Omar (10/5): - I have been a resident at this facility since 2017 always my getaway in new Cairo when I visit either for a few days sometimes for a few weeks the staff members and the owner are helpful and friendly and also reliable. The rooms are tidy and clean also the location is perfect.

Maryam (6/5): More like a college dorm room. Overall okay experience. - It was more like a college dorm room, which I didn't mind. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy, and not included. Location is good, very close to the AUC. The elevator is uncomfortably difficult to use when carrying luggage, as the doors close too quickly. Also, I would’ve preferred having a kitchenette in the room, even though there was a shared kitchen available on each floor.

Mcfarland (10/5): Great Stay at the Sakan 275 Hotel - I really enjoyed my stay at the Sakan 275 Hotel. I consider it to be a hidden gem in Egypt. It is affordable, clean and bug free which has not always been the case when I have traveled throughout the Middle East and Africa. The shared kitchen area was also very clean. Mr.Ahmed, the owner, and his staff were very responsive to my needs. Shortly after arriving in Egypt Mr. Ahmed used his personal car to drive me to the grocery store. I am not very fluent in Arabic, so whenever I needed a taxi, Mr. Ahmed and his staff were very eager to help me. During a 7 day short trip that I took to Dubai Mr. Ahmed agreed to keep some of my luggage because I didn’t want to have the burden of carrying all of my luggage with me to the UAE. I had a wonderful stay at the Sakan 275 Hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. The internet was very bad. During the first couple of weeks during my 2 months stay it was constantly in and out. During the last two weeks of my stay it was more consistent. This was very bad for me as an independent researcher and writer.
