- dane356 (10/5): Great place - When traveling with the Joker and Jester Tour we always appreciate a fast check in after a long day of driving. We were greeted with smiles at the front desk and a simple and fast check-in. The room was very, very clean and stocked with every modern convenience. The room even had a ceiling fan, which I find kind of homie. Would definitely recommend this place to any traveler.

- Climber255085 (2/5): POOL is closed until June 26’! Skip this one - Do NOT stay here if you want to use the pool. It is buried in their website that the pool is down, and will be down until JUNE. Right in the busiest part of the vacation season. They don’t offer a discount or inconvenience voucher or anything, and if you cancel, you still pay the full price of one day of your stays. We just drove from states away and thought it looked like a great stop, but they don’t want you to see the pool is out of commission I realize it is not the staffs fault that best western’s website team is hiding this information to keep their customers up to date on this important piece of information and also isn’t empowering their staff to help keep the customer happy. We have been staying at best western this entire trip and we will have to rethink booking any best western in the future. Please don’t reply with a generic response, a discounted rate for this issue or a credit for a future stay is the only solution and please make this at the TOP of your pages for out of order pool/hot tub, now we have an upset kid who was Looking forward to a pool trip.

This hotel smelt amazingly refreshing inside, it was not affected at all and it was incredibly clean as well.

I logged into my Netflix account when I would turn the volume up on one. The other TV would turn up too very frustrating and zero help from staff.

The lobby was overpowering with Sensi or plug-ins. I had an allergic reaction to that. The swimming pool and hot tub were nonfunctioning. I was told there was 24 hour coffee available in the lobby and that machine did not work.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had excellent lighting overall. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, convenient location, and the complimentary breakfast—it made mornings easy and stress-free. The only thing I noticed was that there isn’t a light directly over the bathtub. The rest of the room lighting was great, but having one there would make it perfect.

I ask for a discount they state they cannot but they will cancel for us but most were full this weekend. I then ask what they had for families and children since they took away pool. They said and i quote "We have nothing for families". I ask were it states that the pool is out. They stated "our website". It wasnt when i booked and no email and notification was sent. She shrugged and asked for payment. If i had a choice i would have gone somewhere else.

The day before we arrived I booked the room using the Best Western website. I specifically looked to see if there was a pool, and the website showed there was. The website made no comment that the pool was closed for maintenance. When we arrived, the desk clerk informed us of this. I made a comment that the pool was important to our stay. The clerk said "Sorry". It is very disappointing that the room rate was not reduced when this amenity was not available.

For the same quality I paid half that amount at the Holiday Inn and Express just 5 days earlier, with the same conditions as the Best Western. It was $504 for 2 queen size beds. No issues, he checked people and got us beers in the lounge. Saturday afternoon I called down to see when the lounge opened. I was told it was not able to be opened because she didnt have help. Later we went out and when we got back there was a group of people visiting in the parking lot and another groupl of people playing cornhole in the grass across from the motel. Here comes old grumpy pants to shut down the fun. She didnt have time to help people in the lounge but had time to stop people who where just minding their own business.

- Suranga (10/5): An excellent hotel to explore Garden city - Spacious, comfortable, and clean room with good amenities. Also provides a good breakfast buffet. Lot of dining options can be found close to the hotel. This is an excellent hotel to explore the Garden city and the nearby attractions.
- Rebecca (9/5): Comfortable place with a good breakfast. - Only about ten years old and it was still beautiful. Water features and comfortable seating in the lobby made a great first impression It seemed far away from everything. We found some restaurants nearby but drove to them.
- Brianna (10/5): - We loved our stay at best western plus emerald inn & suites garden city location. Super clean, everyone was very friendly & helpful, the pool & hot tub are so nice! Overall a great experience.

- Annie (8/5): Great value, better than others in class. - Breakfast was better than usual, pool and hot tub were great and seemed treated with salt as opposed to a lot of chlorine. Hotel was clean and nice. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well. The smell was terrible outside it must be near a hog farm or something. The indoor cleaner smell also wasn’t great but it faded with running the fan in the room.

- marydZ8879UB (10/5): Amazing gem in Garden City. - Wonderful hotel! In Garden City for work and needed 7 rooms. Everyone was so happy! Clean, pleasant staff, good breakfast, and best of all- the showers! plenty of water pressure and hot water. Would absolutely stay here again Loved the coffee machine in the lobby with decaf options too.
