• Kathy (10/5): Enjoyable stay at Inn of Coushatta!! - We thoroughly enjoyed our spur of the moment stay at Inn of Coushatta. From the ease of booking and checking in, courtesy and friendliness of the staff, clean room with an abundance of room amenities, our stay could not have been more perfect! Within walking distance of Coushatta yet even had a shuttle to and from. Our only wish would have been an onsite restaurant or at least breakfast included.

• Treva (2/5): Absolutely the WORST hotel experience of my life!! - You know that smell gramma's house use to have back in the day...yeah, that mothball mixed with musk smell, well this hotel smells worse than that! I booked here because of high reviews on Hotels.com, ONLY TO BE MET with unsatisfactory customer service and an old smelly hotel with hot hallways and a smelly room!! Yuk, disgusting, and I should have selected another hotel other than this smelly overpriced subpar joint!! I HATE handing my credentials to a clerk only for her to demean me and place it on the counter when returning them back to me, so %/\=#; disrespectful!! Oh yeah, don't expect the convenience of using your key at a side door for entrance because there's no such thing here!! Oh and my room had an 'uninvited guest', a roach on the side of the bed and FYI the toilets are EXTREMELY low at this hotel!

• Daydream10398629349 (2/5): BEWARE: Mice in this Inn. - After reading the reviews on this place, I booked my stay for 5 days for a business trip. I was initially satisfied with my decision until my 2nd day there. I came back after work and saw a mouse in my room. Rodents are my biggest fear. The front desk clerk helped me ,one to another room, but what good is that? If there are mice in my room, there are mice in this entire hotel! That's how mice are. If I wanted top stay with mice, I would have stayed at one of the cheaper motels in the area. And I would have paid more than half of what I paid at the Inn at Coushatta. I requested the manager,Missy Attales, get back to me, provided my contact information, and the clerk stated she sent an email with my request to the manager. The next day after work, I asked the clerk if the manager had received my request because I had not heard from them. They confirmed the email was sent to the manager, Missy Attales. The nest 2 nights, still no word from the manager. I checked out that Friday morning and saw an email from the manager hours after I had checked out. The manager offered me nothing but a future free night stay. Why she thinks anyone would visit Inn at Coushatta again after that horrifying experience, I do not know. She waited until after I had checked out to take any action. The right thing to do would have been to offer guests free nights while they were still guests, if they had endured such a stay.

• bethlK3984CU (2/5): Not happy - STAY AWAY from THE INN..,This place is a dump. It stinks like a wet dog or old carpet that has been wet and then dried, when you walk in the door. The room is a dump, tore curtain, no microwave, small TV, the little frig sits on a table. It cost my sister and I on Friday nite 11/8/24. $192... And they don't care.......

• travis (8/5): Cold A.C. - The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room ac was cold. I tried the shuttle. It was convenient most the time. Except on my way back to the hotel on one of the trips. We waited so long we ended up walking back. We never saw the shuttle the whole way. The only problem we had in the room was a carpet nail poked me in the foot. So i just kept my shoes on.

We enjoyed our stay and that's why La Choushatta is my favorite place to go and have a great time. The location is adjacent to the casino where you can walk or drive . It's your preference. Happy fun place=La Choushatta!

• Lydia2477 (10/5): Coushatta Inn - Room 102 is a large suite very clean comfortable and quiet (even during the Crossroads Festival). Ac worked fine, bed comfortable with lots of pillows. Bottled water and good coffee, microwave and fridge included. No issues. Shuttle to casino runs 24 hours upon request.

• bryangB2645VB (4/5): Not Allowed To Use Dream Pool Tomorrow Staying Here - I read on the website prior to booking and guests at the Inn At The Coushatta and Red Shoes RV Park and Chalets are NO LONGER allowed to use the Dream Pool. These guests are charged the resort fees, but still not allowed to use all the amenities? That is a rip off and is one of the dumbest changes I have ever seen. I went to the Beyonder Cajun Moon Resort in Sulphur Louisiana(has two pools and a hot tub and a motel on site for those do not have an RV) it is close to SPAR waterpark in Sulphur Louisiana (only $20 per day). It is close to Horseshoe, Golden Nugget, and L’auBerge Du Lac and I had tons of fun there.
• 910mellissaf (4/5): Very disappointing - The bed was so hard it was like laying on the floor, pillow left much to be desired. There was no continental breakfast as advertised. The shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash were half used by a previous guest. The toilet didn't flush properly, maintenance came and "fixed" it, but it still didn't flush properly. The front desk staff, although friendly, were not helpful with recommendations of other places to eat besides the casino. All in all, pretty disappointing for a quick anniversary get away. We won't book here again.
• Jerry (4/5): - The advertising we saw for Inn at Coushatta, showed it included breakfast. Not until we got there and checked in, we were informed that there was no breakfast. The bathtub was very slippery and we had to go down and ask for a rubber mat. We were informed that they threw them out, but one of the employees said they knew where one was. The was on place for all the towels and they stacked them around the bathroom sink. To use the space. We had to take all the towels and put them on the desk in the room. Not coming back. Will let all our friends know how bad this hotel has become.

• 636mickier (6/5): Fee for calling and making reservations. - When I called to make reservations, they did not tell me I would be charged a $19.97 fee for making the reservation. Also, they did not tell me there was no continental breakfast. The room itself was good with a coffee maker.
• tracygS982KJ (6/5): Exciting to Go to Coushatta Casino - We were just ending a long travel heading back home to Lake Charles and Houston. We decided to go to Coushatta Casino because we were close. The major hotels were booked so we were referred to The Coushatta Inn. The hotel had availability so we decided to stay one night. The hotel had a mildew or scent that we could not identify. You could tell they used carpet powder to cover the smell. The room was nice but the TV never worked properly. We wanted to relax when we checked in and just chill and watch TV. Our plans were not to go to the casino the next morning when we checked in. When we finally got the TV working after having the staff come in twice. Once on, it would loose volume and stop then start. This went on until the next morning. When we were ready for bed, I called for an extra cover or blanket. I was told, "we have no extra blankets." No, sorry, no nothing, just we don't have any. Wow, really!!! We were happy with the price but service and amenities were below standards.
• Heather (6/5): - Under new management there has some kinks to be worked out. The hotel and room were clean but I had a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke so bad I couldn't sleep. There were lots of handprints and streaks on the headboard so the rooms need cleaning from floor to ceiling. The bed was comfortable. The tv remote didn't work. Just a few things the new mgmt can fix. Great shuttle to casino and staff were awesome.
• Tim (6/5): - Bed was comfortable and slept well. I would recommend staying at the Casino if price is comparable. Casino is easy to drive to from here, just across the parking lot. Check-in was fast, but getting to our room and turning on the AC it was loud. Sounded like an 8 Cylinder car idling in the room. There was no way we were going to sleep at night with it. We went to counter to see if they can move us to another room. The attendant seemed put off by the request and not apologetic. Others in our party that were staying in another room actually commented to him that it wasn't my fault the AC was loud because his behavior was so indifferent and unaccommodating. He finally put my wife and I in a room with 2 queen beds instead of King bed because he didn't want to accommodate us in another King room where the rate was simply $10 more. (Not sure why the new king room was going to be $10 more as our reservation was for a king as well) The bathrooms could use a vent fan to reduce humidity after showers because visually looking at the ceiling in the bathroom you could see the spackle pulling away and bubbling from the moisture. Other than that, the room itself was clean and comfortable. The most upsetting was the treatment at the counter when requesting a change in room and the Service Representatives attitude. That alone will probably guarantee I stay at the Casino in the future and not here.

The rooms were clean and the bed was heavenly...I really need someone from Best Western to email me the name of the pillows, and the breakdown of sheet, spread, sheet ratio that they use when making up the beds! And 3. The lady who was responsible for putting out the breakfast spread the next morning deserves a raise and a standing ovation. Best blueberry waffles I've ever eaten, and the rest of the food was noteworthy!

However, their WI-Fi and internet service is awful.....doesn't work most of the time or you have WI-Fi and no internet. Very disappointing. Might as well not advertise it is available.

I feel like this hotel is charging casino prices and its not the casino. Please review your pricing as I feel it is definitely too high for the quality of hotel this is.

• dnorris5387 (10/5): Close to where I needed to be - This Best Western was close to the Coushatta Casino. The room was clean and fresh when we checked in, everything was in place. Easily accessible to the casino from the parking area at the Best Western. Breakfast was hot and had many choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay here again.

• 450mikeq (8/5): Enjoyable Stay - Attending a golf tournament for Saturday, I needed a place to stay that was close to casino and golf course. This facility provided both. I was thankful for the vacancy. I had planned to stay at the resort. It was full. Best Western was less expensive and provided the necessities I was seeking. I plan to consider Best Western in the future at this location as well as additional trip I will be making in the future.

• nmcintyre32 (8/5): Quick weekend get away - This is our go to property to visit Coushatta Casino. We like staying on the property when it is available. However, the Best Western is right next door and an excellent value for a hotel in this close of proximity to a casino. The rooms are clean although she do so a little bit of age. It is an excellent value and nice property.

• beckyd682022 (10/5): Very Enjoyable Stay….Would definitely stay again - Check in was fast and the girl who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and clean. The bedroom and bath were spectacular. Love the floor plan. The jaccuzzi was heavenly with huge windows behind it and a peaceful view. I spent almost the whole day in the hot tub while my hubby played golf. Cooked breakfast really was good, especially not having to leave the place for it was convenient. Community Coffee was great as usual. The place is very laid back and quiet as compared to staying at the casino. The swimming pool and sitting area are very nice with a nice serene view. There’s also a hoist for handicapped swimmers. My cell phone deactivated my key twice and they happily programmed me new ones. Nice and helpful at front desk. Would definitely stay again.
