- Dennis (8/5): Not a bad stay for the price. - A hot tub in the pool area would have been a nice touch. Pillows for sleeping were a little soft.

- Teresa (2/5): The - No animals allowed. The room could have been a lot better & breakfast considering it being a Best Western that we have used a lot.
The room and covers smelled.
My husband was gonna take a bath and black stuff was coming up out of the drain. No extra toilet paper just what was on the roll that we ran out of. It was loud.
The breakfast at 8am had a few pieces of bacon, a spoon of eggs, no bread, no biscuits no one working it.
- Eric (10/5): Traveled to your city for a meeting alone.. last minute reservation. Everything was great.. clean, neat, professional st - Everything was exceptionally nice, clean, comfortable and certainly exceeded my expectations.. Not anything
- Amy (6/5): The bed was comfortable and it was quiet - The location was nice and the breakfast was really good At check-in and checkout, I had to wait forever and ring the bell for anybody to bother to come. The shower was dirty. It was so complicated to try to figure out the TV never have. I worked even in foreign countries one that was so complicated to figure out the channels. It shouldn’t have been that way. The pillows were four tiny throw pillows on the bed. Two of them together might make one standard pillow very uncomfortable. After two years there’s still a hole in their parking lot. We stayed there two years ago. They say it’s a Cinco, but it’s never sank anymore. Got any better in the city said they just can’t figure it Out. You have to drive around barricades in the parking lot and the swimming pool is still closed and has been for two years what’s the point of saying you have one if you never use it just fill it in! The shower also had holes in it that had been patched. And in the photos you can see bright white spots in the tub that was the only clean spots in it. The hotel needs updating desperately.
- Ashley (8/5): It was just what we needed for the weekend. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Clean room. - Convenient Location
- Allen (10/5): - Nice hotel. Plenty of parking.
- Pamela (4/5): Would not stay again - Location & staff were both good Difficult operating tv, lamp bulbs out, pillows uncomfortably, room was extremely Cold upon check in and didn’t warm up much with change in temperature control. Breakfast was not much
- RCS (8/5): - Yes
- Abigail (10/5): - Good

- Katrina (10/5): -
- Pete (7/5): - Friendly great breakfast n juices Smells like mildew but very clean
- Jolene (5/5): The stay was ok. For the money we paid, I’d was hoping to have a good nights sleep but wasn’t because of the mattress. O - It was quiet, staff was friendly. The mattresses and pillows! They need to be replaced. They are old and wore out.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean but very noisy - The walls felt paper thin. We could hear everything waking us up repeatedly throughout the night and early morning. Iy wasn’t noisy neighbors, they weren’t yelling, they were talking at a normal level but we could hear everything. Constantly. The pool was listed but is closed indefinitely which would have been good to know. Constantly hearing water flowing and bang and creak in the walls.
- Olivia (4/5): - The pool was unavailable, but was not listed on the booking. Jacuzzi tub in my room, which I paid extra for, did not work. There was black hair all over the bed, when we pulled the covers back. Whole establishment smelled of mildew.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good - DID NOT EAT
- Lauren (6/5): Pleasant -
- Candice (8/5): Very good -
- Terrence (10/5): - Clean, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, only downside to hotel was small tv in the room

- Mindy (9/5): Superb - Great place to stay No ATM that I could find in this hotel
- Light (9/5): Superb - Staff was amazingly helpful and kind. The only thing I didn't like was there was no ATM on the premises. At least none that I could find.
- Kylie (5/5): Wouldn’t recommend - The room I booked was supposed to have a sofa bed too and didn’t have one. House keeping only made one of the beds each day and didn’t replace the towels.
- Betty (8/5): Nice, clean hotel - Decent hotel, friendly staff, comfortable bed. It was a bit costly.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional -

- James (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Being renovated - Hotel is being renovated. May be nice when finished, but we would not recommend it now. Elevator was out of service. Room felt damp and musty. Our mattress pad had blood on it. We asked for a clean one and changed it ourselves. Not all items available at breakfast even though we were there in plenty of time. Desk personnel were not dressed nor acted professionally. ..
- Katrina (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was unbelievable, awesome. Everything was perfect. Could not ask for a better staff and stay.
- Pete (10/5): Friendly - Very friendly staff Room wad so cold sheets felt damp
- Angella (6/5): - Beds were soft, room appeared clean, building/facility could use upgrading. Staff not available at times
- Adamson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to find clean, freindly, easy check in and out, comfy beds Breakfast could been little better
- Bruce (10/5): Worth the price of a better kept property. - Higher end beds and linens. Furniture and appliances were nice.
- Karisa (8/5): Good value not far off highway. - Not far off highway. Convenient meals within walking distance from hotel. Good value. Our room had a spa tub in it that was wonderful. Spacious bathroom as well. The bed was a bit hard and pillows were uncomfy.
- Abeka2016 (6/5): A Decent Stay for One Night - Not a bad hotel, just not impressive for it being a good bit more expensive than surrounding options. Our room had a musty/mildew smell that was slightly noticeable when we walked in and the air felt humid which made the sheets feel damp. It was stronger in the morning and flared my allergies all the next day.
The breakfast options and service were really good, I just wish the room had been. It was not the quality that my husband and I had come to expect from Best Western.
- Jeffrey (7/5): The staff was amazing and very very nice!! - Staff was great & very helpful!! Hotel needs to be updated & have a better breakfast selection for the price per night!!
- Seth (6/5): - As we walked in to check in, the front desk lady was rude and had no people skills whatsoever. She was trying to go on break and we were needing to get our room. With a frown and a tone not warranted, she said, "I swear, every time I try to go on break, somebody walks in!" And, there were all of 3 cars in the parking lot. Look, I'm sorry that you have a job to do and are overwhelmed by the amount of people staying at your hotel, but it's called a J.O.B. that you are paid to do. It was really kind of comicle to my wife and me because it took all of 5 minutes to check in. Now to the room...A/C got cold, water was hot and rooms were clean which was great! But, round seated toilets need to be replaced by elongated toilets for sanitary reasons, the beds are hard and I guess that's great if you like that, but we don't. Last, but not least, I totally wish I could post the sign from the morning breakfast that was on the wall because...WOW! Never have I seen a hotel that offers free breakfast, complain about what you eat and what you're limited to and maybe it's been abused at one time or another, but the sign was just petty. Oh, and the indoor pool was shut and out of order, but looked just fine. Anyhow, it was just a one night stay and probably wouldn't stay here again unless it was an emergency. Management or Best Western needs to look into these issues.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - The king room with jetted tub was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was also really good, with LOTS of choices. The desk clerk wasn't the friendliest. The app clearly stated check-in could start as early as 2, but when my husband and I arrived at around 2:15 she acted as if she didn't even have clean rooms yet, which turned out to be incorrect as housekeeping listed off about 15 rooms that were cleaned and ready to go.
- Theresa (8/5): - Friendly staff
- andrewhN7098DO (6/5): This place is just okay. - Rooms were clean, staff was friendly but ill-informed with emergency protocal. Check the dates on the food items of breakfast.
- Amanda (10/5): - Courteous staff. Excellent room.
- RCS (10/5): - Very nice
- Crystal (9/5): Superb - The lady at the front desk was amazing (Shannon, maybe?!).
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - Very warm and welcoming upon arrival. Staff was helpful with all questions. Room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent
- Chris (10/5): - Comfortable beds. We slept very well. The room was clean when we arrived.
- Barbara (10/5): - A group of 4 stayed here for a concert nearby, everyone enjoyed their stay. No complaints
- Shawn (10/5): - Clean, updated facility. Fastest & easiest check in & out ever. Karen had our room super clean & fresh. I believe our hostess at breakfast was Shirley. She was so sweet & friendly. She took good care of us.
- Mme_X (8/5): Very comfortable room, but some minor annoyances - We were on a driving trip, and stayed in room 203 a few nights. It has two very comfortable queen beds and comfy pillows. We loved that there were real blankets on the beds, not those duvets that are often too warm and are an all-or-nothing option when trying to sleep.
All the nice amenities you expect of a well-run BW property (we are fans of the brand, and members of the loyalty club): fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker, iron/board, big work desk and ergo chair, good sitting chair, good bedside lights for reading. 3-drawer chest to stash your stuff. Nice sitting chair.
Excellent housekeeping.
The bathroom has a combination tub/shower. Nice vanity with room to spread out your stuff. Good towels, Nice toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion.
Complimentary wifi and HVAC work well.
Very good breakfast of hot and cold items, including a rotating menu of cheese omelettes and other egg items, sausage, biscuits & gravy, make-your-own waffle, etc. Cereals and breads. In a perfect world, there would be at least one cereal available that is not sweetened (even the Cheerios were "lightly sweetened.") Extra credit for the real half-and-half for coffee.
Friendly, helpful staff throughout.
So why not five dots?
Really annoying: the TV system needs to be redone or replaced. Even when we first checked in, the staff had to show us how to reboot the system by diddling with something in the back of the screen. You had to do this EVERY time you turned on the TV. A paper guide to channels would also have been nice, rather than scrolling through the many channels to find your favorites. To their credit, there were a lot of channels.
The bath tub/shower needs a grab bar. A hook on the wall in the bathroom for your robe or clothes would be nice.
Two mornings they forgot to replace the coffee setups.
The pool looked nice but was closed for some reason. We didn't want to use it, but I'm sure there might have been families who book this as an amenity for the kids.
So - these issues are relatively minor (except the TV thing) and could be easily fixed. It's worth giving this place a try for a very comfortable room otherwise, good breakfast, and not far from the highway. A few good restaurants are not too far away.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Clean
- Carol (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dane (3/5): Poor - Poor maintenance. Shower curtain falling down. Carpet worn. Breakfast was gone by 7 and no one to refill it.
- Strawberry_795 (10/5): Great stay - I stayed for 2 nights and it was a great stay. I didn't use any of the amenities and I didn't eat their breakfast but the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and cheerful. I would stay there again.
- Paul (8/5): - Convenient…Close to WK Pkwy, great Mex restaurant nearby, good breakfast. They’re overpriced probably due to hardly any brand hotels along this stretch of highway.
- Dana (8/5): Best place we have stayed in central city! - Clean, friendly staff Pool closed
- Russell (7/5): Good -
- ReedaB (10/5): Wonderful staff - This is the second time we've stayed here. Both times were effortless and pleasant. Cynthia is a gem and made sure we were aware of the things to do and see. The rooms were comfy, quiet and clean. Central city is a fun little town especially if you're a John Prine and Everly Brothers fan!
- kandyce21 (6/5): Central city trip - Need to upgrade the mattress! If the jetted tub doesn’t work, don’t advertise it. Better yet get them out of the rooms! With a regular bathtub in the bathroom there is no need for these jetted tubs in the room.
- Melissa (7/5): Good - Pool was closed the reason I rented there was for the pool
- Kimberly (10/5): Wonderful place just wish they would have let me know the pool was closed before I arrived - Location Pool was closed
- Sissel (7/5): Good -
- AdrianeBriggs (2/5): Disgusted - We stay yearly for a family reunion weekend. Room was standing open and smelled awful when we arrived. Treated horribly by staff and actually threatened. We had a minor key issue that could have been handled way different than it was. I will never come back to this establishment there are other hotels for our family to support.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Within walking distance of some place to eat Limited parking
- Thomas (8/5): Had a nice rat after a great concert in Beaver Adam. - Clean and nice food options within walking distance. Old color schemes throughout.
- leppardtwin (8/5): An open pool would've been a 5 star - I highly recommend Best Western in Central City, KY. It had everything we needed, rooms were spacious and clean and offers breakfast. The only complaint was that the pool was closed. When it's 100 degrees outside, most would enjoy a nice swim. The convenience of having restaurants right there such as Huddle House was nice. Pizza, chicken, burgers and Mexican were also in walking distance. Highly recommended for Beaver Dam concert goers.
- Anonymous (8/5): Fun! - Good location and clean. I was in room 118 and the bathroom door doesn’t shut all the way.
- Pete (5/5): Unsat - Coffee was good Our room had water bottles n dirt underneath beds n chairs from previous guests. Staff wasn't friendly at all last year we stayed they were excellent, and very friendly.
- Raun (9/5): Superb -
- Pamela (8/5): - Manager / Front Desk personnel was very nice and helpful.
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Kulvir (6/5): - I liked that there was ample parking. The property was clean.
- Amy (9/5): It was a clean, comfortable , good location , and the staff was great. - The location and the staff. It was very clean. The pool was closed. A big sink hole in the parking lot.
- John (9/5): Superb - It was convenient, comfortable and a good value.
- Anonymous (4/5): could’ve been better - jacuzzi tub and breakfast were great. room we were placed in, the key reader was broke so we were locked out of the room for almost an hour until staff could get into the room and no discount was offered until I raised the issue.
- Valerie (10/5): - Pro: The clerk at check in was very friendly, & courteous. Room was clean. Breakfast was good
Con: There is a huge hole in parking lot in a very bad place. You are unable to pull up to door to check in as you can't "circle thru".
A small car could set down in thid hole
- Windy (2/5): Very poor - They would not rent a room to me after I had a confirmed reservation because I was local. It was my 30th anniversary. We have young children and did not want to go far from them.
