- ELYSIA (4/5): - Front desk receptionist was very friendly, however the carpet and mattresses need to be replaced. The room was supposed to have been a non-smoking room but smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. Our stay was restless due to the amount of construction workers that had been hanging out in the parking lot playing loud music and talking loudly. There was a pan full of grease that had been sitting out in the parking lot along with a charcoal grill throughout our stay.
- NGET (2/5): - As we were driving to the hotel the hotel called and said there was no room available for the day, we booked the hotel 2 weeks before our trip. WE told them to find us a room, they called and said there was a smoking room, we said we would take it even though we are not smokers. They called back later and said even that room was not available. They sent us to the red roof inn next door.

- Sylvia (8/5): not worth the price - doors are on the outside, no elevator. friendly service,breakfast is your basic hotel breakfast but it was good and fresh. beds and pillows suck. shower head is pointed to the wall so you will be up against the wall while you shower. shower curtain does nothing so you will step in a puddle of water when you step out of the shower. carpet felt damp.
- Mike (4/5): - The room looked very clean as we walked in, but then we could see that it had not been vacuumed. The key we were given did not work and we tried about 8 different keys that they tried to program, not one ever worked. Consequently, they had to let us in with the master.

- Joseph (10/5): - This Best Western is a great place to stay for a night if you are traveling. Affordable and close to places to eat and fuel up. The rooms are nice and clean at this hotel. Overall a good place to stay if you need a hotel for a night.

- Christina (6/5): Nice bed but hotel is getting run down - The beds were very comfortable. The room was fine except the bathrooms are small. The pool is very clean however, it is not warm. The paint is peeling very badly on the bottom of the pool and it feels very gross in the bottom of your feet. The hot tub is nice and warm but the jets don’t work. The breakfast was disgusting and meat didn’t look cooked through. The desk employee was very sweet. It just looks like not a lot of effort is made by the hotel owners is keeping up maintenance.
- Blane (4/5): - The smell of weed filled our room during the whole stay. The plugins were coming out of the walls. Hair was in the sink. Had 2 to 3 fiddle back spiders and one was in the bed. The parking was terrible as well. I will never stay here again

The negatives: the room smelled of old body odor/urine. There was a lot of activity in town (carnival & rodeo & man upstairs playing music outside his room) which could be heard in our room. The negatives out weighed the positives this trip.

The pool was dirty and out of service, the gym was dirty and damaged equipment and nothing to wipe down the equipment, and the last morning that we stayed the staff had not hot breakfast, the milk was expired. Then the cleaning lady told us we were supposed to leave, I told her we had reservations for one more day and she said we needed to go to the front desk I told her I would so she sat outside our room door and listened to music very loud while sitting ther . So I went to the front desk to see if there was a problem with our reservations and they said no your good . So I told the lady at the desk well your cleaning lady said we were supposed to check out and is sitting outside our door listening to music really loud on her phone waiting . Her response was (oh)

- Apiwan (4/5): - As soon as we walked in, the strong smell of Clorox filled the entire lobby area. Outside air smelled like cow manure since it was closed to a beef plant (not the hotel’s false), but inside the hotel was where we had problem. We found a broken chair in the room. The refrigerator was leaky, so water was on the carpet. Bedsheets were old and smelled mildew. Breakfast was worse because I could see orange mold around the top of the milk jar where you pour milk (like the jar was never washed). You could make someone really sick, so please clean it. While it was nice to make a Texas-shape waffle, the taste was off or stale. The pool and hot tub was closed. Only one good thing, however, was easy check in.

- Michael (10/5): - I booked this hotel on the fly while in Cimarron, New Mexico, after starting the day in Gallup, New Mexico, and visiting Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos, and I was running late, with insult added to injury by losing another hour at the New Mexico/Texas border. I arrived around around 10:30 p.m., was efficiently checked in, got a great night's sleep, and found breakfast ready to go at 6:00 a.m., including Texas-shaped waffles. Many thanks!

- Michelle (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE! Trust me!!!!! Nasty/dirty/broken - Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Garbage on floor, open soda can on AC unit, bathroom door didn’t open or close fully, which I found out is because when you run the shower the head is so high it points directly at the wall across from it and sprays water about the side and flooded the bathroom and that’s why the tiles are lifting too. Smelled bad and bathroom light fixture cover was also broken and just sitting on the shelf of “closet”. Ghetto, nasty, and “free breakfast” was empty by 8:15 and the house cleaner walked in on me without knocking at 8:30 and said oops and walked out! Thank god I was dressed!! Complained to hotels.com since hotel wouldn’t give me business card for manager and they told hotels.com too bad I already stayed there (got there at 1:30am last night from road trip from out of state) and were there less than 8 hours .. we would have left sooner but it was the middle of the night and kids were tired.
- Susan (2/5): - I made reservations for a king size room. When I showed up to check-in, I was told they only had one available on the second floor. They do not have an elevator so would have had to haul luggage up a flight of stairs or opt for a smoking room on the first floor. I opted to absorb the prepaid room charge and go to a different hotel.

- Barbara (6/5): GROSS - The non-smoking room I reserved smelled so bad of smoke. I’m pretty sure it was not non-smoking. It was in the sheets, drapes, carpet, etc. The room we were in was surrounded by people that live there full time and seemed sketchy. When we first arrived the people on the second floor were cooking on their grill outside of their room. You could see the flames from the parking lot. My niece moved the pillows on her bed and found dead bugs. It was disgusting and all of us felt unsafe. We even pushed the chair in front of the door just to be safe because the swinging lock think that you have on the inside was so lose my husband tried using a key to tighten the screws.

Well, definitely not like Best Western of the past: Food in the frig from the past guest, stairs going to the second level were disgustingly dirty, chair in the room would not be accepted by Goodwill. One good thing was staying in Snyder, TX at a Baymont (not through Hotels.com)..it was perfect.

- Vicente (4/5): - The rooms themselves were not the cleanliness. We had two rooms and one of them had a nasty smell to it, and the other had singes on the bedding. The bathrooms were very small and on one of the showers had like silicone all around the bottom of the tub as to cover cracks or such. Overall not the best as the doors to the rooms are also exposed to the elements and anyone can knock on your door.
- Elizabeth (6/5): - It was ok for price but could've been cleaner and I think they need more people to work front desk.
- Darrell (6/5): - No luggage rack to put suitcase on. Only had 1 nightstand and should have had another one for a 2 bed room. No alot of parking on the south side. Shower curtain was wasn’t very effective and had a small "V" shaped tub. Overall not bad just average.
- Evangelina (8/5): - The room was very well maintained except for the carpet. It was old and worn. It was also a little sticky. Why not use linoleum for floor covering. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.
- Kelly (4/5): - Air conditioning unit was extremely loud and smelled as if it was overheating. Difficult to sleep.
- Mary (10/5): - The pool was closed. The breakfast was horrible. There were minor repairs that needed to be made everywhere. Needed a good cleaning.

- Verified traveler (2/5): “Included amenities” lies - Paid full price to be able to enjoy all the amenities however, they could not maintain the pool and had it closed during my whole trip. No effort whatsoever of trying to get it up and running again, all they said was a measly “oh sorry”.
- Lynn (6/5): - It’s a very average hotel one we find convenient to drive our packed car right up to the hotel door. But this stay I saw something bloody on the bathroom floor, like a tooth with hair all around it. It had been there for what seemed a long time.
- Michael (8/5): Not all bad, needs some improvement. - Hotel was clean and room was comfortable. The handicap shower was in good shape but the water ran out from the shower with the curtain closed. Bathroom was flooded in a short period of time. Potentially dangerous situation when existing the shower area.

- Susan (8/5): - Check in was quick and easy. Lots of food choices and gas stations around. The parking was a little tricky but doable.

- Moises (4/5): - Couldn't use the pool very disappointing. They said the hot tub worked, no it didn't very disappointing. The sauna didn't work either. Hard time getting towels. They have improvements to make for sure. Breakfast and staff were awesome.
- Michelle L (10/5): - Loved the stay. Only bad thing was toilet seat was broken and slid a little while taking care of business. Cleaning service was excellent however they placed the empty trash can on the restroom counter with out toothbrushes and other toiletries. Ew. But again it was a nice place. Quiet. Clean. Affordable and near restaurants
