• Jessica (4/5): You can do better - The photos of this hotel really oversell its condition. The private parking is really street parking, and they will tell you to move the car if its in front of a particular neighbor's house who apparently gets grumpy. The receptionist told us off because my friends came into my room to chat about plans for the day for a few minutes (they were also guests, in a separate room). We stayed at QASA the two days prior and just wanted to switch it up but I wish we would have stayed over there.

The bed was a queen and not a king, but very confortable. The breakfast was excellente in quality a quantity General rating for me is 4.8* excellent
• Irene (10/5): Wonderful hotel! - We arrived 5:30am very early for checkin but the staff invited us to store our bags at reception, use the public spaces like their lovely lobby and go for breakfast at 6:00 in their restaurant. Check in normally isn’t until 3:00pm but we were allowed into our room at 9:30 am at no charge! We sure needed this after our night bus trip. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The shower was hot and our room opened onto a quiet street. The hotel was super quiet as it’s on a private back street. The bed, pillows, and bedding felt luxurious! We had an amazing restful night! The only issue for our trip was that the hotel was too far from the centre of town for us to walk there and back every day. We are seniors. We took a taxi to Plaza Mayor and it was only 8 soles, so not a deal breaker really. But we wanted to come and go from our hotel daily to see the sights for four or five days so it wasn’t convenient for us. Lots of choices for breakfast which is included. Very well priced. Wished we could stay longer. Loved the hotel.
• 02kimo (8/5): Modern Boutique Hotel - This is a modern hotel with nice helpful staff. It is very clean and neat with comfortable beds. The winged-back arm chair was the perfect size. The mini-fridge is nice to have in the room. The restaurant is on the top floor in addition to a small exercise room. The hotel is in a residential area making for quiet nights. It is a short ride to the historical center. An enjoyable stay.

• Vacation50990652834 (10/5): Excellent hotel in Arequipa - Excellent hotel in a quiet neighborhood. For the money you can't go wrong. Friendly and helpfull people. The rooms are big with good beds. Bathroom was clean with finely a proper shower. At 5th floor an good restaurant if you don't want to go out for diner. Also breakfast was delicious. If I come back to Arequipa I stay here again.

I was happy there was a treadmill and basic gym. The breakfast was ok but the two dinners we had were mediocre. We were also really happy that the staff let us check in early.

So spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed and pillows, amazing shower, great supply of shampoo, soap and conditioner, laundry service. Included in the very reasonable price is a superb breakfast with many choices of main and endless supply of coffee, tea as well as fruit, juice, bread and sweets. The staff was so friendly, accommodating, professional and available 24 hours a day. Situated in a very quiet neighbourhood with a wonderful view from the restaurant windows. I would not hesitate to totally recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arequipa. Definitely 5 stars!

• CLIFFORD (6/5): 2.5 star boutique hotel. - The location is somewhat convinient. There are no HVAC systems in the hotel so during the day, the rooms are hot as an oven and at night it's cold. Also, watch out for the extra taxes in addition to the amount you pay here at the hotels.com. The hotel charges additional 8% for foreign passport holders provided they are in the country for less than 59 days. If the foreign passport holder is in the country for 59 days or more, then the hotel will charge 18% even for foreign passport holders - we had to pay 18% additional taxes. The breakfast is basic but make sure you know what you want to for sure because they won't allow replacement or more than they have allocated in their plate. There are no breakfast pastries. They put the bread budding on the displace which are that good either. Please do not expect any croissants, Danish, or muffins. The tea and coffee selections are very basic. The gym equipment is also very basic. Hotel staffs are nice once you can break the ice. Have a great view of Misti Mountain.

• Lilian (8/5): Good stay, but not so good breakfast - Mint is a simple but nice hotel, the staff is very friendly. The bed and bathroom were nice, but unfortunately the desayuno was very poor. Just 4 options and nothing else, no yogurts, no fruits, just a simple fruit salad in one of the options. Happy New Year.

Restaurant is decent and breakfast is good. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that we requested a taxi for 4pm for the airport and the young lady must have forgotten and called one when we showed up to check out. The taxi arrived at 4:17

Estava viajando de carro e gostei de poder estacionar em local seguro. Contudo, o hotel fica localizado longe dos pontos de interesse, uma boa caminha de meia hora, o que deve pesar na hora da escolha. Perto de um supermercado. Na hora do checkout, tive problemas, a atendente disse que eu teria que pagar pelas noites, as quais eu já tinha pago com muita antecedência. Este fato me levou certo tempo, até um pouco estressante. No site da Hotéis.com é dito que se tem desconto no restaurante do hotel, porém, após solicitar, me foi gentilmente negado. Considerando que o restaurante do hotel é a única opção num raio de quase 2km, se torna frustrante, ainda mais quando o preço da comida e da bebida é elevado.

• Stéphane (10/5): A great hotel in Arequipa - We stayed at Mint Hotel when visiting Arequipa and we loved it! It is located in a very secured fenced neighbourhood and it seems to be brand new. The staff is perfect in English and very friendly. The restaurant on the 5th floor offers beautiful vistas and the barman make a great cosmo! The only gripe we had was with the squeeky wood floor in the bedroom and the internet which was slow and disconnected quite a lot. Otherwise, we had a perfect stay!

• swathi (8/5): Modern spacious rooms - We booked a junior suite and were pleased with the size and decor of the room. The bed was large and comfortable. There is ample space to put your luggage and stuff. Some rooms have a small balcony which is really nice. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. It is however 30 mins walk from the main tourist area. Do note that there is no air conditioning system in the rooms - dint matter to us as it was pleasant in late April and we opened the windows.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel, but noisy corridor - The Mint hotel was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. The location was in a good area of the city, but you will need a taxi to really get anywhere. The hotel is located in a residential area, so no real sights to walk to or to conveniently see nearby. There is a middle area of the hotel that is open from the top floor to the bottom. Most room doors face this open corridor area. As a result, there is quit a bit of noise that travels through the corridor and even echos. Because of this, the comings and goings of your fellow hotel guests can get quite loud (and can disturb your sleep), even throughout the night and even from other floors. So, if you are a light sleeper, be advised! That is really the only concern we noticed during our stay at the Mint Hotel.

Lo único que no me pareció justo es que al momento del check in encontré la tarifa de mi habitación bastante reducida (aproximadamente en 9 dólares por noche) al mencionarlo en el front desk me dijeron que no podrían hacer nada, ni igualar el precio. Por lo que me sentí algo timada.
• mook (10/5): - 생각보다 훨씬 좋은 호텔입니다. 1층에서 2박했고 3층에서 2박했는데, 1층은 좋은점이 방문열고 나가면 개인정원? (소파가 놓여있고 담배도 필수 있는)이 있어서 좋았고, 나쁜점은 문이 나무문이라서 방음이 좋지 않고 방문열고 나가면 바로 로비라는것. 직원들도 친절하고 주변이 다 부촌인거 같아요. 집구경 다니는 것도 좋고 한 100미터만 걸으면 바로 옆에 강이 있어요 거기 급류구경도 볼만합니다. 택시는 호텔에서 불러주는 걸 이용해도 되고요, 좀 더 저렴하게 다니시려면 GATE1번 경비철문 나가면 (뭔소린지 모르시겠지만 가보면 아세요) 계단 있고 거기 올라가서 골목끝에 나가서 Uber 부르면 러쉬아워 시간 아니면 시내 왠만한 곳은 5~6솔이면 다 다닐수 있어요

• John (10/5): - Great staff (most front desk staff spoke some English), the front desk staff are very professional and provide great customer service, hearty breakfast, very clean hotel and rooms. Loved the hot water and heat in the rooms as Aerquipa can be quite cold at night. Walking distance to a large supermarket and a short taxi or Uber ride to the historic Plaza de Armas. The front desk staff is really helpful in arranging taxis and tours. I would certainly stay here again the next time I visit Aerquipa, a beautiful, tranquil city to visit.

Very good breakfast with a special order for the eggs anyway you want, hot dishes and other items. Fresh juices, fruits, coffee and teas. 2 very nice restaurants about 5 blocks away. 6 soles for the taxi to centro and about 6 mins. Walking maybe 20 mins or more. Big supermarket about 4 blocks. Get a map from front desk. There are downtown map and city of arequipa map. 25 to 30 soles to airport and per hour charge for personal use. Free downtown tour in the centro just tip the tour guide.

• Mica (10/5): In Mint Condition - After leaving two different 3 Star Hotels (El Monarca and QP Hotel) for having Hair and Dirt on the bed sheets. We decided on the 4-Star "Mint Hotel" and boy were we relieved. The hotel is located in San Isidro, a gated cul-de-sac, so there was no traffic or traffic noise. We stayed for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. The Hotel was nice and clean. The staff friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel restaurant food was good, the complimentary breakfast buffet had lots of variety and the wait staff was attentive. On the day we had to leave early at 3:30 am for a tour/excursion to Colca Canyon, we were packed a sack lunch. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to everyone at The Mint.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice hotel in a quiet residential area - A very nice, modern hotel 20 minutes walk away from the centre of Arequipa to the south, where we based ourselves for a couple of nights. The rooms are bright and spacious, with a very modern and well equipped bathroom. The room was a bit hot as the sun was on it all day and there is no air-conditioning, whilst the fridge was a bit noisy, but otherwise a good modern hotel room. Breakfast was mixed, as on the first day it was really nice but on the second day the options were not as wide-ranging or appealing, but it was still a fairly good offering. The hotel is a bit difficult to find initially as it's in a gated residential area, but once you know where it is and have the handy map they give you it's quite straightforward to either walk there or get a taxi back from the centre of Arequipa. Overall, well worth a night or two if you're happy to be out of the centre of the city.
