- LaBrittany (10/5): -
- April (2/5): - The size of the room It smelled like pee in the room and the pillows weren’t worth laying your head on it
- Brittanica (8/5): -
- Krystal (1/5): -
- Jamie (10/5): Great clean and comfortable stay - Everything was great 👍
- Laurent (3/5): -
- Keondra (1/5): Horrible - Nothing It smelled like mildew and that a/c didn’t really work!
- Shaunte (10/5): -
- Nancy (5/5): - It was a decent place . The staff were friendly and they were very attentive to our needs. There was no elevator. So it is not handicapped friendly. The hallways smelled of urine. But I think it's the product they use to clean with that has a horrible smell.
- Kathleen (6/5): - Well lit in parking lot. Clean inside & out. The beds are too hard! Only negative about the place.
- Tammy (3/5): Will never go there again. - The bed was comfortable Right when we walked in there was a fowl order! It was terrible! I have asthma and suffered all night. The desk worker had some type of diffuser im assuming to hide a bad smell but the diffuser smelt awful. The whole hotel needs a makeover. And of course the pool was closed.
- Clark (7/5): -
- Denise L (4/5): - The hotel is not inviting. They need new sheets, comforters, and towels. All of the linen looked dingy.
- Cedric (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay will visit it again
- Sandra (8/5): The breakfast needs to be better no good choices - Okie It was easy to get to
- Jeffrey (8/5): - The property was located on a quiet strip of road that was set off from the road. Our was good but the only issue was the bathroom faucet was real loose and the bed closest to the wall had bed bugs. As far as outside at night the lighting was good around the building but was terrible closer to the road.
- DeMarko (2/5): - Don’t stay here I checked in changed for my event and left 3hrs max. Wasn’t worth me staying overnight
- Rebecca (2/5): - It had strange smell. Pool was dirty.
- Christina (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay just fine. We were in town to visit family and needed a place to shower up and sleep after activities. The pool was great!
- Alley (8/5): - Very nice property and they were able to accommodate our very large family gathering
- Clark (6/5): Pleasant - The quietness The peeling walls
- JOYCE (8/5): - Clean room, affordable rates, free parking n breakfast. My room was clean, but walking thru the door, I smelled what could've been mold/moisture. Please consider installing a sign closer to a drivers eye level, near the main highway. The sign that is there, a driver won't see it until passing up the place. Happened to me every time I left n came back.
- BIANCA A (10/5): - NO ELEVATORS!!!.. Other than that it is always convenient being its the only hotel in town. Room are clean. Tub step down is really high up. A/C wasnt very cool either. We did the suite and the room very spacious. Of course ill be back.
- Change (5/5): Passable - The breakfast was good
Eggs was too soft. Egg wasn't cooked hard.
- Goodwin (8/5): Very good -
- Judy (10/5): - Clean and friendly
- Debby (2/5): messed up - the reservation was cancelled according to the instructions given at the time of booking. However, the company charged my card and when I called, they said they could not help me.
- Terri (10/5): - Area was quiet; room was clean and bed comfortable. Enjoyed the stay.
- Ashly (10/5): Not too bad for a small town - We were greeted with smiles and let us check in early. Breakfast was really good too. Our TV didn't work when we first got to our room but the fixed it right away. Our toilet got a little clogged with toilet paper but they gave us a plunger so we could fix it.
- Quantasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (7/5): Good -
- Bobby (6/5): - Just mid
- Katherine (8/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (6/5): Best Western, Ville Platte, LA in the country - ice machine broken for 2 days. entrance needs reflector lights so we can see in the dark. mentioned this also on our last stay in May.
- Mamuka (3/5): Poor - I was at the hotel in January, it was cold in the room and the heating didn't work.
The water in the bathroom didn't flow, it was clogged.
- Kiresten (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable and quite Ms. LELA WAS REALLY NICE. No elevator and breakfast made me sick. And could not get a late check out.
- Roger (3/5): Poor - When we opened the door to our room it smelled like a dead animal. I had to turn the air on and open our door to try and air it out.
Water leaked on bathroom floor and the owner brought a white towel in and wiped the floor and told us she had no other rooms available. This was around 4 and we were the only ones at the hotel
- Brian (10/5): - About the only hotel in Ville Platte
- Michael (6/5): Decent for the price. - In town for a family reunion. Location was good and close to Wal-Mart, subway and McDonald's (driving.) Only down side was curry smell when entering. Breakfast was provided but pretty bland. Would stay again though.
- Glory (2/5): - Tv didn’t work the remote couldn’t tune tv breakfast was terrible sausage was so greasy eggs was full of water I’m requesting 1/2 of my money back it was worse experience ever had at a hotel
- Eric (10/5): - It's good for a short stay.
- Shane (2/5): Nasty Human Being/Worst Manager Ever - We called 24 hours before to cancel our reservation. We were told that it had to be cancelled by the manager and she will not be in until Monday. The front desk young lady said it will be processed then and I would receive a call when it is completed. I did not hear anything from them so I called and spoke to Amy who is the manager. I explained the situation and she was the most rude human I have ever met. She should not be in customer service. She lied over and over since this was booked through hotel.com and stated that she never spoke to me so I called her on another phone and caught her 5 times in the same lie. She also stated that she never spoke to hotel.com while on the phone with them and they said we spoke to you several times. She hung up for the 3rd time. I called her back again and requested that she process the refund and she said no bc it wasn’t within 24 hours and it’s passed the day of the booking. She was not listening to what was being said bc I explained to her the whole story from calling 24 hours before to her not being there. She then said hold on I have a customer and number returned. So now I have to make a claim with my bank bc they stole my money. It is said what they have representing their hotels. She needs to understand that without customers she does not have a job. Find some where else to stay. She is a nasty ugly human being. I am so glad we did not have to walk in that place. It is said that a million dollar hotel steals people’s money.
- Raghuram (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kelly (8/5): - property was outdated, but clean with friendly staff.
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Selina (1/5): Our stay was unpleasant will not stay there again - There not much to say,,very disappointing No elevator,, I only seen staff when I checked in breakfast was terrible milk was rotten the pool was locked really didn't matter it was filthy by for the worst Best Western we stayed in
- Rackal (3/5): Wouldn't stay again! - I liked that the lobby and room were clean They advertised they had a elevator but there was none , I asked for a down stairs room cause I have a bad back and neck but was told they didn't havr any . The manager was so rude ! I have a service dog and she made me pay to bring him . The towels felt like sand paper , there was no shelves in the refrigerator to store food , the shower curtain wouldn't close properly, the bed was hard it was like sleeping on the floor!!
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional - It was in a good location and affordable I didn’t like the breakfast at all. The waffle mix had a funny taste and the pan sausage and link taste like they were old and the banana was old. You need to update your breakfast and do better. I have stayed here a few times and the breakfast wasn’t like that.
- Jackson (8/5): Very good -
- Renee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brittney (8/5): It was a nice stay. - The kids loved the pool. Na
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not Great - There are not many options in Ville Platte for hotels. However, I would not stay here again. Our air didn't work properly, the hotel smelled funny, and it was only and felt like paint was covering the problems that were actually there.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Wynn (9/5): Superb - I liked Everything Nothing
- Pamela (4/5): No warning of no elevators - When we checked in we were told our room was on the second floor with no elevator. We asked if there's anything on the 1st because one member of our party has mobility concerns. The irritated clerk says they are full and she can cancel our room with a penalty fee. She said that like 3 times. We repeatedly told her we didnt want to cancel and repeated our request. Again , I will just cancel your room and you can pay the penalty. I told her no...the hotel was full with a little league team with nosiy boys, and you can tell she was fed up.
- Gary (8/5): Good stay - Small motel but family running it very accommodating. Not fancy but clean. Would definitely stay again.
- Norris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kadrienne (5/5): Since the property was good, I probably would stay again if I had to it’s just that the housekeepers need to make sure t - The property was nice. The location was good. I did not like that under the sofa that’s in the room. It had trash under there. One of my pillowcases was very stained up. They had a piece of hair on the toilet, but I did bring my own supplies to sanitize the room so I felt OK after doing so.
- Heather (5/5): Don’t stay here if you have mobility problems. - The hotel was a necessary stop on a road trip. There was no lift which made thingss very difficult. The breakfast was poor quality.
- Lajarvous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Henrietta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (6/5): My Family Visit - The hotel is relatively clean, however rooms have an old smell to them. The hotel is very outdated and could use some upgrades. The breakfast could be upgraded as I have gone here for several years and it’s the same each time.
- Kelly (10/5): - .
- Michelle (7/5): Clean - Clean No elevator to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was below average.
- Keandria (9/5): Superb -
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional - It was very quiet They need to invest in new white towels because they so dingy.
- Christopher (2/5): - I got the room with my points and did not accept that. They want to charge me $87 for the night. I did not stay. I left and went to another place. Do I get my points back?
- Joseph (10/5): I would definately stay there again. - This is the third time I stay at this hotel. Each time was a good experience. The staff is very accommodating and very helpful. The breakfast si always good.
I do appreciate the fact that I was able to travel with my small dog. A Best western in Eunice would not ake my pet.
I can totally recommend your facility. Everything met my expectations.
- Monica (10/5): - I liked the safety, and friendliness of staff.
There was nothing I did not like.
- Kayla (3/5): Poor - Hotel Staff is friendly. I purchased a King Room Suite and they said only 2 Queen Bed Rooms were available. I'm pregnant and the room smelt like pee really badly to the point where it made me nauseous but there was no other hotels available to stay at so we had no choice but to stay.
- Wade (10/5): - The staff members I met were extremely nice and helpful. I will happily stay here the next time I visit the Ville Platte area.
- Daphyane (7/5): Its was clean most importantly - It was ok They need updated towels! They are white towel but they looks tan and over used!
- Kitty (10/5): - Stay was fine once they found our reservation. Not having an elevator was not convenient due to my husband just having knee surgery. Rooms were swapped around due to this need. However room when reserved was a handicap accessible and upon arrival was not. Was happy that swap was able to be done. And was told if it wouldn’t have been able that they would have had to turn us away.
- Lacey (8/5): Very good -
- Paige (2/5): Very poor - Staff was very rude
- Wendy (2/5): - This property is located in an area that is not considered very safe, small town, very little dining or shopping available. Having said this, it is a very good place for the location. I’m a traveling healthcare worker and am glad to have found it! My complaint is that I had a suite on the first night and a very downgraded room the following night for the same rate. I book through Travelocity often- I have not had this happen before. I’m hoping for a rebate, coupon, or other similar to make up for the difference.
- Kawana (8/5): Very good - Rooms price too high
- Alissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Traci (7/5): Good -
- Kylie (10/5): It was great! - Pool was great! Staff was very nice! And breakfast was delicious! Kind of smelled like mold, sorry. Only complaint.
- david (10/5): - Very nice based on the area
- Karmesheia (5/5): Passable -
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (6/5): - The only thing i hated was being charged twice for my room stay when it was covered already when i made the reservation a month before
- Donna (10/5): Awesome - Everyone was very nice and it was clean N/A
- Myra (10/5): - Owners were very nice and accommodating
- Danielle (2/5): Horrible - Noise was horrible. Tv remote didnt work half the time. Breakfast was bad. Asked for handicap room and they called me DAY OF to let me know there wasnt one on first floor. Then she had the nerve to ask how was i going to get to room without a wheelchair. What the hell. Had to leave a day early because husband got into an accident she didnt even want to help me with a refund. No customer service
- Creighton (5/5): For the price that we paid for those rooms, the staff could’ve done better instead of targeting us. - Location was okay. Breakfast could’ve been better. One of the staff members gave us a very difficult time. We weren’t bothering anyone at all either.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (4/5): - I was charged a $50 fee for incidentals, refundable within 5-7 business days. I’ve never had that happen. A/C wasn’t cooling properly and there was no other room available. No effort to make things right.
- Jacqueline (9/5): nice staff good breakfast very cold room - convenient blankets were thin
- Crazylegs (1/5): Bad -
