- melissadU8051XM (10/5): Mom with 3 girls - Visited Saint Ignace with my 2 daughters and neice and felt very safe at this hotel. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Our room was large and more then enough space for the 4 of us. The pools were both lovely, although the outside pool pretty chilly. We love the nightly fire and smores provided. Breakfast was wonderful and the sunset over the lake can not be beat. We walked to Shelpers when we visited the island, but were able to take the free shuttle back. They will pick you up for free, just let the front desk know when you'd like a shuttle. I will never stay anywhere else in Saint Ignace!

- Collette (5/5): If the A/C's were upgraded, I would stay there again for a longer stay and refer others. - The staff was awesome (helpful and personable - like part of the family!), and the location is great! When we walked into the room, it was extremely humid, making the floor wet. The A/C was on, but the windows had been left open too. The A/C was loud. Consider upgrading A/Cs to the more modern, quieter units available. The toilet was not secured to the floor and wobbled.

- Nancy (10/5): - Our room was meticulously clean, the beds warm, soft, and comfortable, but the view out our balcony over Lake Michigan was spectacular! Reservation services(bookings.com) made getting information, and adding a night virtually impossible. They double booked everything which made me very nervous. Fortunately my hubs was able to get a direct phone to the front desk and they were exceptional at making sure the corrections were made expeditiously.

- Lacy (9/5): - When we arrived our rooms we were booked for rooms in separate buildings. When we explained to the staff that we had 4 kids under 16 they immediately recognized that wouldn't work. It took some time, but they found a way for us to have rooms next door to each other, right by the pool, and with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff and the service continued to impress us during our stay. The included breakfast had a great variety and the staff kept everything stocked and clean throughout the entire service period. Every night they had a bonfire by the lake, and provided everything necessary to make s'mores. The shuttle service to the Mackinaw Island feiry was very efficient, there were always plenty of towels in the rooms and at the pool, the grounds were well maintained and the rooms were clean. We had an Amazon delivery mishap. We had confirmation that the package was delivered and handed to a staff member, but when we went to pick it up from the front desk, they didn't have it.

The noise was a deal-breaker- could hear everything and everybody going up and down stairs. Also, the indoor pool was way too chlorinated-my son’s eyes were so irritated and my skin was burning after using the pool.

- Brad (9/5): More than meets the eye. - This is nice property with a lot of extra little amenities that would be great for families and summer weather. Room was comfortable and clean with a great view. If I have a criticism, the property is quite spread out and it could be quite a hike for some people to use the pool or get breakfast. We did have an issue with our key cards not working the last day of our stay, which was rather inconvenient since we were so far away from the front desk.

- Heidi (10/5): Fabulous facility and stay! Highly recommend! - When I arrived, I was immediately told I had an upgrade with a full view of Lake Michigan and Mackinac Island . I arrived an hour early of check in, and since a clean room was available, the friendly desk clerk let me check in early. The room was fantastic and included a vaulted ceiling, comfortable king bed, spotless room and a spectacular view where I saw the moon shining a pathway on the lake at night and a red, pink and orange sunrise in the morning! The room also had a balcony with two chairs. Quiet room!! Breakfast was tasty, and a kind kitchen employee ran out to help me with the waffle maker. Off season, $100.00 including taxes! I loved everything!

- alicerP6874TY (10/5): Great way to celebrate our 50th Anniversary - We had an excellent experience. We stayed 4 nights. Our room had a (first floor) balcony with a full view of the lake. We loved having morning coffee and relaxing on the balcony while watching the sun rise and the seagulls flying over the lake. We were close enough to hear the waves against the rocks on the shore. In the evening, we enjoyed a glass of wine by the nightly bonfire, on the beach. It was romantic to stroll on the beach and relax after a fun and busy day. The staff was very helpful with all our needs and questions about the area. Loved that we had complimentary bus service to and from the ferry. As well as a complimentary golf cart ride back to our room when we returned from time on the island. The complimentary full breakfast was hot and delicious! There was so much to do in the area that we did not have a chance to use the other amenities, on site. Maybe next time…

Breakfast was surprising good and had decent selection to choose from. Great view of Lake Huron from my room which had a balcony. Pool looked nice although I didn’t use. Great location. Right by the ferry to Mackinac Island and the hotel even offers a shuttle there (if the weather is nice you can literally walk). They have a fire in the evening and you can make s’mores. Will absolutely stay again.

Not acceptable when you have to use your friends toilet next door!!
