• Christianna (2/5): It was a good location to where we needed to be but that’s it. - It was in a good location to the wedding venue we were there for. And the ac in the room worked excellently but that was it. Well, the toilet was about to come out of the ground, the mirror closet door fell off, thankfully we weren’t near it or it could have injured someone. There wasn’t hot water due to the system needing to be reset according to staff. The fridge in the room was barely working, it was defrosting or something, barely cold and we adjusted the temperature to make sure.

• BuckyB83 (6/5): OK for a one-night stay - Upon arrival, you could tell by the weeds everywhere that this is a lower-level Best Western Plus. Check-in was smooth and we got a great price on the room when we booked ahead on the app. The room had a musty smell and faced the intersection that trucks using the Love’s truck stop passed through. You could hear the truck traffic all night long. We were near the elevator and could also hear the “ding” of the elevator from our room. The room appeared to have been somewhat recently refreshed, but it still felt somewhat outdated. Coffee and water are available 24/7 in the lobby. Breakfast, beginning at 6 am on weekdays, was fine but nothing special.

• 604kaceyc (10/5): Luling Best Western is the place to stay! - We stayed at the Luling Best Western because we attended the BBQ Festival in Lockhart. Everything about our stay was great. Check-in was easy, and everyone at the front desk was very pleasant. We had an issue with our room's coffee pot and it was immediately replaced. Alicia was very accommodating when we wanted to hang out in the breakfast room to have snacks and play games at night. Rooms were in excellent shape. Bed and pillows were comfortable, towels were in good shape, and there were no plumbing issues. The whole hotel was very clean. We stayed in rooms 304 and 306, and the hotel is far enough from the highway that the road noise was minimal. We'd definitely stay again if we go back to the area.

• Jessica (4/5): - Parking was great, checking is was easy and the staff were very friendly. However, the room was horrible. It had a really bad smell. It smelled like a dead rat. I should have said something when I arrived but I’m not usually the person to complain. I told myself it’s just to sleep and head out the next morning. But the smell didn’t let me sleep and the AC wasn’t cooling our room. I wouldn’t be staying there again. We stayed for a family reunion.

• Bambi (10/5): Best Hotel Stay - Beds comfy, hot shower, lots of movie stations HBO) on Smart TV, hot and delicious complimentary breakfast. Happy Hour from 5:30- 7:30 was a huge plus after dealing with stand-still traffic on the I-10 for 3 hours. The biggest positive was the young lady who checked us in. She was so friendly and helpful! And the young lady who was in charge of breakfast was a breath of fresh air. This is our new hotel when traveling from AZ to GA. Everything was awesome~

I would only ever come back here because of her. She was kind and gracious. She should get a raise. She is why I stayed instead of driving to Gonzales. This room was over priced. $580 for 2 nights? NEVER again. This room was offered to a friend of mine for $300! I am in Luling supporting your city at the Thump and you charge me more? The room smelled like mold so I took a picture of the mold growing on the AC unit. For almost $600 for 2 nights I have mold? My travel companions were tired and asked me to not complain since we were not staying long. I will not be staying again.

The room was clean and cold, considering how hot it was outside. Luling and Lockhart are just a quick drive up the road. Definitely becoming a go-to spot to stay when we’re in the area.

And suites - The rooms were very cleans, not to mention the comfy beds in the rooms,We received an unforgettable smile from the from desk agent her name is Leticia she answered all our questions leaving us at ease. The next day the breakfast was hot and fresh real eggs were a plus .we look forward to visiting this area.

We were just passing thru last minute decision to get a room somewhere along the highway at night so chose this place based on the great reviews! Pleasantly surprised good value and will definitely be back if I ever need a room along this stretch of highway again ! Manager on duty gentleman working on 6/14/25 morning was exactly that….a gentleman!

Pretty much as good as it gets for a roadside motel. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure there were no issues. No complaints, and lots of plusses.
