Nicole (8/5): Nice hotel but not if you were looking forward to the pool/spa - Very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and nice complimentary breakfast! I reserved this hotel for use of the spa and pool....only to find out when we got there and checked in that they were both closed until further notice I think this should be included on the website before booking as it appears to be a long term environment issue that has the them closed

Crystal (6/5): - The facility was clean, pretty, and well kept. The pool was closed for the stay. The pet fee was higher than what was listed on Expedia, receptionist said they raised their rates. I asked for late check out and was told it would be 1 pm and that there was an extra fee which i agreed to pay, but then when it was time for regular check out staff was knocking and calling me to see if i was going to leave at 1110. The restaurant on site was very good and there is a good range of options for the included hot breakfast.

The free hotel breakfast was limited choice and was not able to mix and match, so if wanted extra had to pay.
Irais (10/5): Pleasant Surprise! - Spent a weekend in Artesia to visit my little brother and it was such a relief to be able to find a last minute hotel like the Comfort Inn! Walking in I immediately was drawn to the decor and then when we met the Front Desk Receptionist, Amanda, I was so happy. My husband is a man of a few words but he felt comfortable and enjoyed the conversation we had with Amanda! She was so sweet and relatable. It felt so good having that amazing interaction and the room location was also amazing. We had the pool all to ourselves for about an hour. The pool room was very clean, stocked with towels, and very neat. Our room was clean, fully stocked, and just what we were looking for. We slept so well, even better than we did at the Air B&B we had the previous few nights! But what really just completely caught me off guard and left us in awe, was the Breakfast Buffet Bar!!! That was honestly the BEST breakfast we've ever had at a hotel! I can definitely say that we will be back and we made sure to add this specific hotel in Artesia, NM to our Favorites on our Google maps!!

Steven (2/5): - To start, made reservations 3 and a half months in advance for a king bed and was told it was’t available which would have been a deal breaker (at any hotel) if I would have known. The carpet in our room was extremely wet for the entire stay! I assume it was shampooed which left a musty smell. Trash truck 6:00 in the morning right outside our window. The security latch on the outside door completely inop with the wires just hanging there. Bathroom sink fixture very loose and the fan would come on for 30 seconds and shut off. Lighting over the sink very dim not good at all especially for women. No light available in the entryway of the bedroom. Bath towels extremely old and thin. Cleaner used for the floors made them quite slippery! No air conditioning in the atrium area. Unfinished stucco around a couple outside windows. The lounge area is closed and never open to have somewhere to just sit and relax with a cocktail. Won’t stay here again and definitely would not recommend to anyone.

I understand locals sometimes trash the rooms but they should of notified me before accepting my info. Even tho it was through booking.

They gave us Breakfast vouchers for a complimentary breakfast menu of a variety of tasty choices to pick from to eat at the restaurant attached to the Hotel. Their Lunch Hamburgers were also delicious reasonably priced.

Chris (8/5): - Good location however, the pool currently is out of order which was frustrating as we were staying with two young teenage children for 3 nights and the pool was one of the main reasons why we picked this hotel. We would’ve cancelled, but we were only told when checking in. Breakfast is cooked to order takes around 30 minutes, so if you’re in a rush, keep this in mind. However, it’s good and probably worth the wait.

We are busy on our end getting things ready for the trip and we as humans tend to forget one of the most important questions, for example “ having the pool available. Unprofessional.

Check in was an hour late because they hadnt finished cleaning. Breakfast was a mess... waited almost an hour to be seated and wasnt acknowledged. Drinks came after the food. Go early if you want breakfast. Dont get the orange juice. Again repeating that the desk amanagement was just outright rude to everyone waiting. One family waiþed over an hour to check in and most had to wait at least half. Had to point out dog poop in the hallway and they seemed upset that i even mentioned it. The room was clean and the beds were nice though. Bring your own shampoo. Theres are tiny and smell bad.

Andrew (2/5): - The pool was not in "service" and apparently had been that way for some time, without any timeframe on repairs. Carpet and bathrooms were in pretty bad shape, as well as the windows allowing dust to blow into the rooms.
JULENE (8/5): - Was disappointed to find that the hot tub and swimming pool were down. Also, our shower had a slow, slow drain. Ended up with water up to my ankles!
Shilpa (10/5): Breakfast service to be made little faster and efficient .it was almost like we ordered breakfast and we got lunch . - Everything in property was good .Room ,hotel premises ,staff everything was great. Breakfast ,since it took more than 1 hr to get the ordered stuff

Mario (6/5): - One main reason we stayed here for indoor pool which happened to be without water and under maintenance which could was not disclosed before we arrived. Hard to have someone help promptly at front desk.

Deloris (2/5): - The pool they showed in ads was broken. Spa not working. Staff at restaurant were inconsiderate to us having vouchers to get breakfast..they argued with me over there unprepared for guests??? Isn't that there job?? Coffee pot broken they did replace it. My husband drinks alot of coffee..and most of the time the front desk were able to have a pot ready.. but no fruits like bananas for the kid's?? Wow even motel 6 do that!!

Bed was comfortable & the room was quiet....did not hear anyone in the hallway or above us....the only draw back was the pool & hot tub were closed & my husband & I were looking forward to using the hottub after driving all day
