Guest Reviews
- nicole (1/5): INHUMANE and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL - Breakfast, bench outside I arranged a late-check, 12:00pm, instead of 11:00, at arrival the day before. I had my pinning ceremony the next day starting at 12:45pm. At 11:07am, we were thrown out in such a disrespectful, cruel, and disgusting behavior, I can’t even explain. I was in tears and without being ready for my graduation. I could have checked out at 11:00am, but don’t tell me I’m allowed to check-out late and then treat me like a felon.
- Scott (10/5): -
- Danneal (1/5): We will never be staying at this location again. - The only thing I liked was the convenience to the graduation. It was closer to the school. The entire staff was very rude and the place was filfthy and breakfast was cold. We were so rudely handled at check in. It was unbelievable Everything . Except the distance from the graduation
- bandy (2/5): The stay wasn’t comfortable only convenient location coming from ATL - Location The smell on the carpet, dogs inside the hotel, tv in the room had a defect
- Lizabeth (10/5): The area was very pleasant, Location was perfect, everything was exceptionally clean, the bed was the perfect level of c - It was the perfect location Midway on our journey, very clean, and comfort was the max! What’s not to like?
- Arthur (7/5): Pleasant and peaceful. - Mattress and pillows very comfortable. Staff very nice. Having separate fan/light in bathroom would be nice so could turn on light without waking partner. It would be good for housekeeping to occasionally run crevice tool around carpet edges.
- LaVonne (7/5): -
- Kristy (10/5): We stayed here for Parents Weekend to visit our daughter and it was perfect! So clean and comfortable! Great breakfast!! - Very clean and comfortable!
- Carter (7/5): - ;Clean and easy to get too. Road traffic noise made it difficult to sleep.
- Lauri (8/5): - Convenience Could use some things repaired or replaced
- Kyle (8/5): Not perfection but adequate for our needs. - Breakfast was okay, but they ran out of butter! Isn't that a staple in most kitchens? The facility was clean and the food was satisfactory. Be a better planner with staples! Also, the sink in our room has no way to stopper the sink! Sort of wasted water simply trying to shave! The clerk who checked us in on Tuesday, April 7th had zero personality and hardly acknowledged me. She needs to work on public relations skills if she intends to be a good employee!
- Frank (7/5): - Comfortable & clean Property could use some upgrades.
- Antonio (10/5): -
- Mcclure (4/5): Nothing special - Staff was it
- Yolanda (2/5): - Very Clean Staff was horrible, the manager should not be there she doesn't know how to talk to guests. She was very disrespectful to me telling me not to talk to housekeeping, but who else do I get more towels from just a very bad experience? I'll probably never book with Best Western of Troy again. i refuse to be treated the way I was during this visit. I won't ever forget about this experience
- Andrea (10/5): Can’t wait to stay again - The staff was very nice and welcoming. The beds were sooo comfy, and the breakfast was wonderful! Nothing! It was great!
- Pamela (7/5): Not bad for the price. - Good value. No counter space in bathroom.
- Jeanne (6/5): We were wary from a long drive and happy to have an easy check-in and everything we needed in a cle. - Usual breakfast choices. Appreciated the cleanliness. The attendant was friendly and helpful. There is a need for an added coffee maker-there was always a few waiting in line for coffee. The facility could use some updating. Beds were comfortable but could have been upgraded.
- jennifermS7989IR (10/5): I highly recommend Troy Best Western when visiting Troy University for a great overall experience. - Great place to stay! Clean and customer service is the best in Troy. Mitzy and staff are always so polite and helpful. Conveniently located near restaurants and minutes to Troy University.
- Jason (8/5): Very comfortable and convenient. - The lady at the front desk was amazing and got us taken care of quickly, the air conditioner would not go up in temp and switched us out quickly.
Breakfast was good had a great selection. Had a lot of lady bugs in the room and the shower ran out of hot water in 3 mins. Price was about inflated due to things around the area going on.
- Allison (10/5): -
- Sanders (7/5): Overall, the stay was somewhat decent, to a certain extent & the staff workers seemed nice. - The breakfast was okay, but there was only 1 type of breakfast meat on the bar & that was patty sausages & they were too greasy! All 3 days that Me & My daughter lodged in Room 208, we had to deal with Lady bugs flying & hulvering around us & all on the walls & ceilings! They seem to have came from the window area, in some type of way. That was very uncomfortable & aggravating for us to deal with daily! Every time we killed some of them, more would keep appearing & we discovered that a lot of dead ones was already on the floor area, close to the window & central heat & air unit as well, on the first night we lodged in the room! & The reason why we didn't report the problem to the people working at the front desk, is cause we felt like nothing could be done.
- Juliana (9/5): -
- Jessie (8/5): We had a great stay here! The staff was absolutely amazing and our room was very clean and very quiet. I only gave an 8 - the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel The pillows

- Kimberly (9/5): Great location and friendly staff - The check-in staff was great. I don’t remember her name, but I believe she was new because she was being trained The room was a little dark and the fan in the bathroom was loud.
- Elisa (7/5): I was disappointed with this stay. I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times and this was my first bad experience. - Location is great and all rooms open from an interior corridor. My room smelled very musty, like no one had been in this room for quite sometime - I booked this room through booking.com. Since booking.com pre-assigned the room number for my reservation, the hotel staff could not move me to another room. I have allergies and the mustiness made it difficult for me to sleep.
- Michael (4/5): Could have been better. - The indoor pool!
🫶🏽 It wasn't clean. The staff didn't speak English. They didn't have extra towels! I had to ask for conditioner. Someone came in the room while I was getting dressed.

- Teresa (10/5): Enjoyed my stay - Great location and comfortable stay!
- 2dogbeach (10/5): Nice place to stay with dogs - Very friendly front desk and they suprised us at check in by giving us 2 water bottles and 2 bags of snack mix, nice bonus! Dog friendly room and very clean. Breakfast was a nice selection and very tasty. Plenty of parking. Great competitive prices!

- Glenda (10/5): -
- Boyd (7/5): It was okay but not like other best western that I have stayed at. - Your breakfast was good but need to include meat for people who does not eat pork. The breakfast attendant was out standing. She was very helpful with everything. My room never got cleaned even when I requested it and I was told they would do it the next day but when I returned from my meeting my room had not been touched.

- Mike O (7/5): We needed a clean place to stay overnight but it was a little noisy. - It was nice and pretty clean. It was decently priced and in a good location. The breakfast was good. Checkin and check out were very good. It is convenient and close to the highway but there was also a lot of traffic noise. The shower dripped in our room all night so that does need to be looked at.

- Deborah (9/5): - 3 days prior to coming here I was in the hospital for 4 and 1/2 days. I was ready to be on the road and didn't think I would have to stop so soon. But the Best Western in Troy was as wonderful as it could be. I got a great night's rest the bed was comfortable and I spent the next two and a half weeks on the road! Thank you very much
- Meander14451537213 (8/5): Early check in - Great assistance - I had to make a quick one day trip to Troy, AL. My company allows for several hotels to choose from. I picked the Best Western as the price was a bit better than another hotel and it was only 1 mile from where I was meeting a client. On the day of my arrival in town I had a zoom call at noon time. I stopped by the hotel hoping to be able to take the call in the lobby or other quiet area. I met the front desk clerk, Ms. Mitzy. I told her what I wanted to do, but she said she could get me in a room early. She said it would be much more private than in the lobby. I was very appreciative.
My room was on the 2nd floor, not far from the elevator. That was appreciated. Normally they give me the last room on the end of hall.
The room was clean and cool. The A/C didn't cool the room quite like I prefer, but it was comfortable.
The bed was comfortable and pillows were firm just how I like them. Bathroom was clean. The shower had a very good shower head and the water pressure was strong.
Breakfast the next morning was very good. Good variety of food. Coffee was a bit stronger than I like (I like strong coffee). I did not see any fruit that morning. I usually like to grab a banana or apple to go. The waffles were tasty.
The hotel is just minutes away from several restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Again a special thank you to Mitzy at the front desk. Other staff personnel were friendly and courteous as well.
- Sharon (5/5): - Rooms were nice and spacious. The mattress felt worn out and the carpet smelled bad.
- Destin (8/5): -
- Janice (8/5): Great staff. Recommended a wonderful restaurant. -
- cpoidom (2/5): Do not believe the rating - Do not believe the 3.9 rating. I stayed here with my family. We pulled in at 11pm, tired driving back from fl. 1st red flag- the price online was not honored. They told me online sites do not update real cost. 2nd red flag- I get into the room and it smelled like wet basement and the door handle for bathroom is broken off. The carpet was wet and sticky. The bedding was also super moist. 3rd red flag- I tell the night person that we can’t stay in that room and she gives us another room. This room smelled better and the sheets were not wet like a beach towel so we stayed. Bathroom door was broken again! Guess what? We woke up, everything was wet and the carpet was wet and sticky. I told the manager of the issues and she did not care so….here’s your review. DO NOT STAY HERE

- Go55562967712 (6/5): Not the "Best" Best Western I've stayed at! - This stop was on a road trip so didn't have reservations. I know Best Western has a pretty good reputation so I chose the one in Troy, AL. The room seemed clean although the price was a little higher than I expected. When I was getting ready for bed, I noticed a couple of roaches. Later I noticed more roaches. In the morning I told the staff, manager I assume, about them and was met with a lackadaisical attitude when I told her I don't expect to pay $150 a night for a hotel room with roaches and I was disappointed with this stay at Best Western!
- Erick (10/5): Troy Volleyball Camp - The stay was amazing, my daughter had a volleyball camp and she went with my wife, unfortunately I was unable to make it but, my wife was still able to check in under my name, the staff was very friendly and understanding. My wife had no problem checking in and the room was very clean and the staff were excellent.
