• Thomas (4/5): It was an experience but I wouldn't go back - The location was very picturesque, however the parking was a 5 minute walk so not easy if you have alot of luggage and not wheelchair friendly. The beds were uncomfortable and smelt. There wasn't enough hot water for more than one person to shower even though we had the boiler on for hours. The bathroom flooded. The staircase up to the room was narrow and dangerous. The staff were too busy in the afternoon to make us a coffee. They accidentally cancelled our booking and when we turned up, they said they still had the booking but we had to pay before receiving the refund from booking.com.

• Georgia (3/5): Never again, Not a place for safety, and rest. - Staff was friendly No lock on door from inside..anyone with key can come in..and workers did not knock in the morning and were about to enter. There was no hot water in room 1 (where they put me the first night) Very loud (workers banging from 6 in the morning. The bread during breakfast was awful (maybe frozen and then thawed/ sliced bread). The second room I was put in upstairs was also loud (air conditioner units/compressors) and smelled like wood burner smoke (smell came in room from somewhere) very uncomfortable and unsafe in all ways. Spoke with another guest. They were also scared at night due to no safety locks.

Άδειοι δίσκοι και ο κόσμος ερχόταν ακόμη. Σκύλος στην υποδοχή να γλύφει τους καλεσμένους και τις αποσκευές, επίσης ο χώρος της υποδοχή πολυ λερωμενος. Δεν αξίζει τίποτα μόνο το εστιατόριο του για μεσημεριανό ή βραδινό.

• danny (3/5): We won't return! - Not much. The staff was friendly and really tried to help .. but unfortunately not always managed with full efficiency. They were very decent regarding a key that I lost running from the place to the car and back. Breakfast was fair. Start with reaching the place, they write free parking but don't mention it is nearly impossible to reach the place by car (extremely narrow 1 way cobbled street). The public parking is around 200 m. away. The room (and we paid for an upgraded 1) is far from what is described in Booking!!!. It is across the road, 2 floors, tiny !! The ground floor (enterance) has a Bunk bed, small kitchenette and hardly place for a table for 2 (all which we didn't need and wasn't mentioned clearly it is 2 floors!), the second floor you climb wooden stairs with no railing! has a double bed stuck to a wall, so you can't get on it from both sides, and to add to it the mattress is completely warnout! There is hardly any place to move in this floor. From the 26 sq. M. described you don't even have 10 sq. M. - including what is supposed to be bathroom ... the last is so small you can't sit straight on the toilet and the sink is alsi tiny tiny ... The whole place felt not really nice and clean (perhaps due to the old wooden floor etc.). The next night, we preferred to drive all the way to Limassol to find a decent hotel.!

• Jorge (4/5): Pretende mucho y no da el servicio adecuado. - Está muy céntrico y en una casa típica muy ambientada. Muchas de las cosas no funcionaban, entre ellas, las luces de lectura de las paredes, una de las de techo… el colchón de la cama doble, literalmente, te engullía. Mucha chapuza en la decoración de la habitación y ni alfombrilla para los pies al salir de la bañera. Precio alto para un servicio muy deficiente.
• Christophe (6/5): Bonne halte au coeur du vieux village. - Très belle et grande maison en pierre au coeur du vieux village, très calme. Chambre spacieuse et rustique avec des poutres au plafond, balcon agréable surplombant la rue piétonne avec vue sur les toits et un petit bout de montagne. Restaurant au rez de chaussée plutôt pittoresque, mais je ne l'ai pas utilisé. Wifi hors service au 1er étage (trop faible, connexion impossible). Pas assez de prises de courant dans la chambre, la mieux placée étant monopolisée par le frigo. Le mobilier en bois et le balcon (notamment la rampe) mériteraient un bon coup de peinture ou de vernis. Lit bruyant au moindre mouvement (sommier à ressorts bien fatigué). Douche impossible à régler en hauteur (fixation H.S). Parking lointain à 300 mètres du logement (donc venir avec peu de bagages) mais cela tient à la configuration du vieux village, théoriquement piétonnier (même si j'ai vu des voitures passer dans la rue...). Petit déjeuner très continental (quasiment pas de sucré). L'ensemble reste beau mais donne l'impression d'être négligé sur plein de détails qui ne coûteraient pourtant pas cher à gommer. Un peu décevant, vu la notoriété du bâtiment et le prix.

• Tom (7/5): - In the middle of the old town, charming old house, it's an old house so live with it, can't understand the 1 star ratings.. We probably didn't get the best room, but all was there for a cosy one night stay . Of course the room was small, so was the shower, wooden ceilings have dust falling down, narrow location doesn't get much sun and so on, but that's part of the game in traditional villages in the mountains, same in other countries.. See above and pick yours . .

• Yelyzaveta Yampol (6/5): - Хорошее расположение, нормальный завтрак. Я забронировала номер заранее на длинные выходные с захватом предыдущего дня. Когда мы приехали в отель, он был почти пустой. Но нас с годовалым ребенком поселили в самой плохой комнате. Номер 15, он над кухней, в которой постоянно гудит вытяжка. Все другие номера были нормальные, только 15 такой ужасный. Этот номер должен стоить в три раза меньше чем обычный, потому что жить в нем невозможно. Ребенок не мог спать днём, вытяжка очень гудела. А ночью два дня были концерты, что слышно было в каждом номере, в полпервого ночи концерт ещё длился, даже закрытые окна и ставни не спасали от звука. Если бы я знала, что будут такие неудобства, я бы в жизни туда не поехала.
• PETROS (9/5): Not noisy, enough amenities, simple breakfast - the location is the best part of the hotel, it is right in the middle of the old town and there are places you can visit and things to do on a walking distance. The room has a working aircondition, fridge, microwave, shower, it has towels, the hotel offer breakfast and the room gets enough dark to get a good night sleep. Now the bad thing is that the room i stayed at least didn't have any windows and the good bed of the 2 that was in the room didn't have any sheets so i would suggest asking for them as soon as the staff member takes you to the room. The price is a little much... but if you find things to explore around the hotel it is worth it.

Very poor room and old n bad furniture n back pain n neck pain sleeping in the bed n very very uncomfortable bed n it was broken n we were speechless! Everything was disappointing

The kitchen did not work and when i called to report it to the staff they sounded like its normal for a kitchen not to work and they knew about it but preffered not to tell us. • Markéta (7/5): Good - Very nice place in the historical center with and amazing atmosphere. We decided to stay another night. :) The room was clean, big, with a very nice view from the balcony. The breakfast was good. And there is a restaurant open in the evening (we didn't try). We stayed during a rainy day - it was quite cold in the room during the night and no extra blanket was delivered when we asked for it. Our bed linen was wet after a rainy day when we came back to the room - probably a hole in the roof. The bed made a lot of noise.

• Chrysso (7/5): Nice but could be better - Located in old Kakopetria, a very interesting traditional building with hot rooms, large beds and hot water. Breakfast is provided but when too many people are gathered at the same time it becomes a bit crowded No parking but you could easily find a place in the central road within 10’ walking distance. Too much noise from the near rooms could get you upset whenever you slept.
