• Jennifer (10/5): Our stay was wonderful. I highly recommend staying again. - The property was clean and nice smelling. We were greeted by the sweetest hostess. She was extremely helpful and even offered to guide us to places for dinner, kinda like a concierge at an upscale hotel. She was very thoughtful. Breakfast was delicious the next morning. The whole stay was superb, we will stay again when we’re in the area. Another feature I liked was that the front doors are key in after 9:00. That added another layer of safety to the stay. Much appreciated. 😊 Nothing that comes to mind.

• david (9/5): If I were to return, I would most definitely stay here again! Positive greatly outweighs overall! - I loved the comfort of the bed and the clean aroma of my sheets! The room was very clean and most importantly neat. Towels were extremely white, and all essentials was in the bathroom; shampoo, conditioner, two soap bars and the blow dryer; everything was there! Breakfast was presented well; biscuits was made perfectly and freshly baked. The breakfast area was very clean and since we came down 5 minutes early; she went ahead and let us begin preparing our plates. The woman bathroom by the front entrance and front desk was out of order. The tub was not much of one, because It was very low to the floor with not much siding, so basically it was only a shower. Weirdly to me the coffee and coffee pot was actually in the bathroom on the counter. .....Morning Breakfast: I wish the scrambled eggs was fresh and not processed and I wish the meat had at least two options instead one kind.

The hotel itself is a wonderful place to stay, especially when visiting family in this more remote area of Alabama. Its location was perfect—conveniently central to our relatives’ homes as well as nearby shopping. I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning; it was always fresh, delicious, and served in a spotless, comfortable dining area. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, clean, and convenient place to stay.

Hotel no where near as clean as I had expected after reading other reviews. The breakfast was blah compared to the Best Western in Andalusia. Over all 3 and I’m only giving that much cause pool IS open.

The hotel is family owned and the owners were on site and available. It is in a good location. Convienent to several towns in the area. We were arriving very late during a rain storm. The hotel reached out and gave us updates on the weather in the area. Above and beyond what we expected. We will definitely be back.

• Sightseer647576 (2/5): Poor Smell and rude staff - We arrived during the night. I had to wait 5 min to get someone to unlock doors to lobby. The lobby smelt of horrible food and it was very hot. The next morning we went to get breakfast and the front desk lady acted irritated to give us plates to eat. There were no napkins and another worker came out and made a rude comment you are eating after I closed breakfast. Food was still out at it was only 8:45 AM. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
• butterfly1235085 (10/5): BEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER - I can't compliment this location enough! The staff was wonderful and the lady and gentleman at the front desk were absolutely amazing!! Everything was clean and tidy! Fresh linens, towels, wash rags, and hand towels were always avaliable! The room was impeccably cleaned and well kept! The hot breakfast was actually hot, the fruit was always fresh, the juices were amazing, and the waffle maker was a huge bonus since we have children! There are absolutely ZERO complaints we have! This will be the only place we stay when visiting family in Opp, AL!

Fresh linens and toiletries were always avaliable upon request. My favorite part was actually the staff! The front desk lady and gentleman were absolutely delightful! They interacted with my husband, me, our children, and family members in such a joyous way! The front desk lady actually played a joke on my niece and told her no pets allowed when she brough in her giant stuffed unicorn and the whole interaction was just delightful! We highly recommend the Best Western Inn in Opp, AL to any and all travelers. Whether it's looking for a nice place on a budget or wanting to stay somewhere with staff that really care about you, this place has it all!

• raymarsr70 (10/5): Best Western in Opp, AL - We made a trip from St Augustine FL and found this motel in Opp AL. A small community and needed a place to stay for the night. Rather new motel so everything was in excellent condition with plenty of parking, but not a lot of people staying the night we were there. No doubt it's the best motel in town without having to travel to neighboring cities. I would definitely recommend this motel for anyone travelling in this area of AL.
• Verified traveler (4/5): EMPTY hotel but no early check in. Bad customer sv - No hand soap in the lobby restroom is a red flag. Only one restroom available/ working. No one was at the front desk to greet you unless you shout 'hello.' The hotel was virtually empty. There were 1-2 cars in the parking lot (including mine) the entire time. I arrived early 11:30-12 and asked if early check-in was available but was denied. Again, the hotel was virtually empty but I was informed the cleaning staff didn't have time to clean rooms (at EMPTY hotel). When I asked if I was the ONLY person in the hotel as my car war the only car in the parking lot when I arrived. At checkout the front desk informed me there were 12 overnight guests. The hotel was basically empty. I understand an early check policy but this was POOOOOR customer service as there were rooms obviously available. The free breakfast is also POOOOR.
