They were very welcoming and kind. The room was nice and it was a great setup and well put together upon arriving. There were several minor things that were an inconvenience. The remote was nowhere to be found in the room, one of the lightbulbs were out in the lamps. Whenever we returned to the room, we couldn't get into our room the woman at the desk said that there was only one day put on it instead of two, but she did get it fixed and very quickly too! She knew exactly what was going on and knew what she was doing.
• Brandon (3/5): Poorly cleaned. No attention to detail or care for next renter. - Soon as we entered the room we all commented how dirty the floors were. So much that we kept shoes on. It looked like it hadn’t been swept since previous renters. The mirror was smeared like a 2 year old cleaned it, along with clothing tags/stickers on the walls from previous stays. There was visible crumbs all over the floor, and dirtiness throughout-see pics. A clean room without the filth.

• Little (3/5): Brief statement. The beds were very comfortable. But housekeeping needs to do a better job Quit? - Breakfast was very nice. I appreciated it. This staff was very helpful and friendly I have never given a bad review in my life. And I have to I wasn't going to, but I actually videoed the room to the naked eye, so to speak the room, what's clean. But upon actually being in the room for a while, which was 115, there were water stains on the ceiling. The bathroom needs a gut job and needs to be cleaned. Big time there was hair in the tub in the drain. The only thing that looked like that had actually been cleaned in the room was the bathroom. Vanity, there was dust very thick behind the microwave. The refrigerator there were Coke or soda stains on the little office desk. And yes, I did video it like I said, I mean, if you're going to say somebody damaged her a room. And charge a $100 holding or for damages. Then, the room needs to be maintained better. The wallpapers peeling next to the bathroom. The grout is horrible next to the tub where you turn the water on in the shower that ring has separated from the wall. The handicapped bar is rusted. I stayed at one down in middlesboro and it was the most luxurious cleanest room I have ever been in.That's why I chose wintermint the second time, if not the third

• MICHAEL D (10/5): This is a wonderfull location to stay at. - The breakfast was great. Activia yogurt, delicious sausage patties, scrambled egg, and mouth watering blueberry muffins. And a relaxing atmosphere to eat. This is the best I've found. Staff members were welcoming and easy to converse with. Since this is an older building, some squash bugs made their way indoors through a worn door seal. Not much could be done to remedy this without a large expenditure, so I will gladly overlook this small irritation. There was no sign of other bugs in the room, so I was at ease.

• Michelle (8/5): Excellent and the staff is phenomenal! - Has been remodeled with new vinyl flooring and new beds. The bathrooms have not been remodeled, but were very clean and everything functioned as it should. Not a complaint, but would like to see them remodel the bathrooms at some point.

• misty (3/5): I question the management at this hotel! - The location was great, as well as the breakfast. But it is not good to walk into a room you feel like someone is already in. When my son checked in he was sent to a room, that was still locked and clearly had not been cleaned or still had occupants. Went back to desk and was given another room key to which he walked into yet another room that looked as if someone was occupying it, the beds were turned back, the tv was on, the lights were on. He went back again to front desk where this time the young man working it escorted them to the 3rd room to make sure it was good. He informed him on the way that the cleaning staff was horrible and so was the management and he apologized to them.

There were a frew negatives including the toilet not being clean when we walked in, the room was very dusty and they advertised a gym but there was no gym. The free breakfast was nice and decent.

The wallpaper in the bathroom was torn. The coffeepot had dust on it. We only had two small towels. We were told we had to bring our dirty ones to get more.. The shower drained slow. The bed was not comfortable. The towels and wash cloths were scratchy. The location was great. The pillows were nice. The breakfast was nice.
