Nancy (9/5): Worked well for the event. - The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. They have a tavern and snacks you can buy. The location was perfect. The staff was nice. The food was very average. No tissues in the room.

Room and bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Air condition worked great. Hotel felt very safe inside and in parking area. Breakfast had good variety and good quality. Coffee was fresh. Hotel overall was in very good condition and well kept. Would like to see more options in the vending area to be able to buy snacks, etc.

Donna (10/5): Great stay- Reasonable rate - The facility smelled clean and the room was spacious. Loved the vanity for prepping hair and makeup so I could free up the bathroom. I had to ring the bell a few times before getting service at the front desk for checking in. However, we did arrive about 15 minutes earlier than expected, so that could have had something to do with it.

Kutach (8/5): Nice clean comfy weekend getaway - Front desk person was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very clean and up to date. Hotels should consider better lighting in above their bathroom mirrors because putting on makeup is impossible. I'm a coffee drinker, and the coffee maker in the room was fully stocked, but coffee ran out of the bottom and the coffee was lukewarm. Otherwise, everything was great.

The room was clean and all the amenities (television. microwave and refrigerator) were great. I was on the second floor and I could not hook up to the WiFi for free internet. The message on my tablet continued to state that the IP address could not be configured. I brought this to the attention of several of the staff and nobody could help. I could connect when I was by the front desk but never in my room.

The beds were comfortable and it was very quiet at night. I appreciated the breakfast, though my son said the hot food wasn't that good and after tasting, got cereal. You may save there, by choosing just tacos or something simple. I loved the yogurt, good brand.

After for a rear facing or south end room away from pool as you can hear them all night long splashing and hollering even on the 3rd floor. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful.
Michael (10/5): - In a town without many hotel options the Blanco River Hotel is stellar. I could not believe the size of the room. The pool is very nice with nice evening lighting and a waterfall. The breakfast is also better than most and unusual to be included in a hotel this nice. So close to town square with many great choices for food. Also the Blanco river is a minute away and a great place to visit.

Cathryn (10/5): Great Girls Weekend Amidst Tragedy - My girlfriends decided to go to the hill country weeks ago and decided Blanco was to be the destination. We loved our stay in Blanco and will definitely be back in a couple of months. Unfortunately, the hill country experienced devastating loss due to catastrophic floods during our stay, but our hotel was safe and comfortable. Everyone kept us informed about the situation (the area was placed on boil water notice and we were given as much bottled water as we needed). The manager, Grace, and her staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The AC in the room was cold, the beds were comfy and shower was excellent. Breakfast was good but wished there was a little more variety. Other than that, it was a great trip. Our thoughts and prayers to those families grieving their family members and friends lost in the flood.

Only thing done was trash was emptied and towels I put in pile by the door. My moms room had same issues. We spent 3 nights here. Floors were never vacuumed or cleaned. Or beds were never made. Property is well kept otherwise.

Debra S. (10/5): - If you are traveling through Blanco, Texas and need a super nice hotel, with extremely good rates, then you must stay here!! We stayed on the 3rd floor in a room with two very comfortable queen size beds, a sofa and coffee table, a desk, another dining table with chairs and all the other amenities that were great! The headboards on the beds were very cool in that they had soft lighting built in as well as electrical and wifi plugs! So convenient and cool! The furniture was all so cute and eclectic....not standard hotel furniture at all.....great decorating taste and it made you feel like you were in a nice apartment instead of a hotel! Everything throughout the hotel was spotless and in great condition and there was a great little bar restaurant in the hotel where the food was good and they had music and TV's! And finally to top it all off the staff, of what seemed like all women, were so nice and accomodating! Just lovely all the way around! We intially booked our room for 4 days but ended up staying an extra 3 days just because we felt like we were at home! Thanks to all of you for your hard work and smiles!
