Guest Reviews
- Ganzak (9/5): This was a great spot for our overnight stay. This is a great place for a family feel. - The property did not have many guest this weekend. That did not detract from the great feel of the place. There was a small restaurant on site which was nice and convenient. The site did not have good signage to check in. There were no employees on site after hours.
- Crystal (7/5): Overall was comfy and relaxing. Also with dinner a bar on site makes is very convenient along with the golf course on si - Loved the view, the jetted tub and the bed was great. The fridge needs cleaned was dirty a shelf is broken.
- Jay (7/5): -
- Kathleen (7/5): -
- Mary (10/5): Enjoyable stay with nice golf course setting. Friendly and accommodating staff - Everyone employee that I encountered was very friendly and helpful Bridges met all the needs for my stay, so I really don't like to complain - but if you are looking to make things better - the sitting chairs in my room were very worn and torn.
- Patrick (4/5): - Dirty water in Jacuzzi, tv didnt work, dead fly in windowsill. No desk service at night. Bed was nice and food was good, otherwise I would rate it a 1 star.
- Vandenhombergh (4/5): Disappointing - Close to family Room was above the bar. Loud music until late. I did not know this when I made reservations.
- Stephanie (9/5): Superb - Quiet area, restaurant food was excellent & staff was excellent!! Room could use a few updates. I'm sure this is the off-season, but the windows wouldn't close tightly, so cold air was coming through. Thankful for the insulated drapes.
- Scott (3/5): You get what you pay for - Cheap price Cold
The floors were cold
The windows let cold air in
The hallways were freezing
You get what you pay for
- J (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (8/5): I made this reservation for my son while I was having surgery in Hanover and he plays golf at The Br -
- Vicki (8/5): Very good - The proximity to Hanover was excellent. The shower curtain had mold on it. Surface areas in the room were clean.
- Alicia (9/5): Superb -
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Very good - always clean! Quiet. Comfortable decor a little dated.
- Ross (9/5): Superb -
- e (10/5): - Convenient location, nice rooms, quite right on the golf course and excellent grill with great food and bar. Everything you need in one place. I would stay again.
- John (10/5): Relaxing and comfotable. - It was a surprise to have a place to stay pretty much in the area of farmland. Views were beautiful. The hot tub was great. I am glad I can walk stairs because there were metal stairs you had to climb to get to where bedroom was. It would be rough if you had walking issues
- Dana (8/5): Great spot for a group of golfers - Comfortable beds, good shower, very friendly staff, nice golf course. Carpeting in the guest quarters is old and dirty. Needs to be replaced.
- William (8/5): - Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was very sociable
- Dwayne (4/5): Ok stay but loud neighbors - Stayed in the past and mostly was like normal. But people up at 4am drunk in the hallway ruined both mine and my Fiancé's sleep. Nobody stays over nights after kitchen staff leaves so nobody to call when people act up.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice place. Great location. Excellent grill downstairs. Room was big. Didn't have a single complaint. Will be staying again.
- Nancy (10/5): Excellent staff, clean, convenient. I have absolutely 0 complaints - My husband & I loved our stay. All the staff went above & beyond. The cafee bar was great. The food was absolutely delicious. The bartender was great. I would definitely stay again & will recommend this place to family, friends, & anyone
- Jed (8/5): Very good -
- Wendy (6/5): ok - did not have any I checked in after 8:30 pm no staff, I was told my key would be left at the check-in. Room number, my name, any key we left unsecured, room door left open. I felt a bit unsafe,
- Zeke (8/5): Very good -
- Colleen (10/5): Great place to stay and amazing food. Hubby was upset he forgot his golf clubs. - The view.
- Aimee (7/5): We wont be back - The view, the staff at the restaurant was good. The fact that check out is 11 and we had the maid knock on our door at 10 asking when we were leaving. WHO DOES THAT!!?? VERY VERY RUDE!! never has that happened when we stay anywhere. Seriously we will leave by check out. We paid for the room till then, don't knock and ask when we plan to leave. It's your job...wait!
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christian (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (6/5): - This was a great place to stay for a night! We appreciated the helpfulness of the staff (though we had a hard time figuring out where to check in). The fridge in our room was loud but the ac helped to drown out the noise. There weren't many amenities (no breakfast or lounge area, no pool or exercise room) but the facility itself was nice and overall a comfortable place to stay.
- Ruella (8/5): Very good -
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (10/5): Family of 4 - The inn was very peaceful with good location close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms where very clean and the staff has very helpful. Would definitely stay at this location. There really wasn't anything that stands out. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.
- Jeannette (3/5): Huge disappointment. - Location, being right off the main road. Once we were on the property, there was no signage re how to check-in or enter the building. A guest accessing his car explained where our paperwork was & suggested we go into the bar since: 1. No guest quarter staff was available when we arrived at 10P. 2. There was no elevator to access upstairs rooms for disabled customers such as myself. I was not aware of both those factors from your online information.
The bar staff made every effort to assist us. Thankful for their kindness.
Our room smelled musty. The upholstered bench at the foot of one bed was badly stained.
For the fee of $165, this accommodation was a disappointment. What compensation can you offer for this unsatisfactory experience?

- Cameron (6/5): - It was an older building with sagging floors. You could hear everyone around you. Couldn't get the TV to work.
The maid service was good and the beds were quite comfy.
- Nelson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanyce (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmen (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (9/5): Hope to be able to stay again when we are traveling through the area. - I don"t think they offered breakfast. In room Keurig had a nice selection. Dinner in the grill was great! Wonderful service great food. The room was "dated" but everything was very clean and in good repair. An observation, just older, not an issue.
- Linda (10/5): - Close to the race track. Great beds for good rest. Good water pressure. Friendly staff. Well kept rooms and grounds.
- Stephanie (10/5): The accommodations met our needs for the night. - I liked the spacious room and jacuzzi bath tub. I didn’t like the fact that there was no staff on the premises when we arrived. Self check in and unlocked doors seemed a little sketchy but it was all good. Also, another guest had a dog that was barking in the hallway around 12:30 AM and again around 6:00 AM. It was annoying.
- Karen (8/5): The facility was very good itself. - There were 3 dogs running thru the hallway @ 9-10-11 pm. After I confronted the owners the noise stopped. Should not have been necessary.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Robin (9/5): Superb -
- Ryan (4/5): Lack of information - Stay was meh. Stayed at the location because we were at a reception that day. Unfortunately, little did anyone say that they would close food and drink at 5:00 pm for a private event. If we would have known this, we wouldn’t have stayed here.
- Anonymous (10/5): great place - beautiful room and view. clean and comfy. huge bathtub was very relaxing no elevator to our room area.
- Janet (10/5): - This was a perfect spot for a fall stay. The grounds are beautiful with many walking paths.
- Jennifer (6/5): - The check-in was fine. Room was basic and clean. No frills. Worn furniture. Small TV. Outdated bedspreads. Shower had hard water/soap scum streaks, large ill fitting shower curtain, streaks in toilet. Floor tile was cracked. Overall, rooms need updating/remodeling. A little pricey for the overnight stay.
- Teri (8/5): Very good -
- Pauline (4/5): - It was an older property. Beds were not comfortable at all. Lots of stains and cigarette burn holes. Place creeped me out a bit. Will not book again.
- Joyce (8/5): - Golf course was in excellent condition; golf, restaurant and housing staff were very friendly and accommodating. Prices were very reasonable. Hotel needs to be updated with larger tv and bathroom fixtures.
- Anonymous (8/5): Stay for a wedding - Staff was friendly. Property itself was pretty. The rooms were seriously out dated. There were stains on the carpet, rips in the chair upholstery and rusty shower drains.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Larry (6/5): Pleasant - Room was dated and not worth the price. Modern accommodations in Gettysburg are only 20 minutes away Beds, pillows, curtains, rugs .. this place needs remodeling.
- Tamara (6/5): Pleasant -
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Getting older and worn looking but clean and comfortable enough with an OK restaurant that has outdoor seating with nice views. Unless you golf here there is little reason to go out of your way to stay here.
- LARRY (6/5): - Nice golf course but not a hotel. no front desk, floors are wood and creaky and unlevel. Beach at the end of our bed was soiled. No breakfast area.
I liked the price but would not stay there again, just not a hotel, also, no elevator
- Robert (10/5): A nice place to stay. - The hotel was nice and quiet, out of the way, but close to restaurants and shopping. Will stay there again.
- James (8/5): - It’s a tidy place. Had a third floor room and there’s no elevator. That was a bit of a surprise in this day and age. A bigger surprise was getting up at 4am for an early start and not having any water for a shower or anything else for that matter. I got up again around 6 and it was back on. An unusual stay then but not a terrible one.
- Michael (4/5): - old property
- Dale (8/5): - peaceful and near everything
- beth (10/5): - Very clean, convenient location and extremely friendly staff!
- Todd H (10/5): - It’s always a great stay at the Bridges .I actually have friends who work there and they strive for excellence. I’ll always try booking there first .
- Jen (8/5): Good option - Comfortable and convenient hotel
- Eva (10/5): - Comfortable and friendly
- Tammy (8/5): Overnight Stay - Pleasant - We only stayed overnight as we were visiting family so it was a very short stay and we did not use any of the facilities other than the room. The room was very clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Pleasant Stay at the Guest Quarters - We always enjoy our stay at the Guest Quarters at the Bridges Golf Club. The staff is friendly and the room is very clean and comfortable. We also enjoy it because of its location for our needs.
- Dordy (6/5): Needs new beds! - The staff was excellent, the room was large and very clean, the restaurant was very good but the bed was so hard that neither my husband nor I could sleep and we both had back aches the next day. The refrigerator squeeled but we unplugged it and there was a loud noise above us for hours that sounded like someone dropping 20lb weights on the floor. We were on the top floor of the building so I have no idea what it was, but it went on for hours.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The view was great...cozy atmosphere
- craig (10/5): Golf Course Hotel and Restaurant - Self Check-in if in the evening. Room sizes were large. Was very clean. We stayed for one night.
- george (10/5): Great place - We had a one night stay there and had dinner down in the restaurant where the food was great and the hostess Brooke was excellent very friendly and polite
- nathaniel (10/5): Going back soon - Receptionist was very helpful had additional information for me and my wife room was clean organized just to our liking will stay there again
- John (10/5): Good Customer Service. ... - Stay was exceptional, the staff was considerate. I enjoyed the stay.
- Paul (10/5): - I was running late this day and the hotel manager reached out to me to relay instructions on how to check-in after hours, The process was seamless and I was impressed with his initiative. Room was a bit dated but the price was great. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were pretty and clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and neat room. Hassle free experience. Very efficient
- Travelling_Man (10/5): - This is a great place to stay. It is -not- a full service hotel, or a destination onto itself. (The golf course might be if you are a golfer). Amenities are like HI Express or RR (other than onsite dining - non-existent). It is however great at what it is. And it has it's own quaint charm and quiet. So if straight functional is not for you, and you need more ostentatious look somewhere else. If you want to golf, or just stay in the area as we did, it was quiet and clean.
- Paul (10/5): Nice,Quiet and Clean - Great quiet environment.
Place was clean and beds were comfortable
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved this property. The rooms were clean, lots of towels in the room. The bed was comfortable and tbe old wood and architecture was awesome. Will definitely stay again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The restaurant and staff were excellent. I had one of the steaks I have ever had.
- Cami (10/5): - The room was spacious and comfortsble. I only wish they had a Continental breakfast year round.
- Twila (8/5): A mostly positive review with some suggestions - The room was a great size & we do love a king size bed so that was nice. One thing missing that I have come to rely on and that is an iron & ironing board -- pretty standard these days in even the lowliest of hotels/motels. (I actually went out to WalMart & bought a steamer to get the wrinkles out of some of my clothes.) We also enjoyed the jetted tub but unfortunately that was at sacrificing the kind of shower... Way too small & the bathroom was a nice size, so I would have thought there would be room enough for something larger than a phone booth plus one very small shelf. Thus, there was literally no room to place/use my toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, shaving tools, etc. We did like that corner room so that was a good thing.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It worked. Bit dated and worn. Shower needed a good scrubbing.
- Joann M (10/5): Very Pleasant Stay - A unique hotel with a great view of a well maintained golf course and located near numerous small PA towns. Room was perhaps a bit outdated, but very comfortable and clean. Particularly enjoyed relaxing in the evening at the outdoor restaurant while listening to an acoustic guitar performer. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
- Pamela (10/5): Beautiful - Beautiful grounds. We were attending car show on Carlisle. We would highly recommend.
- Clifford (10/5): Hidden Gem - Great Hotel, a little out of the way, but that can be a good thing! Helpful, friendly staff!
- Shane (8/5): Perfect getaway - Stayed 3 nights and was exactly what we were looking for. Room was spacious with 4 seperate windows and we had a whirlpool tub. Will be returning in the spring/summer to take advantage of golf course onsite.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Relaxing - Really great accommodations to relax. Room was spacious and whirlpool tub was relaxing.
Would recommend.
- Nichole (10/5): - Great Experience with the exception of the heater being incredibly loud and smelled like burning wires. We had to turn it off
- Stacy (8/5): - Unique and quaint property- good restaurant. Motif is a little outdated but I think it adds character.
- Pittsburgh (8/5): - Good accommodations for playing golf. Has nice restaurant and close to many other places.
- Grossed (2/5): - There were a disgusting amount of dead flies all through out the room. I have never been so grossed out in my life. I seriously don’t know how this happened if anyone had ever cleaned the room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Restaurant & bar on site - Convenient location, price is right. Friendly staff
- Verified traveler (4/5): Family baby shower - We found this hotel below standard. The carpets were so filthy that they need to be replaced. No coffee maker in the room. The lack of cleanliness was a big issue for us. Had a bug on me from the bed. Love the offering of the course and sleeping facilities for golfers.
