• Krista (6/5): - This is a very body loud hotel but always very clean and the staff is amazing. I just prefer to stay on the top floor to avoid the noise during the night and the front desk noise. Unfortunately the room was not changeable to accommodate that due to booking with Expedia. Also I didn’t receive full BW points as a Diamond member.

The staff were so kind and made sure to ask us how things were and were interactive with my young children as well. The pool and hot tub were good temperatures as well. With the pool being cool enough to beat the heat, but not too cool. Would definitely stay again.

• Laurice (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and we’d been driving through Alberta, staying at three reputable hotels before getting to Wainright. Hands down, the Best Western Inn and Suites was definitely the best. Our room was spotless, with plenty of space and the continental breakfast was comparable to those we’ve experienced in Europe. So many choices and everything was so fresh and delicious and we were even given a to-go container with muffins for the trip home!

• K6832VKdavidh (10/5): A great asset for Best Western - All of the staff we interacted with were exceptionally professional and friendly. The welcome we received from Ron(?) on the front desk was just what we needed after a long journey to the hotel. The housekeeping staff always said hello and wished us a good day. Breakfast was exemplary. Hermione kept the stock levels high, even when it was very busy, or nearing closing time. The breakfast area was kept clean throughout the time it was open and if, as was the case when we were there, the hotel was busy they opened up their Board Room area as an overflow for breakfast to provide enough seating for everyone. Our room was kept clean throughout our stay and the housekeeping staff attended to our every need. We definitely got the impression that the team that worked there are proud of “their” hotel.

Complicated to get fireplace to turn on and off, but maintenence came up right away to help. In-suite jacuzzi worked well. Ample amount of assorted towels. However, shampoo and conditioner bottles are extremely small, and only one of each was provided for two persons, two nights stay, in a Jacuzzi suite. Shower was good, if you're ok with low-flow shower heads. Bathrobes were nice. Would be nice if there was a digital alarm clock in the room. Phone worked the first night, and didn't the second. - Complimentary breakfast was quite nice with lots of options. Dining area is quite small though. Unfortunately it is only open until 9:00 a.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m. on weekends. They weren't refilling boiled eggs or berry compote.

• heather (4/5): - The hotel entrance and hall were very dirty covered with clumps of mud. It took 10 min for a staff member to come to the empty front desk to check us in. They were obviously short staffed, when she arrived she was competent and friendly. Our room was clean but only had a shower no tub. The linen and bed were clean, but the cooling fan was very noisy and kept us up several times during the night as it rattled loudly.

I sent a message requesting no perfumes, room fresheners or additional scents in the room and was assured that other than regular cleaning product (such as detergent) scents the hotel didn't use them. And for a change, it was true. There were none used and the room smelled fresh. There weren't any noticeable scents at all. Extremely appreciated! This hotel had the best breakfast ever, and we've had a lot. There were hot items including scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. There were plenty of cold breakfast choices such as cereal, fruit (really fresh!) toast, muffins, etc. And a really good selection of additonals like cream cheese, butter, non dairy milks, jams, etc. There was decaf and regular coffee and an assortment of tea and cream and milk. It was really outstanding. We had an early morning meeting and were accommodated with an extra hour for checkout. The pool and hot tub were spotless as was the rest of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and easy to find.
