- Seth (3/5): - The price Found hair in my bed. Not a single hair. Clumped hair. The window in the bathroom appeared to have mold around it.

- Christian (9/5): - Affordable clean Motel - right at the road - ideal stay for a roadtrip
- armando (10/5): -
- Zalynn (6/5): - The town had very sketchy people come out at night. The crew caught an individual looking through the window of the work truck. They were able to scare him off. Poor lighting of the parking lot. Will not be booking this motel again.

- Alyssa (7/5): -
- Georgina (10/5): Good stay - Easy place to stay, quiet rural town. 1.5hr drive from Volcano Park
- Dennis (10/5): - The staff were helpful, room and bath clean, with microwave and refrigerator for convenience, lots of hot water, and very quiet and efficient air conditioner on a very hot day. Not many restaurant options, but it was a Monday.
- Andy (10/5): - So easy, clean, and convenient. Price was excellent.

- Misti (1/5): Would not recommend to anyone. - The bed was soft The guests were sketchy at best- it feels like there may be some questionable things going down there. The place is in the middle of nowhere, yet the parking lot is full except for a single space. When my kids were getting in the car- before I came out- someone was staring at them with a phone pointed their direction. I walk out and then the man’s posture and location change. There was ALWAYS someone outside- it was very suspicious. I would never be comfortable staying here.
As far as the actual room, the microwave is older than me, the bathroom smelled of sewage, and I asked specifically for rooms to be together, and they were located across the parking lot from each other. The soda machine was out of order and all the gas stations closed at 9pm. The bed itself was comfortable however.
- Robert (9/5): One of the best stays during our 10-day trip and certainly the cheapest. Highly recommended. - Very affordable room, clean and tidy. Staff (only one that we saw) was excellent, very helpful and friendly. I recommend this motel and would stay there again. There was nothing to dislike about this property or the staff. Very short walk to the nearest restaurant.
- Janorys (8/5): - It was nice and clean. Friendly staff.
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Thanh (7/5): Good -
- Reuel (8/5): - It was a quick and inexpensive stay. I would have more to say and have a better evaluation, but I got there after 1 a.m. and only could sleep for 4 1/2 hours and didn't get a chance to fully look nor utilize the room. The best thing was the refrigerator which worked very well including the freezer. Unfortunately the TV service was out and I didn't have time to watch anyhow, but it was a negative for me that I didn't have the option to watch. Internet was good though.
- Xun (10/5): - Good.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good -
- Therese (9/5): Superb -
- Minnie (10/5): I would recommend this place - It was very clean Nothing
- Shaguna (1/5): Worst service and misrepresentation - N/a Website said they allow pets. I showed up after driving for 10+ hours only to find out they take dogs, but not cats.
Front desk said I could keep the cat in the car overnight but not the room.
When I said the website said pets, she said it didn’t include cats.
Asked for a refund and was refused.
Had to drive another 40 miles to get to another motel that actually allowed pets.
Would never recommend.
- Rick (10/5): - Nice for a quick overnight stay on my roadtrip from Tucson to Sandpoint. Right on 97 it’s your basic motel with a Fridge, some coffee and a microwave. Easy parking and friendly staff. There is a restaurant and store but a tip, bring snack and have a breakfast up the road somewhere or 8:00 the Mexican restaurant serves breakfast.
- Dayne (8/5): - Great price. Comfy bed. Refrigerator and microwave.
- Courtney (8/5): Very good - Great price and the sweet little family who operates it. The bed wasn't very comfortable
- Carol (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (10/5): - Person at counter very friendly rooms clean
- Josh (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (8/5): - Nice small motel in a very small town.
- Anthony (6/5): - It was good for the price. It was just a place to sleep and go for me . No pool or anything small town. Just nice . It was worth it for its price.
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (10/5): - price was right for basic motel room. person in office very nice and polite. only issue, no working internet and cable/direct tv not working. we were too tired to go ask for assistance.
- Silas (9/5): a comfortable place to sleep - An easy location to find and get around. The microwave is old and slow, with broken turntable
- Katherine (8/5): It is perfect to have a relaxing time - It is so quiet Extremely far away from the mount Shasta
- Henry (9/5): Will stay again - Staff, cleanliness, comfort & value were excellent Though no fault of the motel - the train and semi trucks are loud
- Larry (1/5): Bad -
- Aaron (6/5): - Room was larger than expected. Had a fridge and microwave and very comfy King bed.
- Kayla (2/5): - We had roaches in our room
- Linda (8/5): Very good -
- Shelly (6/5): Convenient and affordable, I would come back for a similar trip in the future. - It was close to several wildlife areas I wanted to visit that are too far from my home in Redding. It was very affordable and clean. The room smelled like an old smoking room with a heavy cleaner smell on top.
There was nowhere to eat dinner in town and I had to drive to Klamath Falls at the end of the day. I expected at least a couple places to be able to have dinner by what I saw online. It was unfortunate that El Ranchito hadn’t opened back up from after the holidays, but if I were them, I wouldn’t want to come back here from Mexico in this current political climate either!
- PERRY (8/5): - Right outside room 201 was a diesel truck who started the truck and 5am and let it idle for at least 1/2 hour. Super loud and paper thin walls. Ok so I got an early start to my day. But other than that, nice place to stay for a night
- Ante (9/5): Superb -
- Gus (4/5): - Motel is in sad condition
- Teddy (6/5): Pleasant - Small
Friendly staff Bed was dirty and old
- Farren (10/5): - Good place
- Frances (8/5): Good place - Great staff and nice stay and cheap for rooms
- Pat (4/5): - The town had just 2 restaurants, no grocery store, just a Dollor General. The hotel Golden Eagle had no ice machine or continental breakfast, the owner/manager was hardly in the office. My room was very cold, especially the bathroom.
- Taylor (8/5): Very good - Had what you needed and was close to shops and bars
- Michael (4/5): - Another place where I had to kill 3 flies and a bug in order to rest peacefully. Not worth the money paid.
- Eric (10/5): Simple, friendly and comfortable. - It is a older property that has been refurbished well. Not fancy but very comfortable. I recommend this place for a good night sleep.
- Valentina (8/5): Nice and welcoming room with all the essentials - The motel had everything you need while traveling from town to town. When you are on a road trip, you really just ask for the essentials: a room big enough for your luggages to fully open, a nice and clean bathroom, a microwave and a fridge. We found all of this at Golden Eagle Hotel. The only downside for us was the location. We stopped in the area to visit Crater Lake National Park. The little town of Dorris is a little far from the park, but we eventually opted for Golden Eagle because of its competitive rates compared to other motel in the area and we were content with our choice.
Also, we found some sketchy people walking around the Motel, especially close to our window, which was annoying.
- Suguru (10/5): I will choose this motel again in the future. - Lowest price I find in Northern California near OR border, and yet all I need for a business stay is available while the management is extremely nice. The town of Dorris is not very active, for instance choices of gas stations and restaurants are scarce.
- Noemi (10/5): - Friendly and enjoyable
- Gary (6/5): - 2nd night there people were yelling and carrying on next door. I left. 5 hours to home felt safer than staying. The lady who checked me in (owner?) was very nice.
- Robert (6/5): - There were repairs needed to the shower head. There was a hole in the drywall and pipe was hanging out of the wall. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall. Someone knocked on doors several doors down very loudly and carried on a loud conversation in the middle of the night.
Very noisy place.
- Vicki (10/5): Surprise along a long drive - Old motel that has been renovated. Very clean, bed super comfortable, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great value.
- Re Anah (10/5): - The gentleman that checked my husband and I in,was super generous, and accommodating . Room very clean and neat .
- Patric (6/5): Pleasant - Outdated room, no bathroom sink, room felt filthy
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quick and easy check in, parking very close to room… Tidy room… Felt safe for a quick overnight rest while on the road
- Pamela (8/5): - This is a very nice room. Clean with a comfortable bed. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker were provided. I would stay there again
- Lukas (8/5): Very good -
- Aida (10/5): Exceptional - Good location
- Cindy (8/5): Very good -
- Cris (9/5): It was enjoyable. - Location as on our journey route.
- Rayan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pantea (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robert (8/5): Rest - A great place to rest up on a road trip.
- David (10/5): SAFE PEACEFUL - When checking out, the manager of the motel, said if we needed to come back and stay another night, we didn’t need to book the room, she would just hold the same room, and that if we’re not going to be coming back, to give a call. Ends up we weren’t in need to come back, and we gave her a quick call. Super nice people, great area, quiet, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a restful night. We were very happy with our stay. Everything was great, nothing to change.
- Vieira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judd (7/5): Good -
- Dupinder (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (2/5): Stay somewhere else!! - The most brightly lighted motel room I’ve ever been in. How did this motel ever get an AAA diamond rating? Bedsheets were clean but the rest was so bad it’s almost laughable. Cabinets around sink area had empty beer bottles & trash in them. Microwave is right next to the only tiny sink— but the outlet to plug it in is less than 3” from sink: ELECTROCUTION HAZARD: this cannot be to code! See photos. Fridge won’t work because its cord is too short to reach same outlet. TV didn’t work because the cable system hasn’t been hooked up. When I questioned the manager, she blamed this on the handyman. So why do they even rent the room out if so much is out of order? Motel seems to be extremely poorly maintained (if at all). Parking area was littered & messy. Curtains wouldn’t close. Etc, etc.
- Tiffany (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (8/5): Very good -
- Kenneth (10/5): A+ - Very satisfied. Will return.
- Thao (5/5): Everything about the hotel was excellent. Good environmental and service. Just need a couple items. - I liked the clean rooms and the good environmental odor smells. It was good and excellent. I didn't like the fact where the vending machines were empty. It would've been great if they were to provide silverware and other miscellaneous items.
- Nazmul (7/5): Clean, comfy good nights resting - There weren't any breakfast. Bed linen & bed was very clean & comfy. Room was big enough for me. You get what you pay for, I guess 😁
