I informed the front desk that evening I got there. I stayed in the room. The morning of check out, I informed the front desk there were more roaches in the bathroom than I first informed them. She didn't know I reported cockroaches in the room. Also, the bathroom ceiling had water damage.

• Judy (8/5): - Our check in was easy and the staff was very nice. When we entered our room, the carpet was ripped up in the doorway. We had to push it back down. I went to put some supper leftovers in the mini fridge and one shelf was full of water. Looked like the freezer defrosted. The carpet was damp in front of the mini fridge also. The rest of the carpet felt a little sticky. Breakfast had quite a few options.

• 74 (10/5): - This place is tucked away, easy to miss. Very comfortable, clean, and friendly. I will say that if I didn't have my own soap, shampoo, etc. I would have been in a bind. The property has dispensers in the bathroom. However, none of them functioned or needed to be refilled at the time I stayed.

• Timothy (10/5): Well Taken Care Of and Well Managed - Despite a little trouble with hotels.com, Dulce and her manager, Bo, reached out to me personally before check in and were able to resolve the trouble and even allowed me to check in early. The hotel was clean enough to make me overlook small cosmetic issues. The room was big and comfortable. The shower’s water pressure made its own weather pattern somehow and I had a time keeping the curtain drawn, but I ultimately decided it was funnier than it was inconvenient. The pool area was peaceful and private. The breakfast buffet was fresh and even had a coffee machine capable of producing coffee, espresso, cappuccino, etc. All in all, it wasn’t a fancy place, but it seems well taken care of and well managed.
• Amber (2/5): Stay somewhere (just about anywhere) else - On Hotels.com it specifically states that "the price you see is the price you pay". Upon check-in I was asked to pay an additional $25. When I showed them the stated price that I had agreed to, they assured me that they would "make it right". The next day I got an alert on my credit card for the full amount including the extra $25 and when I went to speak with management about it there was no one there who could address the issue and the desk lady informed me that management was "asleep and couldn't be bothered". She proceeded to text someone about the issue and was told that it was the difference between taxes and that it happened all the time. I got a receipt that showed the breakdown of charges and that was a lie. Simple math. This clearly used to be a smoking allowed hotel and still smells like it. My original intention was to stay at the Best Western in Ardmore that I have stayed at before and absolutely love but they were booked for the room that my husband and I wanted. I spent over $400 for 2 nights in this place and could continue complaining but I won't. Best part about it was the lady who checked me in and actually TRIED to fix the problem and the super sweet cleaning lady.

She didn’t put her phone down the entire time and was anything but friendly. The room was clean but the carpet had large pieces missing and the toilet was crooked and the seat was broken. We make many trips a year to this are to fish but won’t stay here again.

• Jackie (7/5): Great stay, didn't appreciate the 5 am wake up call with the fire alarm going off though. - staff was great and friendly. check in and check out was fast and easy. breakfast was good and the room was very clean. the room was nice and had alot of room which was great because we traveled with my 1 year old and she had a lot of room to roam around. the fire alarm going off both nights of our stay, at about 5AM was not it. The first night my 1 year old and 7 year old woke up and didn't got back to sleep, I called the front desk to ask after the alarm went off and they said it was probably someone smoking in their room. It happened again on the second night around the same time, I didn't ask the front desk anything the second time only because I didn't want to make more noise to avoid waking up my 1 year old. Once was okay I guess, things happen but when it happens 2 times in a row at the same time was very much annoying and startling not only for me but for my kids, my husband and my mom staying with me.

Changed me the next day to another room, and there was mold on the furniture and in the bathroom. I will never stay there again. Wasted $300

• Verified traveler (4/5): Lazy staff and negligent housekeeping!! - When we first checked in everything seemed good! We found our room and walked in. We were impressed with the room at first! It smelled and looked clean, the layout was nice, the bathroom seemed more spacious than most hotel bathrooms. Upon inspecting the sheets there were a couple of small stains that were not very attractive, even disgusting looking. So we went to the front desk and asked if they could please have the sheets changed in our room for this reason. They wouldn't and told us that they were going to put us in a different room. The room they switched us to I feel like was a downgrade! The layout wasn't as attractive, the thermostat on the wall didn't work and was loosely attached to the wall, there was facial hair clippings under the lip of the sink, and this room shared a wall with the laundry room and could be heard through the wall. At approximately 11 that night one of the front desk employees informed us that the sheets had been changed if we wanted move back to our original room. I opted not to due so for the fact of the time of day and we had already settled in to the second room. The following morning after we had packed up all of our personal belongings I had this strange feeling that i needed to look under the mattress because it was so uncomfortable. When I lifted the mattres I found someone's bra that had been left there for who knows how long! The cleaning staff here really needs to do a lot better job here!
