Kevin (10/5): - I have stayed at every hotel in the Mexico/Kingdom City area and I like the Budget motel because I can stay close to the airport and not waste money on lodging. It is convenient and comfortable.
Cortney (10/5): - The room was very nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. We were very impressed with the breakfast, which is handmade by the owner whom wakes up early every morning to prepare pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy with various fruits. Our only negative comment would be the lack of a door in the bathroom. But the room had been remodeled recently so im guessing that a door will be put on soon....i hope.(Hot water was impeccable) If we happen to be in town again, this will be the place we go!

Verified traveler (4/5): - When I went to check in there was a note on the door saying closed until 4 p.m. Gone to a homecoming parade. This is not good business. A guy standing outside the door told us this was not a good place to stay. He said nothing works and they won't fix it. Check in was at 2;00 but they didn't open up until 4;00. So I waited until 4;00 and walked in and told them I was cancelling my reservations. Someone should have stayed at the desk while the other staff went to a homecoming parade. I was not happy.

Sara (2/5): unsafe- police called - Short story a nightmare- they gave someone else my room and I was walked in on while I was topless. The owner kicked me out after screaming at me because I was upset by this. I called the police for my safety in leaving and the report number is 18-03553 ...was told he would cover the stay at another near by hotel but rooms weren't available at the first one I stopped at, so I went to another, the clerk called the hotel number and it wasn't a valid number, I was thr number on my hotel receipt. I eventually had to stay somewhere else for a much higher price outside the hotels.com network at my OWN expense. No stay should cause 911 calls for harassment and have police envolvement. I was very upset and shaken by the entire experience. This is a polite a recount of the situation there could be, i have much stronger feelings and language . PLEASE never let your wife, mother daughter or niece stay here it's unsafe and the owner is creepy and abusive asking overly personal questions on checkin - photos are of a dirty STILL wet bathtubug gross hairs all over

You know it's an older hotel and the price is definitely cheap enough but when there is a disgusting QUEEN size blanket on our KING size bed...............That's just WRONG!!!!There shouldn't be burn holes in the blanket of a NON-smoking room! The free WIFI is the worst I have ever experienced. On and off the entire time and when it IS on it is soooooooooooo slow!!!!

Verified traveler (8/5): Visit - We really had a great exeperience for our one day stay. The only thing I would recommend is that they update their plumbing in the shower. I was unable to get any kind of water pressure in the room that I stayed in. I tried to adust the water temperature and finally had to give up. Other than that everything was super clean and just neat.

Peggy (4/5): - Walking into the lobby I was scared to book as the carpet was very dirty and ripped up and it smelled strong of cooked food as I think the manager lived there too. Even though all the other hotels we were able to pay in advance by credit card we weren't here and had to pay at the counter. Not very friendly either. Our room was ok. The tub area was sort of moldy looking. Ok here I go.... My bf thinks he was bit by bed bugs in this hotel. We are still trying to figure out if I was too. This hotel wasn't up to par as to the pictures shown.
Janet M. (10/5): Inexpensive getaway - I think the cleaning help took off in the middle of cleaning my room. They piled up the towels and trash inside, by the door and left them. It needs some tender care but as a whole it was in pretty fair shape for the price. Great restaurant next door!

Have stayed in several places in the Fulton/Kingdom City area. This was worth the extra drive. The room was much cleaner than other places I have stayed.
Al (4/5): Poor marks. - While it is true, you get what you pay for, we had hoped for a little better conditions. The toilet could have been cleaned better and it ran all night. The mattress was as hard as they come. No coffee pot in the room (there was a microwave and a mini fridge) and the hair dryer was in pieces. At 6:00 a.m., the restaurant next door had a cleaning service do a disaster-recovery type cleaning done with industrial vacuuming running non stop. I am sure we won't be staying here again.
