- Wade (5/5): Adequate, but definitely lacking - 1) It seemed sufficiently clean, but the carpet felt a little eewwy. 2) It was a little annoying that the A/C (which blew cold enough, thank you) would just blow up into the closed curtains above the mini-split unit and not out into the room. Of course, we could've opened the curtains, but the lights from nearby businesses were not conducive to sleep. 3) I think we stayed in Room 321, if memory serves. 1) One thing most ppl expect at a hotel is to be able to stream whatever they want or at least access their home subscriptions, like Prime Video. I missed that entirely bc the internet was down. What's worse is to find it had been down for a whole day prior & nobody knew until I asked what was up. Even worse, a 24/7 hotel operation couldn't get IT support for this until my stay was over. Very unacceptable. 2) Another beef was the value. I booked my room on supposedly the best day of the week for value, but no discounts at all. [Apps like Trivago proved worthless ... does BW partner with them?] I got the distinct impression the hotel was virtually empty, but yet I paid full price! I thought 'lower demand, better price' was still an economic reality. 3) The breakfast was 'Mehhh' ... Waffles were fine, but maybe REAL scrambled eggs, just a little fresh fruit, and a carton of half&half (less pre-packaged chemicals?) for coffee drinkers would go a long way. 4) Honestly, considering all the above, a partial credit/reimbursement would be in order.

- Kristin (4/5): Find somewhere else to stay! - Outdated facility that had buckling vinyl floor planks and a sticky floor. Hugely overpriced! The hallways and common areas had carpet that looked to be from the early 80's. The finishes in the rooms were in bad condition and outdated. This pet-friendly hotel had terrible outdoor conditions for our dogs. The landscaped areas had sprinklers but it was obvious that they hadn't been used for a very long time. The 'grass' was like straw and had pickers in it!

- N2280VRbarbaraj (6/5): Breakfast - This hotel is pretty nice. It has an indoor pool. The room we had had a tub that drained slow. There was hair in and on the tub. When we got to breakfast about an hour before it closed there wasn’t but a very small amount of scrambled eggs left. Not near enough for a serving. They could not or would not make more. Omelets had cheese and ham in them if you like that. I would try again sometime. The price was better than Childress.

Definitely recommend this hotel, it’s nicely designed, cool art that is well hung throughout and very nice lighting. Other Best Western’s could learn a lot about hospitality from this location!

- Sheddy (1/5): We paid but didn't stay. - We didn't have breakfast. We tried to check in an hour early because we had a funeral to attend at 2:00 PM. Check-in was at 3:00. We asked when we booked the room, but did not get a reply from the facility. We checked with them in person when we got there and they told us they could not accommodate the request. The staff was aloof and unaccommodating. There were obviously very few people staying that night. Certainly there was not a crowd - 5 cars in the parking lot. After the service was over we decided to forfeit our reservations and drive 6 hours back home. It was a FIRST and LAST visit that did not end well or comfortable for the traveler. From the outside, the facility was new, clean and attractive. Customer service training seemed to be lacking.

- Textraveler2013 (10/5): Definitely stay again - We like Best Western Plus because we can depend on the brand to have consistent standard of quality. The BWP in Clarington was clean, efficient, had at least two chairs so we could both sit. The breakfast was usual motel breakfast. The staff was friendly. I wish I could remember the front desk person’s name.

- Donny Angel (10/5): Very Comfortable and felt safe - The property is new and very well kept. Easy access. The staff were ALL friendly and spoke English. We have stayed in hotels where it was hard to communicate with the staff, so this was very nice. The pool was clean and without asking when the desk clerk saw we were going in, turned the spa on for us to warm it up. The bed was comfortable too. The morning breakfast was very good. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Colorado.

- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful comfortable stay. - Parking lot was clean and well maintained. Loved walking into the lobby with the Fall decor, beautiful & homey. The staff were super friendly and informative. Absolutely adored all the art work throughout the hotel. Room was spotless, loved the bottles of water in the room, used for in room coffee in the morning. Couch & coffee table were awesome to sit at. Room had everything a person needs. Hot water with great pressure. Beds were comfortable. I spent 2 weeks on the road, Red River was the BEST hotel I stayed in. Only negative I could say, No lids for the to-go coffee cups. 😊 5 ***** Hotel. Nothing

- Tracy (10/5): Little GEM in West Texas - This is a GEM of a hotel. Clean. Well maintained. Even free breakfast was way above average (no wispy bacon strips, reconstituted eggs, and the like here). Everyone on staff was top notch.

- Homoiselle (9/5): Great place to rest. - I liked the waffle and the bacon and the apple juice.@ A manager was blowing off the driveway, making it very neat and tidy. The lady checking us in was extremely cordial and efficient. Loud trucks going by( it’s right on the highway). Someone’s car alarm kept going off during the night, then it would go off again, and again. We looked out the window, but saw no one. This is not the hotel’s fault! But annoying.
