- Lynda (10/5): - super friendly, clean and cozy
- Robert (8/5): - Fantastic buffet brunch
- Kimberley (10/5): - I have stayed here before and never realized that they had a whirlpool. It was nice to use the whirlpool , muchly needed after a day of sitting in a camping chair.
- John (8/5): - Room has been modernized ans was clean. The room attendant was excellent and provided great service.
Dining room hours need to be updated online, it stated a 7 am opening and it was really 9 am when it opened.
- dave (8/5): - đ
- David (8/5): - Great
- Jack (10/5): - Everyone was very friendly and happy to help.
- Margaret (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Robert (6/5): - Pillows were lumpy and way too thick and hard to be comfortable.
TV remote would not work, even after a visit from the mgmt.
- Michael (6/5): Washroom - Washroom was extremely small. Toilet was so low to the ground and was not a highboy. Stairs only to second floor and I am handicapped. They were told that when we booked and we ended up second floor at the very end room. Restaurant was very good.
- Christine (8/5): - Though it was not walkable, all that we needed was close by car and not high traffic. Good park with path along the St. Lawrence River and historical plaques was worth spending time at.
- Melody (10/5): - This was the best hotel out of the first 6 ont the trip. Front desk manager was tops. Best Fish n Chips in 15 years.
- Barbara (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and quiet. The service staff in the restaurant were knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended
- DAN (8/5): - The staff at the counter was verry friendly and accommodating and the room was clean.
- Stéphane (10/5): - It was a really wonderful stay with a nice pool. Everywere was clean, kind staff. Bed a bit soft, but slept well.

- Manitok (10/5): - Well, run well, organized, friendly staff good food, convenient location
- Elaine (10/5): Unexpected Hidden Gem!!! - McIntosh Country Inn was surprisingly amazing and a real hidden gem. The staff were so friendly and accommodating especially the gentleman that fulfilled my request for a quiet and private space for a meeting in the evening I could not take from my room. Also, the riverfront park and walkways are an incredible way to experience a gorgeous portion of the magnificent and historical St. Lawrence River. This was actually a huge surprise for us and a real unexpected treat in the community. The restaurant was also superb with a great and cheap - thatâs right cheap - happy hour with $5/$6 pints of beer and the best liver and onion dinner Iâve ever had. And nope Iâm not a senior, just love it!
- lauretta (10/5): Loved our stay - Loved this hotel. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We are travelling with a cat and they welcomed him like one of the family.
The decor is very nice. They have a lovely sitting area in the lobby. That is very comfy and the pub and restaurant is just across from the check in counter
- Kelly (8/5): - the staff was very friendly and helpful but the building is old and needs work, the windows are old and the air conditioner was old and noisy. the bathroom was clean but there was a sour smell that was off putting. The restaurant was only open for the buffet and we had to eat in the noisy bar area, when we were tired and just wanted a quiet meal.
- Carol (8/5): - The restaurant dining was excellent. Great food and great service, reasonably priced. Seems to be a popular patio location. The room was small and modest but clean and fine for two travelers. We found a nice beach and walking path close by.
- Claude (8/5): - Wonderful staff at front desk who were helpful and very friendly. This is a quaint Inn, that had a good pool and hot tub. Beds were pretty comfortable but room is outdated. Water stains in bathroom and old carpet on floor in room. Overall not a bad stay.
- Martine (8/5): - Lâheure d'ouverture du restaurant Ă 9h00. Nous aurions aimĂ© plus tĂŽt
- Catharine (10/5): - The breakfast food portion was great!
- Marta (6/5): - Staff at onsite restaurants awesome. Cleaning staff great. Front desk staff disinterested and perfunctory.
- Douglas (10/5): - No complimentary breakfast - but the hotel had a great restaurant. Nice swimming pool and hot tub!
- Carla (6/5): - It was okay.
- Alan (8/5): - No
- shannon (10/5): - It was a last minute booking. I arrived well after midnight. The front desk person was great.
- Janet (8/5): - Very nice place, we only stayed for one night but I would gonagain
- Verified traveler (2/5): Would never stay here again - The check on staff were smoking at the front door area. Upon entry the place smells musty. The room had mould and mildew smell. All my personal items and suitcase smell of mould and wet. Everything in the room, sheets included, were damp
- Fanella (6/5): - It was fine fir a 1 night stay.
- Cory (6/5): - Was clean but very dated. We booked two queen beds but our beds were doubles and very small.
- Rawlin (8/5): Stay - Our stay was good.
Glad there was a restaurant in motel, makes it alot easier with children. But they didn't do breakfast, we had to go out searching for breakfast
- Gordon W (10/5): - The front desk staff helped us through what was a slight mixup in our resorvation. Everything worked out great.
- Sharon (8/5): - Nice clean place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant on the property.
- Rhonda (10/5): - Staff where very nice
- James (10/5): - Great cocktails. Wendy was superb.
- Alexander (6/5): - Fridge not working in the room. AC control not working, too cold in the room. No breakfast available contrary to description.
- Sabrina (10/5): - Buffet dĂ©licieux! Chambre trĂšs propređ excellent serviceđ
- John (10/5): - The attached restaurant was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Customer service was outstanding... every single employee that we spoke to were awesome. We'll be back!!
- Cathy (10/5): - Quaint, clean, comfortable place to stay. Loved the patio and tavern.
- Barry (10/5): - đ
- Holger (10/5): Good choice when in Morrisburg. - Very nice Inn near Upper Canada Village. Cllean, comfortable room with comfortable beds and good wifi. Excellent food at the restaurant with a large selection of dishes to choose from. The only issue is that the restaurant isn't open for breakfast. We would stay here again.
- Christopher (10/5): - It was a very friendly comfortable place...i was made to feel very much at home..its not brand new ...but it is a warm and cozy atmosphere
- Henry (4/5): - Posting a room which is not available anymore. Hot tub not available
- Judit (8/5): - The cleaning lady started vacuuming at 7 in the morning and didnât stop although it was Sunday. The heater was so loud we had to get up and turn it off.
The room was in the lower level and had a musty smell.
So we were ready to check out early.
- Sharron (10/5): - Handy
- Joanne (10/5): - Very nice
- Cam (10/5): - A
- Connor (8/5): - nice
- Shirley (8/5): - A very nice place to stay for a night.
- Coleen (10/5): - Close to live theatre
- Regula (10/5): - Very welcoming and friendly staff
- Grout (6/5): - When booked through Expedia, it shows the breakfast is included. So does the sauna. But the staff at the scene said there is no breakfast and no sauna because it is holiday time. The date is specified during booking so it is a problem between Expedia and the hotel. As a customer, I do feel cheated somehow for this false advertising. A reasonable financial compensation is encouraged to remain the the trust of me in Expedia.
- Blake and Gail (6/5): - This hotel is basically the only one in the area. Room price at $145.00 was reasonable FOOD TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE. Fish & Chips $25.00 (one piece) Caesar wrap - $23.00, Fr. Fries $10.00 - gravy $2.50 - its almost as though they double what other places charge
- pamela (10/5): - .
- Logan (10/5): - Charming. Would stay again. Friendly staff.
- Steven (10/5): - Clean. And fine for the price
- Coleen (10/5): - Friendly checkin.
Great service in the bar and great buffet, friendly, helpful efficient servers.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Short distance to PlayhouseTheatre.
- veronica (10/5): - Cleanliness of rooms and general areas. Friendly check in and outstanding service in dining room
- Michael (10/5): - Great stay. Very friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Over priced & Outdated - Upon arrival, window was open so room was freezing. We cranked the heat up to 80F so that the room would be warm when we returned late at night BUT nothing happened, still cold room. The carpet didnât appear to be vacuumed as we found Tumâs & a Gravol Pill wrapper beside the bed closest to the window & an old French fry behind the arm chair. The fridge is so tiny, we had to lay our wine bottles flat. The conditioner was half used. The room needs updating, old furniture & ugly bedspreads.
Restaurant food & service was good. $200/night is TOO expensive for this room.
Website says outdoor heated pool open until OctoberâŠwas closed even though awesome weather
- Darren (10/5): - It's a nice quaint place. Better than we expected. Food , room , staff all exceptional.
- Jim (10/5): - Great stay
- Philip (8/5): - Very nice
- Gary (10/5): Good Stay - Generally very good. Restaurant was good but a tad pricey.
- Richard (10/5): - Staff were so friendly
- Fernando (8/5): - All good
- linda (10/5): - Room was quiet as were the hallways. I liked that there was two options for dining - a sports bar and separate dining room. Food and service were both good. The only issue for me was parking being a long walk to my room.
- Deirdre (8/5): - This is an older hotel. It has an interesting layout, took a bit to get oriented. Unique comfortable decor. Room was very quiet. I slept with the window open. No outside noise. Bed was comfortable. The pillows were awful. Didn't run ac so no idea. Bathroom was very small. Functional is kind. But clean. Everything was clean if aged. Restaurant was very good. Needed reservations for prime rib buffet but was available through the regular dining room which wasn't busy. All staff members were great. Friendly and helpful. Good for a overnight stay. No complaints
- Jessica (10/5): - We stayed here during a visit to upper canada village. The staff were very kind and attentive. The rooms were a good size and beds comfortable. My kids really loved the outdoor pool and i had a nice soak in the hot tub.
- Michael (10/5): - Much better than I expected given some of the prior reviews. Clean, serviceable, staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Restaurant served a decent breakfast at a reasonable price. Overall a good experience.
- Marianne (6/5): - Itâs dated and a quite grubby.
- William (10/5): - A lovely place to stay while we attended a show at the Upper Canada Playhouse, a short drive from Ottawa. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Very nice room and great dinner in the restaurant. We will be back in October.
- Michael (8/5): - Clean. Friendly staff. Dining on site.
- Rhonda (10/5): - It was a nice clean place to stay.
- Laura (6/5): - Dining expensive 24 $for a sandwich
- Michelle (10/5): Family trip - Older hotel but in good repair. Friendly reception. Clean pool.
- Rebecca (6/5): - Dated decor, over-priced. Thin walls, could hear everything in halls and rooms next to us. Very clean though and helpful staff.
- Ronald (10/5): - Loved the easy access to the pool
- James (10/5): Comfortable stay for 2 days - The bed was very comfortable and the food in the bar was very good and served hot.
- John Raoul (10/5): - excellent
- Zulekha (10/5): - Really liked the property. The staff were amazing. Very helpful and courteous.
- Gerald (8/5): - The hotel is ok. Upgraded to a room for family with no extra costs.
Outdoor pool was good.
Bathroom needs a good cleaning.
- Sylvia (6/5): - Nice and clean and staff friendly and helpful.
Beds were very soft and the pillows really terrible. Probably chip foam with absolutely no substance.
Very dated but again very clean
- Angelena (10/5): - We went for a wedding and the staff was amazing and I would stay again and recommend
- POULAMI (10/5): - Very good experience
- Dana (8/5): - Wonderful Inn. Very nice people. Room held us and our bikes comfortably. Only knock was the room seemed damp and the AC wasnât wonderful. On the plus side was the pool and the hot tub. The restaurant was very good as well.
- alain (8/5): - No breakfast included
- Moses (10/5): great place - The Inn is very nice clean and has all the amenities. staff are very friendly and helpful. the restaurant is very nice and food was great.one of the best Inns we have stayed at.
- chris (8/5): - It was just ok. It seems like it was older with a hint of old british aristocracy
- Ken (8/5): - Wonderful staff! Great atmosphere. In a convenient location, no views. But outdoor patio and close walk to the water.
