office for a good ten minutes, I decided to place the key on the desk behind the glass. I’m nervous that he will accuse me of never returning the key. I do not appreciate the bad service and extra costs of this low grade hotel. I won’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!
- Miles (8/5): Very good -
- Ryan (8/5): Great location, quiet, clean, affordable. Would definitely stay again! - Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Newly renovated walk-in tiled shower. Friendly staff and helpful to finding restaurants and local businesses. Price was affordable. Room didn't have clean towels but were provided after returning to lobby. No coffee or ice.
- Sydor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edmund (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (8/5): very good - great value would return in future - Very quiet
Wonderful shower Hole in bathroom door - purely cosmetic but would look nicer if fixed
- Quest738097 (2/5): Don’t stay here! - Two lifetime friends who go to events together. We were there to attend a lantern festival that weekend, a easy 1 overnight stay. We checked in that afternoon. Changed our clothes and left. I have never stayed at a place with this many problems.
1. Light switch right inside the door was sticky. No big deal…we just wiped that off.
2. The comforter on one bed had 2 cigarette burns and a straight cut through it.
3. When I pulled the sheets back you could see the top sheet had holes along the top seam. Like it got chewed up in a washer.
4. The other bed’s box spring looked like this.
5. The bathroom door did not close.
6. Website shows this motel has 24 hour service. Nobody was available when we got back to the room at 10:50. When trying the key to get in, it wouldn’t work. After 30 tries I went to a closed office. Door locked. No response from the motel phone. Nobody in Priceline at that time to help. We had no idea of what we were going to do. After about 40 more tries it finally worked.
7. After finally getting in we got undressed and thought we would watch a little tv. But nope. We had no signal.
8. The website also states it’s handicapped accessible. There was no wheelchair access or even a handicap parking spot. I’m handicapped, but don’t need a wheelchair.
9. We were ready to check out at 8:45. Nobody was in the office nor access to it. We left the bad key in the room and left.
- Lona (4/5): Disappointing -
- James (1/5): Bad - Couldn’t check in. They have no hours on the door and the office was empty when we got there. They never mentioned anything about no one being at the front desk. Had to book a hotel down the road and was very annoyed at the whole experience.
- Long (8/5): Very good -
- Le (8/5): Very good -
- N (1/5): Terrible - Nothing So rude old womam was terrible.
- Thea (5/5): It was cheep - It was cheep Old rundown brown water
- Gary (7/5): Good -
- Brian (8/5): Very good -
- Justin (8/5): No frills place, basic but clean. Staff was flexible when I had a last minute change. - Easy check in, staff was flexible and easy to work with
- James (1/5): B/S - Nothing did not stay Was advertised as pet friendly. Would not allow my dog to stay.
We stayed at a nearby hotel
- David (4/5): Disappointing -
- James (4/5): The location being so close to my work was great and made up for other short comings - The location was perfect for proximity to my work location. It is an older property and didn't go into it expecting a 5 star location. It served its purpose well enough. The room did not seemed to have been cleaned, there was leftover trash still in the trash can and the entire place needed a good scrubbing.
- Scola (6/5): Pleasant -
- Carlton (9/5): The room was great and everyone was very polite and helpful. - Easy access to car and road, nice shower, everything worked in room. There wasn’t much for breakfast, so I went to a restaurant for a decent meal.
- Edward (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anonymous (8/5): We arrived later in the evening. Our key card did not work owner came out to help us. We slept like babies the shower wa - Conveniently close to Pennsylvania Renaissance faire. Price was a steal Room could have been a bit bigger.
- Ruiz (9/5): Superb -
- Harvey (6/5): Complaint - The manager said he put the extra room charge back in my account and 9 days later it was not back in my account. I called today 9/17 and he hung up on me after he made excuses that MY paperwork was on the bottom of his notes..
I do not think so...
- Taylor (9/5): Superb -
- Jerome (8/5): Very good -
- Kayla (5/5): Fine but not great - Cheaper, sufficient Room wasn't cleaned well , fridge smelled, open beer in fridge. Light broke in bathroom but they fixed it.
- Jessica (7/5): It was a cozy room. - Nice, clean, quiet, and calm atmosphere in the room and to walk the property. The staff was very quiet while speaking, I felt bad for having to ask him to repeat himself. Same staff also had me wait there while they "checked" the room I stayed in before I could leave. It seemed strange to me.
- Pstol5791 (5/5): Passable - It was dirty, there wes cigarette butts left on top of the mini fridge
- Leslee (6/5): Pleasant - King bed and walk in shower. Some of the furniture was rather old and shabby. Also, the TV did not work with the remote. You could not raise the volume which was rather low. I had to unplug it to turn it off at bedtime. The refrigerator was barely cold.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Good service Everything great
- Pamela (9/5): The room was a good value. - I couldn't get the TV to work. The TV could be easier to use & I could use a hook on the wall to hang shirts & Jackets.
- Diane (5/5): it wasn’t a bad place to stay, just don’t arrive too late at night - it was easy to find, quiet, and we slept well. we arrived late, after attending a concert in Philadelphia. we had to wake up the manager. he wasn’t very happy with us, and he wasn’t very friendly. if I had known we would be getting in so late, I would have let them know. the room was paid for, he had to know someone would be arriving.
- Angelic (5/5): Passable -
- Jason (4/5): Extra Charge - I didnt like being charged another 170 from the front desk guy because he thinks he can go ahead and not honor a booking.com reservation
- Aguiar (7/5): Pleasant, but however, an unfortunate end - we like that it’s small and cozy it’s important to note that me and my fiancé are not smokers and the facility has all white towels and we were told upon check in that there would be an extra charge for smoke in the room so we happily signed
I recently colored my hair blue for my recent birthday and note ALL the towels are white, I took a shower as one does and dried my hair and I turned the towel slightly blue which I can not help, the manager then penalize me and my fiancé for “damaging “ his property and charged us for the smoking fee in which we did not smoke in the room.
- Robinson (8/5): Very good -
- Jerome (8/5): Very good - clean , affordable pillows
- Le (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (5/5): Good location but didn't plan to stay there again. - Bed was bigger than the queen I expected. Confusing and noisy wall Heater. Bathroom Vanity was smaller than normal. Sink was draining slower than normal.
- Barry (6/5): Pleasant -
- Faff (10/5): awesome! - very clean, and the staff was amazing! nothing
- Sam (1/5): terrible - nothing booked on Booking. when arrived at hotel they told us they had no vacancy
- Boden (10/5): Exceptional -
- Galdamez (5/5): Passable -
- Janet (1/5): stayed at much better place's for the same price - didn't have any smelled , mold in bathroom in sower area ,wash cloth dirty, never had too a 25.00 deposit down, any were we every stayed
all over the county this was the first
- Danielle (3/5): Poor - it was close walking to sheets owner was very nosey
- Randall (4/5): Not the best - Fairly clean. Good location. Near a large Walmart. Air conditioning worked. Small fridge and microwave in the room. Didn't like the guys attitude when I checked in. He wanted to charge me for the three days I was staying. Told him I had already paid with booking..com in advance. Started to get into a argument then he backed off and said it was noted on the reverse side of his paper. I even showed him my paid verification from booking.com, but he said he never got paid which was a lie. Had to give him a $25 cash deposit for any stained towels or room damage.
Walls are thin. Room to the left had a young mother with an infant living there and was crying throughout the night. Room to the right had a guy snoring I could hear through the wall.
Lot's of people must be living here for whatever reason. Beer cans and bottles everywhere, cigarette butts and trash all over the property.
Checked out on a Sunday morning so I could catch my plane. Wouldn't you know it office was completely locked. This was about 8am. Not super early. No response when I knocked on the door for 5 minutes. So, I thought I would call them. Luckily some one answered and I told them I needed to check out and get my deposit back. The guy was very adimate about his towels being stained. I told him to go look if he wanted too. He finally gave me my deposit back and I left.
- redmenace637 (2/5): If I could give no stars I would! - About the only thing I can say nice about this place was the parking lot was redone recently.
I reserved two rooms. Of the two rooms one bathroom did not have it working exhaust fan and also had the fuse box in the bathroom. which seems like a very severe safety hazard!
The painting in the rooms looks like it had just been painted over what was already there.
The outer doors had no security latch but did have a deadbolt. The windows, that you could open, did not lock for security purposes.
I attempted to get Ice but I was informed by the manager that the ice machine had been out of service for weeks.
I paid way more than the rooms were worth.
Upon checking in one of the rooms beds had not been made I had to switch rooms. After bringing this to the manager's attention all he did was go in and make the bed did not change the sheets out.
The refrigerators look like they had been bought at a scratch and dent sale, dents and scratches all over the outer casing of the refrigerator
the second room that was moved to was moved to did not have a working TV remote and the battery case cover was missing.
The room was missing a do not disturb sign so I could not tell the hotel staff not to remake the bed.
Of the three different rooms that I was in the phones did not match and one of them looked like the keypad had been punched in were you could not use the phone if you had to use the phone. And there was NO phone in my room.
In one of the rooms the air conditioner looks like it had never been cleaned.
The shower floor is very slick. There are no safety strips on the floor of the shower. And if one fell there was no grab bars to pick yourself back up.
- EricM4326 (2/5): Do not stay here awful - I have seen a lot of places some bad some good, this is the worst hotel if you want to call it that. It needs inspected and shutdown or tore down. The rooms are filthy dirty, the bed comforters have never been washed. The shower curtain is filthy like the ones at state parks. The outlets in the wall are not in the wall but out on the floor. The telephone was ripped out of the wall. There was a huge patch of someones hair on the phone. There was hair on the sheets. This just to name a few things. The doors all of them paint falling off of them. The stairway is dangerous with cement falling apart so bad that the blocks have falling off of the landing into the parking lot, The fixtures in the room are useless and do not work. The fans in the bathroom have no cover and are exposed with a lot of dirt and dust, the ac heat has never been cleaned. The only reason I gave it a 1 is because I had too. It has no place in this area as no other place looks like this. Please do not go here if you do you will be in great pain. No coffee Pot in room, no nothing.
- 83merilyns (2/5): Don’t Even Think About It! - Didn’t actually stay here because I walked out! The room was utter filth! The sheets had brown stains on them, the lamps were covered in some sticky substance - overall filth. Did I mention the filth? When I was leaving I told the clerk about the condition of the room and he actually yelled at me and said “bull #### get out!” This is hands down the worst hotel I (almost) stayed in.
- kayd341 (2/5): Filthy - My husband staying here for work. First photo shows the filth from wiping down the headboard on his bed. The second photo is wiping down the door in the bathroom. This is a non-smoking room. He was told he would be charged $150 if he smoked in the room. He paid for five nights day. He was told if he checked out after one night he would not get a refund for the balance. Do not stay here.
- Justcharm2 (2/5): Not a good spot! - Bad services. Drink people hanging in lobby with open containers . I machines were broken! No ice at all! Atm was broken! People ride and very loud! No wake up call like requsted made me late for my job.
