Elizabeth (7/5): It was okay for the price. - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable and had enough pillows. Parking was right outside my windows. Enough towels were provided. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker were in the rooms. There is a forty dollar check in fee if you arrive prior to the check in time and not a Best Western rewards member. I wish they would empty the trash bins in the room daily, rather than upon request or your departure.

Leila (8/5): It was comfortable and convenient. Thank you! - We had a first floor room, it was quiet and our dog was with us and we were close to an exit, which made it convenient to take him out. Breakfast was the norm for your facility and met our needs. Room needs a better toilet that isn't so close to the floor. We are seniors so getting up and down at our age takes effort. We were concerned that the low water pressure would hamper the flushing.
Don (10/5): - The staff at check in and check out were vary good, nice and friendly. Toilets were way too low needs to be upgraded. Booking.com has a lot to be desired. I made reservations for Dec 2nd on Oct 16th and motel never received it. Bad business. Will never use Booking again.

Dena (5/5): - Staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options. Bed was soft & comfortable for me. The carpets are filthy dirty. Stairways look like they haven't been vacuumed in months! Our room smelled musty/moldy. We found what appears to be, black mold around the bathtub caulk. The bathroom door had a hole punched in it, and the carpet on the wall, by the trim, next to the door was peeling. Our room carpets had stains all over. The cleaning crew had cleaned rooms on Thursday, and there was bagged garbage still in the hallway on Friday!! I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Had our daughter been with us, we would have had to use her Epi Pen, or made a trip to the hospital, as she has a severe allergy to mold/dust!!

However when I asked to get my room cleaned and bed made while we were out I was told I would have to schedule that a day ahead of time . Had to leave one day early due to a family illness back home. When checking out, the desk person said she would check with the next person on duty to see what they could do on cost reduction. Nothing done! Not happy.

Lisa Rae (6/5): - The receptionist mentioned checking out late was a problem because our room was suite and required extra time cleaning which was fine except when we entered the room it was not clean. I believe the only thing done in the room was clean linens. There were remnants of a supreme pizza (green olives, sausage and cheese) were all over the floor. The receptionist did offer us a vacuum…There was unidentifiable black specks on the carpet and in the bathroom. The sink had hair around it. The hide-a-bed had crumbs inside as well as pill that luckily we were able to identify as an ibuprofen. The rooms are very noisy, don’t except to sleep well in the suite area since there is no buffer of pool noise. Other than that, the pool was nice and warm!

We got moved to a different room but the faucets were leaking, the carpet felt sticky, I like to walk barefoot but I couldn't do it there. The conditioner and hand soap was empty the first day we were there. The staff were good at giving us replacement including toilet paper. They did a power wash on the pool floor and the water splashed into our room where I was standng in the room, the carpet got wet. I have asthma and something was disturbing my lungs and I wonder how many times that carpet got wet, and maybe mold underneath??? The breakfast was good. We used the gym, there's a nice patio but it was not kept up, weeds growing everywhere, it would of been a nice place to sit and enjoy the free breakfast in the morning.

Westrick (3/5): Issues with my stay at the hotel - The pool, customer service and breakfast. No exhaust fan in bathroom which caused black mold in the caulking. Human hair stuck to the ceiling above the shower. Personal belongings of prior guess we're still in the room. The spare sheet in the drawer was dirty and rolled up into a ball not folded. The smoke detector was not up it was shoved in a drawer underneath the TV. The window had no screen and no lock to it anybody could open it from the outside and climb right through. Stains on the carpet. The whirlpool Jets don't work that well all they do is blow air pockets causing water to splash in your face and eyes. The room is completely dark when you walk in no light switch to turn on a light. Stains on the ceiling.

Shelly (6/5): - We slept well. Furnishings were a bit outdated. When I checked in, staff was great. Friday staff at desk wasn’t very knowledgeable.

Richard (9/5): Superb - The lady at the front desk who checked us in was exceptional. Very nice person! Liked the poolside room! Sticky spot on carpet in room. A group of young adults were pretty loud by the pool until after midnight and made it difficult to sleep.
Dave (8/5): - I had a difficult time checking in because the late night staff was new, but he was very helpful and courteous. I left before the breackfast, so I do not know how that was.
Amber (10/5): - Everything was excellent. The couch in our room had a sunk in part so you leaned when you sat on it but we spent very little time in the room.
Sue (9/5): A good place to stay. - Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great breakfast! Friendly staff. On arrival I was asked if second floor was okay. No elevator and I am having knee surgery soon. We were given a first floor room. So appreciated! Lots of guests but no noise to deal with at night. Got a good night’s sleep. 👍😊 Pricier than I expected.

Rebecca (8/5): - The staff was friendly, but the carpets were not vacuumed well or the floors clean; there were no fresheners in the rooms; plenty of towels, beds were comfortable, pool and hot tub were fine. My daughter's bathroom apparently smelled weird.

ALYKHYM (6/5): - The hotel needs updating. The hall carpets are old and the room smelled like dirty socks. The breakfast was really bland. Scrambled eggs and the same old sausage links. Maybe substitute bacon on some mornings to break up the monotony. It was an ok stay but if Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn was in the area, i would have opted for them.

Kaylie (8/5): - I was here for Grandma’s Race weekend. I ran the half. I enjoyed our stay except for how loud the people in the pool area were. Our room was right across from the jacuzzi. If I come back next year for the marathon, I will try and stay here again, but I will definitely ask for a room not in the pool area.

Mauro (10/5): - The hotel is in Superior, just south of The Duluth bridge. Free parking at the older hotel, but provided a pool and hot tub. Beer store and restaurant is just across the street. Excellent complimentary breakfast in the morning. A great over night resting spot.
