Guest Reviews
- Jesus (8/5): -
- Lilvia (7/5): Other than the breakfast hours our stay was very comfortable. - Breakfast was good however the breakfast hours were not posted in the lobby. We got there late and went for breakfast at about 8. Very soon food ran out, no bacon, waffle mix etc. Coffee was not good. One of the lamps lightbulb was out. No cups for coffee.
- Karla (10/5): -
- Tania (5/5): Podría ser mejor por el costo - La ubicación es buena. El aire acondicionado olía a humedad, la secadora de cabello no servía
- Simon (5/5): - No comments No Welcome at the front desk just what do you need?
- Eddie (10/5): - Awesome
- Taylor (1/5): never again - Bathroom was disgusting. Shower curtain was covered with mold.
- Charles David (10/5): - Breakfast needed some help, I showed up at 7:45 and everything was empty, I rang the bell and nobody showed up at the desk. I waited 15 minutes and just went to Mac Donald’s
- Dagoberto (8/5): - Parking lot for 18 wheelers
- Dagoberto (8/5): - Parking for my Dump truck
- rudy (10/5): - Comfortable & room was as advertised
- Brian (8/5): - A little noise
- rachel (10/5): Best hotel in town - Had a great stay.. very clean room and friendly service. Enjoyed the breakfast as well!
- Gilbert (2/5): Never Again. - The stay was horrible, the 1st room had a fire alarm that wasnt working and was going off constantly. When moved to another room, that room had water backing up in the bathtub and had a leaking sink. Both rooms had roaches and bug splater all over the place. Even the shower curtains had fresh bug stains. The bed in one room had a major dip in it.
- Terry (6/5): Weekend stay for quail hunting - Checkin easy The price seems high for Hebbronville not a high traffic town.
- Cruz (1/5): Nightmare stay - The cappacino machine and the water were the best parts of my stay. When I got there, the first room I got didn’t have a working door. The staff was helpful and got me into room #206. When I got in the room I closed the curtains and there was what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains. I immediately washed my hands grossed out. I wanted to make some coffee in my room before going out to work that evening and when I looked up on the ceiling above the coffee pot it was completely black with mold, so I didn’t touch the coffee pot. When I woke up in the morning I tried to take a shower but there was no hot water. Everything about this stay was a nightmare, as per our company policy I’m supposed to wait 8 hours before getting back in my vehicle but I had to call my boss and tell him to make an exception because I wasn’t going to stay there a second longer.
- Mark (8/5): Perfect hotel for the area! - Nice staff, clean rooms and pool, next to the border patrol head quarters so safe area, good lighting and quiet!
- Yary (4/5): -
I recently stayed at the Best Western in Hebbronville, and I have mixed feelings about my experience.
**Positive Aspects:**
The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. They made the check-in process smooth and were always available to assist with any questions I had during my stay. Their friendly demeanor made a positive impression.
**Negative Aspects:**
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. When we checked in, the bathroom was not properly cleaned. The shower curtain was stained, which was quite off-putting, and the bathroom floor appeared dirty. Additionally, I noticed that the door frame trim covering the deadbolt was missing, which raised concerns about security and maintenance.
Overall, while the staff provided excellent service, the condition of the bathroom significantly affected my stay. I hope management addresses these issues to enhance the experience for future guests.
- Grounds (5/5): Passable - Availability and location Toilet not suitable for elderly disabled person and it was a handicapped accessible room! Also price too high for accommodations. And breakfast was measly. Only hot option was waffle, instant Oatmeal.
- Utley (4/5): Could have been better - Room was clean Air conditioner not working, coffee (any type) not available at breakfast, shower plumbing shaky
- Brian (6/5): - Common coffee maker (in breakfast area) out of order for days. Ladies room in lobby out of order for days.
- Thomas (10/5): - Quiet clean rooms
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brandon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernabe (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): - Only thing I didn’t like was took forever to get hot water.
- Adan (6/5): Christmas Trip - The location staff very nice No hot water bed was a little uncomfortable
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Rudolph(rudy) (7/5): Good - Bed was uncomfortable & breakfast was limited to cold eggs & no bacon
- Matthew C (8/5): - The direct tv did not work on all the channels, it seemed every thing I was interested in watching would not come in, not hotels fault, I am sure it was direct tv's issue. The A/C made a weird sound all the time but cooled the room nicely, just a little noisy. The free breakfast was good and started at 5:30 am which is good for a working hand. The room was clean and neat.
- Dante (8/5): - Best place for Hebbronville
- Donna (9/5): Superb -
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- Kristal (4/5): Not worth the price by any means - There aren't a lot of options in Hebbronville so I chose this one based on the photos provided. The one winning quality of this place was the very nice woman at the front desk. I needed to cut my trip short & she was very helpful in making that happen. This location is undeniably older & I can tell by the smell. I feel as though they tried to "renovate" at some point because they do have updated moen fixtures. However, that doesn't make up for the remaining problems. The carpet was visibly dirty (pictured) like it hadn't been vacuumed. The bedding was a bit of a disappointment, there was no real duvet to speak of, just thinner sheets. The sheer shade was broken so I had to utilize the black out shades instead for privacy. The breakfast is provided from 5:30a-9am. I needed a quick breakfast before check out around 8:15a & there was nothing left. There also was no attendant to make sure things were replenished. I walked in to dirty tables as well. If you're in a pinch & this is the only option then I would recommend for a roof over your head alone. I would recommend trying a different location or a neighboring town for a better option. They should not be charging more than $100 a night for this place.
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (10/5): Nice little hotel - Clean room, awesome stay.
- Jamie (10/5): - Good clean room. Love the breakfast. Nice lady in the front.
- Enrique (4/5): - It was nice for the area but when asked for extra towels and pillows was told no
- Justin (10/5): - Nice clean place
- Linda (8/5): - Comfortable
- Jose (10/5): - Wonderful and friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice swimming pool. Quiet and safe.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Virginia (6/5): - The towels and sheets were scented, which was a nice touch, but the room itself had an industrial cleaner smell. Would have liked a yogurt and fruit option at breakfast instead of all carbs and some eggs.
- John (3/5): Not the best place for the money that was spent. - We definitely did not have breakfast at facility. So I couldn't tell you how it was. It would be nice if there was hot breakfast such as shelled eggs and not from a box. I did ask the question. In our room the toilet flush handle was not functioning properly. It was difficult to flush. The cleaning staff should have caught that while they were cleaning.
- Robert (8/5): ok but over priced - location panties in closet not ours
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Raquel (5/5): Passable -
- Patsy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deck (8/5): - Friendly staff, informative, limited dining in town, ample parking, good security with Border patrol station headquarters across the road.
- Armando (8/5): - Stay was great. Breakfast was good. The only thing for me was the TV was broken would only show one channel.
- Gerald (4/5): Avoid this Best Western - Room was ok. No liner for ice bucket and oily film covered the bottom of the bucket. The breakfast was a joke. Coffee machine broken. Juice machine broken. 45 minutes before end of breakfast period, no milk, one wrapped muffin, one grey greasy sausage patty, and a spoonful of cold eggs available. No vending machine. While checking out, desk person never asked about how our stay went or asked us to come again or anything really. Not even “have a nice day”. Ever again at this hotel.
- Judy (6/5): Run down facilities and equipment - Workers were friendly and helpful. There was no coffee in the dining area. There was no ice and the ice machines were broken.
It was clean.
- Verified traveler (8/5): No Frills but Comfortable! - The hotel is no frills but very comfortable! Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable and quiet - The bed was medium firm and comfortable and slept really well due to how quiet it was. Staff was wonderful.
- Christina (10/5): Very Very Clean! - The gentlemen that checked me in was very nice and answered all my questions. This seems to be a new place because everything was very clean and neat. A small detail to some but the rooms also had a single serve coffee maker, which was a plus to me!
- Delbert (8/5): - The bed is too soft, our backs were hurting
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was a decent best western. The first floor hallway/lobby smelled like there was a natural gas leak.
- Richard (8/5): - Small hotel but options were limited to two other properties. Staff was friendly and helpful but there were quite a few bugs around but not the hotel’s fault as property is located in the country and there are many present!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay. Comfortable room.
- Pam (8/5): - above average will stay again
- Amaya (10/5): - The bed was amazing. The rooms were clean.
- CU (8/5): - Older hotel, but clean and quiet. Great host and no cost for a late check out.
- SallyCisneros (10/5): - We were there for a family reunion. Best place to stay.
- AmericanTejano (10/5): - Mice and clean comfortable room. Fantastic breakfast choices including hot food.
- Jaime (4/5): Disappointment - The restroom was very dirty. Allot of hair in the shower the we had to clean the floored even asked housekeeper for cleaners. She never bothered to ask why
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean rooms, laundry room needs attention. Breakfast is good.
- MFlo (10/5): - Clean and convenient. Friendly staff. Have stayed here several times with not problems.
- Danny (4/5): I usually like the Best Western - The room had a strong mildew odor and temperature adjustability was non-existent.
- Roel Ruben (6/5): Double Charge - They did not accept my Hotels.com paid reservation! Had to pay again
- Dinorah (10/5): Great stay! - Visited my hometown and it was a great little getaway in a nice and clean motel. No need to bother family and beg for a room! :)
- maricelia (8/5): Air conditioner was very noisy and kept turning on - Air conditioner was very noisy and kept turning off and on, it was so loud and kept waking up my 10 month old baby.
- Tomas (8/5): Great - It was great
- Nathan (10/5): Nice hotel! - The beds were very comfortable, the kids enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast choices were delicious.
- Ramon (10/5): Got the rest we needed - Everything was great. We stayed here because we had a job to do in the area and we were able to get the rest we needed. Thank you.
- Gordon (8/5): Perfect - Just right
- Gina (10/5): Great hotel - Best hotel in town!
- David (10/5): Convenient and clean hotel - Very friendly staff. The swimming pool was well maintained and room was clean and comfortable.
- Severo (10/5): - Excellent stay. Very quiet & clean room breakfast was great.
- Scott (10/5): - I was in town for a funeral and it was a comfort to me to have a comfortable and clean room and friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I never complained about anythin, but it was supper cold & the room was not even on the heat control when we walk in. They put us on a disability equip room, no bathtub. The toilet paper was very limited to what was already in the paper holder( no extras) so we were limiting ourselves with that.
I am sure all I had to do was ask but I got lazy doing it.
Thank you!!!
- Dharamdas (8/5): - The blankets were very light and the night was cool. The chair in the shower was broken and I was unable to use it. The shower head fixture was worn and collasped when used.
