Kay (9/5): - Breakfast was good. The bacon on the last day was not enjoyed by my husband or myself. We think it may have been plant based. Not our type of bacon. Other than that, it was good with a good selection. I think that the staff thought since we were staying multiple days, that we didn't need them to come in and empty our trash or replace our towels. The first day we put a Privacy on door handle. But our second day we did not and no one came in to check room:(
Alicia or Robert (1/5): 1 of the most horrible stays ever!!! - Breakfast was good and area was very clean. ROACHES!! They were everywhere in the room! Couldn't sleep all night. They tried to get me a new room but I need 2 beds and they only had 1 bed. Then said we will give you a small discount. That room wasnt worth $10. Paid $100 just to get a restless night killing roaches but the breakfast was good, guess we paid 100 for food. Didnt stay the 2nd night.

Stockwell (2/5): - The staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean. We stayed for 3 days and two nights and the Wi-Fi did not work the entire time. The main reason we selected Best Western was for the hot tub which was not working. Needed to wash a load of laundry and the washing machine was not working. On Sunday between 6am and 9 am there was not any breakfast prepared. Cereal was put out but there were no bowls. Had to settle for a dry bagel because there was not any cream cheese put out.

Maricela (3/5): Not pleasant at all and very disappointing. - The facility and staff were wonderful. So many construction workers filled in all the rooms where I was at. They partied loudly until after midnight. I called the front desk 3 times and it seemed that they didn’t care what the clerk told them. I did not get enough rest for my presentation at work in the morning. They need to be in rooms on the other side of the facility vs non construction workers guests. The manager should have came the second time around and placed them somewhere else or asked them to leave.

Jose (1/5): Roach hotel - The toilet seat was loose. The walls were dirty in hallways and just felt dirty. Cable tv has about 20 channels total. A cockroach literally came out of the pitcher of milk as I was pouring my kid a cup of milk during breakfast. Staff seemed unbothered when I brought it to their attention even though the cochroach was still on the pitcher as I handed it it to them. They just brought out another pitcher of milk.

Alexis (1/5): No WiFi, bad smell. - The housekeepers were nice! First of all, there was a weird smell once we walked in. Front desk workers were very rude and unpleasant. I had a question about the WiFi, they shrugged and said they didn’t know what was wrong with it. Second night, same problem the WiFi wasn’t working! Went down to ask the front desk and they stated a tech would be out to fix it and it will be up soon, NO! It was not! For the amount of money I paid, the WiFi should have been better and working at that! We heard weird noise all night, like someone was trying to open our door etc… they only gave us one towel, in a room with 2 beds! Definitely think twice about booking here!!!

This has never happened and we have stayed at alit if different hotels and no one has ever kept a copy for their records. I got a card and will probably contact your manager. I just hope that nothing happens with my information because you will be hearing from our attorney.

manual (10/5): Saved in the nick of time - Had a great time here after having issues with another hotel in the area the staff here rebooked me here without any problems and fixed what was turning into a terrible weekend. Will return to this establishment every time I come in to town.

Victor (2/5): - The guy from front desk came to our room stating that we had a dog inside the room, that wasn’t true, he even came inside the room violating our privacy and even though he didn’t find any dog he said that we hide it because he saw us on the security cameras bringing the dog inside when at that time we were sleeping, we were really tired returning from a funeral, that was one of the worst nights of our lives, we hope Best Western Hotel take appropriate actions against this so unprofessional staff member.

Best western big springs Internet would not connect instructions were to go to CNN.com and their login page would appear the only thing that appeared was CNN news as it would. The tech helpline also did not work. Room phone n/w Lift not working for 3 days before we arrived, too much trouble to inform guest before hand to allow them to book elsewhere. I have bad Knee and hip thank you for putting us on 3rd floor. Receptionist gave us a phone instead of room phone but this did not work. Receptionist was out of her depth in dealing with any problems, we felt sorry for her, but not for the morning receptionist who was just rude. Requested 50% refund got 20% that is after we discovered we paid $214 for a room we could have paid $89 on the day. So much for booking in advance. WTF. Never again.

We enjoyed the stay the only part we didn’t enjoy was the elevator being out but a few steps never hurt nobody. Gaines (6/5): Pool was NOT heated and Chlorine was WAY too strong for my babies to get in and Noone mentioned it - There was a man working nights or early mornings that was very kind. The cooked food was horrible. I think it was the quality of the food not the cooks fault.

Breakfast was included but was just okay and a bit institutional. This hotel is fine if you are just passing through for a night, but I wouldn’t choose it for a multi-night stay. It had all the basic necessities, though. Very close to some restaurants. It’s not right on the interstate, so that cut down on some traffic noise. It’s literally just a minute or two back to the interstate, though, so you don’t lose much time getting to it and back on the road again.

Jill (1/5): They are not supposed to turn down a service dog at all when I get home they’ll be hearing from me - I did not like nothing of this property I book room at on the third-party on Christmas had a service dog with us that did not have a vest on so they had to cancel our reservation because did not have his vest . He had a collar on that says service and we had the papers with us. This is not the last they are not going to hear from us .

Tamara (10/5): Great bed after a long day - A last minute decision. Comfortable, quiet room, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, tea, coffee, juices, breads. Checkin was quick and efficient, checkout was the same.
Wesly (2/5): Horrible - Property seemed decent from the outside and was in a decent location They don’t clean the rooms. I was there for a 3 day stay and the wouldn’t give us clean towels or make the beds. Very disappointed. The indoor pool water temp was 69 degrees according to my Apple Watch which was way to cold to get in, the hot tub water was warm but the jets did not work and there was beer bottle caps in the bottom of it. They don’t charge snacks to your room so have your wallet handy. Overall worst stay and experience I have had from what is supposed to be a nicer hotel.
Melissa (6/5): Nice property, but needs work. - The rooms are nicely appointed, very spacious, and clean. However, there's an obvious ongoing maintenance issue here. The elevators were broken on check-in, which made for a tough climb with all my luggage to the 3rd floor. The toilet was running in my bathroom, and while they offered to move me to a new room (thank you), I felt no indication that they planned to fix it. The hot tub was not working and the water was not clean—smelled strongly of mildew. The pool is ice-cold, so I would think they would at least try to clean the hot tub. Breakfast was a bit sad. No coffee creamer, coffee pretty gross from a Nescafe machine, extremely basic food options, rotten fruit. The waffle iron was on and they provided syrup, but no waffle batter. Why was it even there? The pillows were some of the most miserable I've ever encountered—large, square, lumpy, and hard like stiff sofa cushions. Also, there was no blanket, and even with the A/C off, I was cold, forcing me to run the heat. Between that and the running toilet (whihc I tried to fix myself), I felt so wasteful. This seems like it's not a staff issue, but a management issue. (I'm giving it three stars for the comfortable and clean room.)

Shantelle (1/5): Never again would I ever recommend this please to anyone! - I booked my room and because I lived in the same town I wasn’t a loud to stay at this hotel. NOW WHERE IN THE SITE STATES YOU CANT STAY IF YOUR LIVE IN THE SAME TOWN! I arrived to check in and and wasn’t able to. If this is a policy it’s need to be put up everyone on the site and a call should have been made to me the day I booked or a day later not the day I was checking in and that’s because I called the day before to check on my reservations and ask questions. I should have been told the day before my check in and not at the time as my check in, because if I would have canceled my reservation the time I was checking I would have still had to pay for the the room but the hotel is a loud to cancel a reservation at the time of check in. That’s isn’t right all! There was no management on site or anyone but a check in person and cleaning lady. The way I was treated because I wanted answers to why they couldn’t call before my check in time or the day before when I called they could have told me but no they waited until I checked in say anything about it and this is because I booked this room 9 days before the day I needed. That means they had a week and 2 days to call me to tell me I couldn’t stay because I was a “local”

Frances (8/5): - I had requested a handicapped room. We got a bath with a tub. The phone in the room did not work, so I had to use my cell phone to call the hotel. The front desk said that the room was a handicapped room since there were hand holds. My husband can't step across the tub to take his shower. I asked for a room with a bath we could use. After some difficulty, finally they gave us a roll-in shower. The front desk said you have to ask for a roll-in shower specifically to not have a tub. Just FYI.

Despite my driver's license showing that I’m a resident of Big Spring, they refused to check me in and charged my account anyway. The policy against Big Spring residents was not listed on their website or Booking.com, and when I questioned it, the staff member pointed to a ratty piece of paper on the wall as if that was sufficient explanation. This treatment felt like discrimination and was deeply disrespectful to our community. It’s outrageous that we, as residents who helped build the hotel in our town, would be treated this way. Additionally, the staff member refused to contact the manager and was unhelpful throughout the process. Despite being assured I would not be charged, I was billed after the staff spoke with Booking.com, leading to further frustration. I hope the management addresses these issues, as this behavior does not reflect well on the hotel or its commitment to its guests. Thank God for our beautiful Hotel Settles, who were more then happy to have a Big Spring Resident check in and was given an amazing room that totally exceeded my expectations! We are Blessed and proud to have Hotel Settles for our little town. 10/10 stars Hotel Settles.

Lorena (4/5): Elevator Nightmare - Elevator was broken. Our room was on the third-floor. My daughter and I had luggage. Front desk didn’t offer to change our room or help with our luggage up the stairs.

Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay , friendly staff and yummy breakfast. - We found Best Western to be very nice, they are in the process of remodeling but the front desk person was super friendly, breakfast was wonderful w/lots of choices. Rooms were clean and updated. Laundry facilities were a huge bonus.
Angel (9/5): Superb - Indoor pool was nice but water was too cold. Beds too small felt more like full size than queen size.
Theodore (3/5): Pitiful example of customer service. - The breakfast. BUT The elevator was out of service for at least 2 days.before our stay. They put a 75 year old couple on the second floor and required them to lug their luggage up a 17 step stair case without assistance. They gave us the option of cancellation, but we would have to find another place. See above.
