Annie (10/5): Wonderful home away from home - My husband travels for work and all his work is in Ashland so he has had a stay a little bit of everywhere that is available there in Ashland and Best Western is the only place he will stay anymore . We could never say enough about the cleanliness, breakfast, staff!! A happy husband is a happy wife 😉💪 No complaints ♥️

Melissa (5/5): Won't stay again - It was close to where we needed to be, that is it. Sadly, the gentlemen who helped with booking ( Scott ) was off. He was wonderful to deal with and would have did his best to help us. Sadly, the lazy rude young lady, could have cared less. The staff clearly hates her job. Rude and didn't want to help AT ALL. The beds might as well be on the floor and this was a handicap room. How do expect folks to get up with beds so low. How does one in wheelchairs transfer back and forth ? TERRIBLE DESIGN

Sara (6/5): Not for me. - Breakfast, location and clean room. Showers...u can't shave so, instead ur standing outside of the shower using the toilet. Rooms and corridors are not sound proof. Each night starting at 3am people kept coming and going slamming their doors.

Sue (10/5): Clean and quiet. Convenient location. - I had a very nice stay. The hotel was very clean and my room was spacious especially the bathroom. The rooms have Keurig style coffee makers with an assortment of coffees and tea. There is a refigerator with a real freezer and a microwave also. Breakfast is included and there is an assortment of hot and cold food offered. The gentleman who checked me in and worked nights was very friendly and welcoming and informative. There is ample free parking and several restaurants within walking distance. There is an outdoor pool but it was off season when I was there. I would recommend this hotel.
Stephanie (6/5): - This hotel is good for a quick stay. Check-in was very easy and the lady at the front was extremely nice and hospitable. The only issue was the room smelled quite musty and the bathroom had dirty rags and floors. Pillows were quite lumpy and some of the sheets were dirty as well.

Brittany (10/5): Perfect place for a stay to rest up . - Easy to get to, clean and up to date. We arrived late after our event and I walked in and the staff member already had my stuff ready to go. Was very convenient. Figured I was one of the last to check in for the day. Hotels should adopt “true fees” was asked for a $50 deposit for incidentals at check in, assumed that may have been taken care of thru booking but was not for sure, & I understand that it’s standard like anywhere. But when they ran my card for it it was 3x the $50 fee. A hold that will be on my card for over a week. Just put the $50 deposit on the check in and return it later. $155 surprise at check in at 1230am isn’t fun.
Pauletta (10/5): Pleasant restful stay for us sisters! - Very clean! Comfortable beds! Friendly and helpful staff! Wonderful shower! The breakfast was a little lacking. Muffins were stale. No other pastry selection. Hot food was only lukewarm. Great hot coffee and waffles!
Robin (8/5): - Waited several minutes to check in. House keeping walked by and had to go in the back to get someone to check me in. Breakfast options were scarce. The waffle batter ran out, when I asked if they had more she was very rude and stated breakfast was over at 9:30, this was before 9:00. She said she would look and she never came back.

The bathroom had no ventilation and it smelt like sewer when you turned the water on. The price would have been fair but bc of an event they quadrupled the price and charged 3 different tourist tax. A normal room would’ve cost $116 a night and we paid $400 a night

Christina (10/5): Planning another visit soon! - Hotel was at capacity for the weekend but everything was perfect from check in to check out. We got to the property about 45 minutes before check in. Our room was not yet ready which was 100% expected. We made the comment that we were just there a little early to swim, they allowed us to swim why we waited for the room to be ready. Pool was perfect temperature and crystal clear, rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and even with the full house breakfast was smooth and well stocked. We are already planning our next visit.
Darrel (9/5): It allowed us comfort and rest. Just what we needed, for the time we were there - Easy check in. Free breakfast. Pool has hour restrictions. There is no lifeguard on duty EVER so this should not be restricted like it is. *Maybe change your rule “from sunrise to sunset”. I love to wake up early and take a swim. At like 7-730, not 9am.

buggaroowho (2/5): Not the Best Western! - I chose the BW due to the location as there were not very many choices in this locale. I flew and drove the better part of the morning and afternoon, so I was very tired. Check-in was smooth and Scott was very friendly and helpful. I removed my shoes in the room and unpacked my bag and after a long morning and afternoon, lay down on the bed in my white socks. I look down at my Socks and turned my foot in and couldn't believe that my white socks were black from the floor. I went to the front desk and Scott was very apologetic and said he would move me to the room next door so that I didn't have to go far...but gave me the key card and said to check it first....It was worse than the initial room. ( I took a towel from the bathroom and ran a wipe on the floor)...Housekeeping was gone for the day. I was tired and just wanted to rest. I requested a mop from the housekeeping room, a bucket and white vinegar. I cleaned my own room!!!! I did not require any housekeeping in my room for the duration of my stay. Also the drain was so clogged that I had to sanitize my feet and ankles after my shower If you're forced to stay here, I suggest that you bring your own cleaning supplies. I stayed 5 days and was insulted when I was offered $50.00 compensation for my inconvenience and/or cleaning

Every part of the hotel that we used had been remodeled, it is amazing. Scott and the rest of the staff do such a great job!

599scotts (10/5): Everything we wanted in an overnight stay... - This is a nice, quiet hotel on the outskirts of Ashland, KY. The immediate area around the hotel isn't all that scenic, but the hotel had everything we wanted in an overnight stay... clean, secure, friendly staff, 3 restaurants within walking distance and lastly,.. wonderful showers. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Midge at the front desk recommended the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot. Good food and excellent Lime Margaritas. Thanks!
Eric (4/5): It was a place to sleep with decent fridge and freezer.nice enough but overpriced. For $140 a night I expect more - Spacious rooms, decent breakfast. Hair in shower, could’ve been cleaner. Overpriced for the experience. TV volume was stuck on a “headphones” control. There was no instructions on how to operate. Could not connect to the casting option to watch on big tv from my devices.

David (10/5): Excellent facilities, very clean, and friendly staff A+++ - The location was very good. It was centrally located, and very close to the entertainment, shopping and restaurant venues. This was our second stay here and it was as wonderful as the first. The only down side was that they very limited dining room seating. We ate a little later to avoid the crowds. The hotel was filled to capacity.

Shawn (10/5): - This location was ideal for an early morning appointment. It was only a few miles away from the location, and there were a few restaurants that were in the area also. The staff were personable, especially Mr Jim and his son. Scott was nice too. The breakfast was good! Mr Jim keeps it stocked as possible and I like that he asked, “what kind of eggs do I like?”
