I did not shower due to the stench of the water and lack of water pressure. I left a message on top of the fridge in room 200 for everyone since I doubt they will clean it.
- steven (4/5): - What was wrong was when i pulled out the sofa bed it was disgusting the mattress was dirty. We couldn't even sleep on it. My kids had to sleep on the sofa. Hope these helps out.
- Melissa (6/5): Not the best - Our greeting and receptionist was very pleasant. Our room was very dusty and headboard to our bed was dirty. We had to wipe it clean ourselves. The bed and billows were semi comfortable. The lightbulb on one of the nightstand lamp was out. I called front desk to get a replacement bulb. They told me they would get me one but never did. Continental breakfast was goid.

- leroys73 (8/5): Good Stay - I would have given it a 5 but there was a torn place in the carpet. See Pic. It is clean. The refrigerator was larger than most with a freeze compartment. Check in was easy. It was a large room. Plenty of towels, plenty of 120v outlets, and AC was great. Good shower also. Easy to find with good parking.
- SONIA (2/5): - I stayed here in July 13-14 and I woke up to use the restroom when I turned the lights on I found out a lot of roaches everywhere!! In my personal stuff and toothbrush, terrible experience ! I contacted the front desk and they said they would report the issue. I have pictures.

Breakfast was hot, filled and staff was there keeping up with needs. Quiet and felt safe, had gas station and a few food options with in walking distance. Felt like the best overall looking and feeling hotel in the city. Highly recommend staying there. Also bonus friendly neighborhood cat visits the parking lot for cat lovers.

The room was a little large than most rooms with a king size bed and the sofa sleeper and then the extra bunk seat that was also cushy. What I was disappointed on was the hot tub was cold, but the pool was a little warm. And no towels in the pool area, but we did ask for some. And I did pay over $200 for one night and I come to BW for the hot tub. The water was somewhat unclean.

- bagarner72 (4/5): Expensive and not clean - Torn carpet in the bedroom and roaches in my bathroom. I could live with a well worn room. That’s understandable, but roaches in the room, particularly in November is beyond the pale. Given the price we paid, it’s poor value.

- LamesaRodeo (10/5): Rodeo - We booked our rooms here for the rodeo and the hotel was great. The stuff and hotel was great. We will be staying here any time we are in town. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean.
- Penny (6/5): Best Western Lamesa, TX - The first reservation included 1 king standard room. This reservation was immediately updated to 1 double queen standard room. Which was updated via Hotels.com. The only itinerary received reflected this accommodation. When we arrived & checked in our room was a king standard. I phoned the front desk concerning this accommodation. Amanda/Best Western front desk associate, said this is the only reservation they have. Therefore they did not receive the update from Hotels.com & have no other rooms available. This in turn caused me to have an extra expense of a roll away bed. $10-$15. This expense is not the problem. The problem is my reservation was apparently not confirmed with the hotel. A slight mistake but nevertheless could have resulted in a very uncomfortable stay.

- Timothy (6/5): Jacuzzi not heated. - Was upset we wanted to stay because they had a jacuzzi . When we got to the hotel driving 8 hrs they said the jacuzzi was in service. Well my wife and I went to the pool dressed for the water and the water was freezing. The jacuzzi didn’t have a heater . The jets were running but it was freezing. What good is that? I went to the man who was working behind the desk and asked him about the heater for the jacuzzi. He said he didn’t know it was cold and didn’t have a key to fix the heat in the room. The man was nice it’s not his fault but in overall we could of stayed somewhere else payed less if that were the case. My wife has back issues that is one of the main reasons I booked this. So we were very upset over this.
- kathym66 (4/5): BW Lamesa - Right from the start, things went south. NO front desk person in sight. Waited 15 minutes!! I rang the bell several times and finally called the hotel. Front desk person (3/22/23 at about 8pm) came out of nowhere and stated "they make us do laundry & you should have rung the bell." She only came out when I called and instead of a welcome, I was met with "was that you (calling)?" No welcome, no acknowledgment of being a diamond member. Our initial interaction was not pleasant. I asked about area restaurants and was told with a hand wave "there's a McDonald's over there and a Bush's Chicken." While this may seem satisfactory, I later had to visit the desk and another guest asked the same question. He gets a plethora of great places, including a Mexican restaurant with the best margaritas. I booked a king bed. Got to my room and it was 2 queens. No mention that the room type I booked was not available. When I went back down to the desk, I was told "well, we don't have any kings." WELL, a guest should be told that their room type is not available, not just wait until they get to their room and right off the bat, it is wrong. Someone tell me why in the past couple BW stays this has happened, yet those room types are available on the BW booking site. The room was dirty in the sense that you could clearly see that the HVAC system was filthy. I don't appreciate that dust and dirt blowing on me, during my stay. The carpeted base boards were filthy. Chips by the bed. No guide for the TV. Called the desk and was told to "use the guide on the remote/like I do"...well, there was no such thing on the remote, or on the TV. As far as internet connection, there was a passcode on the keycard, but I had to call again to the front desk and ask which of several listed connections were for the BW. Told which one, and NO passcode was needed. It automatically connected me. As far as the GM or AGM, do not bother insulting me with a canned response of "on behalf of our entire team, we apologize we did not meet YOUR expectations (HOW PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE IS THAT?). Address my individual concerns and make it a point to train your employees to do their job with a smile and that they are correctly trained for good customer service. Welcome your guests. Train your housekeepers or Exec. Housekeeper to do their job correctly. Unless you have cameras in the laundry room, do not expect your front desk employees to leave the desk and have checking in customers wonder what is going on. Never in over 10 years, have I had to wait and go looking for a front desk employee. I have seen my share of front desk workers leave the desk to go out front and smoke cigarettes. (then they run back in when they see you and go to the desk wreaking of cigarettes). Do better. This information will also be shared on the BW page AND same details given on the survey.

- karensJ774PF (10/5): Excelent hotel - This hotel is extremely clean and the breakfast is great. You get a full breakfast and it'is served hot. Waffles, eggs, bacon (yes bacon) as well as sausage, gravy, real potatoes, and soft hot biscuits as well as toast. Cerel and lots more. The coffee is hot not warm. Employees are friendly and helpful. The lobby, dining area and rooms are very clean with plenty of towels and amenities.

- Txmagca (6/5): Pleasant but meant for traveling crews - There are not many options in West TX. The hotel was clean and rooms probably updated or new within last 6-7 years. Staff was pleasant. Our room was clean BUT had urine odor just inside its entrance so we used the bathroom fan continuously to lessen the wafting into sleep area. We didn’t request a change because the last room available was filled right after our check in. In West TX there are few hotel options and they are spaced far apart. Nice breakfast options but the utensil bins need to be on a routine cleaning schedule. The hotel parking lot was full of different work trucks but the crews inside were quiet. They were gone early. There was a man at the hotel main entrance that was shirtless and shoeless, smoking and pacing, while talking on the phone for at least 20 minutes that I found disconcerting. This is a public commercial venue and his (lack of) attire and pacing made the place seem kinda seedy.
- 208larainey (10/5): Nice hotel, clean, and wonderful staff - The hotel was clean, staff was very nice, they were able to get us a handicapped room by the front entrance. The beds were a little too high for our handicapped 80yo family member, made it tough for him to get in and out of bed to go to the bathroom in the night. But, we ended up staying at 2 more BWs during our trip because of the breakfast, staff, and cleanliness... We were sorry to find that all the beds were very high and the last one was like 36in high and almost unsafe for our elderly family member to go to the bathroom at night. They look nice, but the are not practical for all guests.
- Kathryn (10/5): You've got to stay here. - This was our forth stay at this location. The reason we keep coming back is the customer service, cleanliness, comfort and location (in that order). We were not let down in any way in fact, the breakfast bar has just gotten really good with several items for even the choosiest palate. Keep up the great work!

- Elizabeth (8/5): - Just dirty. Stains on the lamps, the fridge was dirty and there was mold in the freezer. The bath tub wasn’t clean. I know they are allotted a certain time to clean, but this was just gross this time. I don’t think anyone would choose to stay in Lamesa so you really have to deal with it 😂
- maddmak (10/5): Clean and Comfortable! - Our rooms were very clean and comfortable (A/C good/ cold). Used exercise room twice and it was nice to walk on Treadmill and watch TV. Walking distance to several restaurants with several different food choices. We will stay again!
- George (10/5): Oasis in the desert - Exceptional service, room decor, cleanliness and comfort. Great breakfast with fresh food at the buffet. Overall, a very positive experience.
- tybrau (4/5): Could use some improvement - Check-in staff was rude, wouldn't let me use my travel card. Bathroom trash full from previous guest. Pool was cloudy and the little hot tub water was murky brown. Pillows smelled like perfume, not clean.
- sherry (4/5): - There are only two properties in La Mesa to choose from this hotel and the Shiloh Inn ..stayed at the Shiloh Inn in October I would never go back to this best western.. the Shilo inn was a much better property overall and it was $30 a night cheaper ..go figure. when we checked into the hotel there was some kind of a birthday party going on for kids in the pool area it was loud dirty must’ve been at least 20 kids in the pool with the noodles and water toys with some kind of weird set up for some parents outside and someone was just letting them use the pool for a party it was also right outside my room so I got to hear all the yelling and screaming from the kids in the pool area after my day long drive.
- rentableone (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice clean hotel, with accommodating staff, we had to move to another room, because the refrigerator in first room made a loud noise, clerk moves us to a much nicer room. He also found a charging cube to use while we were there, since we forgot ours.
- Robert (6/5): - Toilet was dirty probably water stain nevertheless dirty. Several area of bathroom needed rechalking. Shower head stopped up from hard water. Stains in carpet.

- Brent (6/5): Room 310 - The AC unit made a very loud noise when turning on. The commode leaked and you had to lift lid and adjust flap to make it stop.
- Rebecca (10/5): A little haven in a little town - First of all, I cannot put into words how amazing and helpful Andre was for us. We booked a stay and in the mix of a busy schedule, didn't realize I booked the wrong date. He took it upon himself to help us get it sorted out without even asking. It was such a busy stressful day and it was refreshing to come across an individual so kind, patient and made things easy when he could have easily not cared. I travel often for work and I can say, his service was absolute 5 star above even the ones that are supposed to be. As for the stay, the room was very clean. There were plenty of towels, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast choices were great and much needed to start a whole new day. I will absolutely choose to stay here again. Thank you to everyone for all the hard work you're doing in keeping this place great!

- Bert (8/5): - Hotel is nice, but needs a serious cleaning! Needs dusting, carpet needs serious edge cleaning as there is collected lint and dirt 2" out from edge. Under furniture is filthy! Carpet shampooing is way past due! Previous guests hair all over bathroom as well as room furniture. The foyer and breakfast area seemed very clean and everyone was very nice. Nice limited breakfast.
- John (8/5): Good Place to Stay. - Nice hotel. We reserved a handicapped accessible room with roll in shower. The room was nice, if a little small for an accessible room. One odd thing - the door to the bathroom was hung "backwards". (The hinges where on the left, handle on the right). Sounds strange, but that arrangement meant door opened in such a way that it hit the closet that jutted into the room, and a handicapped person would have to go past the bathroom and (if they were in a wheelchair) practically into the hallway to open the bathroom door. If they'd hung the door the other way it wouldn't have been a problem. If I sound picky, we were NOT alone. We mentioned that to the staff, and they said "yes, EVERYONE complains about that room" (111) because of that. That needs to get fixed. Otherwise the room was fine, comfortable beds, room had a fridge and microwave, etc. One especially nice thing was our room had lots of plugs and a small, extra table. Good for plugging in c-paps, phones, etc. Very much appreciated that. They provide breakfast, including take away breakfast. There is also a McDonald's directly across the street. Lots of road construction in the area when we were there, but it didn't bother us except to find the place as the Texas Dept. of Transportation was taken down a lot of signs (and local mailboxes - a story in the local paper) about Lamesa while they work. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

- SnakeManJR (10/5): Rekindle Rattlesnake Memories - OohRah First and foremost? I want to personally Thank each staff member from Room Cleaning Individual? Front Desk, and especially Breakfast Staff member who did a super treat breakfast sandwich on the morning of the 20th of August. Last but not least the Best Western Manager who stands out from the other surrounding competition because his staff puts him in a class of its own. In fact, I was very fortunate to have asked a young lady employee at the Chamber of Commerce of my visit and possible location/s findings and she was very much of great assistance. It was through her ( Ms. Mona Ferguson) whom then recommended my stat with Best Western in which, I did. Such a peaceful and pleasant stay and someday soon, I have will visit again and do plan on making online reservations at this Best Western in Lamesa, Texas. Semper fidelis ~ Joe

- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable, but not great - Bathroom was not very clean. Toilet had hard water stains. (I realize that's a problem in west Texas, but there are products that clean it.) Floor in bathroom was not well swept and found a few false eyelashes on the sink countertop. Pillows on the bed were extremely firm (hard as a rock).
- glo62 (8/5): Exceeded Expecations - We booked at BW in Lamesa to attend a reunion. Due to the size of the town and Covid-19 issues we didn't expect such a nice stay. It is evident they have staffing problems but the hotel was very clean. There was always fresh lemon water and a coffee machine available. Our reunion group enjoyed the lobby area for visiting. This is the best hotel in Lamesa.

I ask since I had the conformation cloud we get the room and take care of the other the next day. They refused, wouldn’t even let us use their restrooms. Now Expedia is telling me I will not get a refund . I am not happy with this situation

- TammyHopper2021 (8/5): Nice hotel with reasonable pricing and an amazing staff - We had a great experience at this Best Western Inn in Lamesa. I would venture to say it was the best hotel in the town and most definitely had the greatest staff around. Even with Covid restrictions still in place the staff provided a yummy breakfast made to order each day. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is very accommodating. The indoor pool was a plus although it had a pump out so we couldn’t enjoy it the entire time. The fitness room is small but very workable to get in a good days cardio. We used the business center twice and it is small but had everything we needed in order to work on a project while trying to enjoy a family vacay with the grandbabies.
- Verified traveler (8/5): No iron in room - I needed an iron to press a shirt. The room did not have a closet therefore there was not an iron or ironing board in the room. I called the front office about getting an iron and the girl said she would look for one but I never heard back from her. Had to attend my event with a wrinkled shirt.

- Sheryl (6/5): Could’ve been better - The food was okay, bed was comfy. We were there for a funeral and the ironing board cover was so wrinkled that I was putting more wrinkles into clothing than I was removing. We had a family member in a wheelchair and the elevator was glitchy upon arrival. The power was out due to storm day of departure so we had to wait for the power to come back on to be able to use elevator. There were battery operated lights in the stairwells that went dead before we were able to check out so we were climbing stairs in the dark. Apparently there was no back up generator. There was no hot water for coffee or tea. Staff was terrific.
